Worlds could rise, and worlds could fall but with the spoken word. And without a world to call his own or any place other than his small home on Duerme which he would have to move eventually anyway, it had donned on Taji that he would have to do something newer. Homes would be needed off of Duerme anyhow, and so in a dull gray flash of light outside of one of the cities Taji would appear, but not outside by far only by a few miles. Exercise was something he needed to do more of even though he could buff himself up magically, that was not something he liked to do.
So he began to trek towards the nearest city so that he could get to work on his plans. Heading into the city, he materialized in one hand a cudgel/walking stick made out of a birch like material that he had found on Duerme and carved into an implement for himself earlier. It was just your ordinary staff in looks that is, but he had added some enchantments to it to make his life somewhat easier. The Enchantment on the staff would make it able to have a spear form out of it when he squeezed the haft of it.
"Now where would one go to apply for citizenship on this planet? Hmm?.."
-
He would see that Zaned had not been too far altered by Zarethian occupation, though whatever his knowledge of such was previously only he knew. The world was vibrant with its great tan savannahs and plains, the many rivers gurgling. The Zarethians had many cities on the planet, most of them large and teeming with life in the squarish prefabricated buildings, many imported down from the home-vessels that the populations had previously rested upon. The buildings were gray blocks, dotted with blue windows and brown tiled roofs. The air around them was buzzing with air traffic, hover vehicles and the like whilst the ground as mostly left to other means of transportation.
-
Continuing on the trek, and eyeing the land Taji realized that the planet since what he had read on it on the Galactic Internet had not changed. Entering one of the nearby cities, walking staff that could become a spear in one hand, and thumping against the ground like a cane of sorts as he walked, the replica considered the city. This would be a good as place as any for him to start out and gain his citizenship if clones could even be permitted citizenship. Well technically speaking as he was not a clone he was not sure if that was a moot point or not. Seeing the Hover-Traffic, it was considered to him at least to be a waste of air traffic. Too many vehicles in the air prevented the view of the sky. Later perhaps he might try to study tech and magic and build/enchant something to make the sky clear but allow them to keep their vehicles in the air. You never know when needing to see your surroundings might be a requirement after all.
"So this is the planet Zaned after Zarethian rule, interesting....."
-
Any person making their way through the streets of the capitol of Zaned, Ilnok, would see the large amounts of foot traffic on the ground roads. Zarethians of all shapes, sizes. A hurried businessmen, strolling through the streets with his black hair hastily combed and slicked back whilst he yelled into his earpiece about a specific bit of finances on the market. A young mother, carrying her silver headed child on her hip and chatting with a friend. If one's eyes were sharp enough, they'd see the seedier elements. A gaunt and dirty young boy, snatching pockets for credit chips so that he and his friends could eat for the night.
The buildings, though gray, had a distinctiveness to them all the same. People customized them as they could and made the best out of what they had, magic. The town hall was a half crescent moon shaped building with the Zarethian flag, red, blue and black flying out its front.
-
Seeing the would be thief, Taji only intervened when said riff-raff decided to snatch from his pocket and intervened by slamming the staff in non-spear form into the gut of his would be thief, thus preventing an illegal action on the part of the crook. Remembering that he had a lot of funds at his disposal, due to all the old IG accounts being put under his name when the IG disbanded officially, Taji decided he might as well live large and in charge while he was here on this planet. Most of the buildings were gray, hideous and in the opinion of Taji quite drab and boring. Some color would be needed, even though they did have a uniqueness. Of course, that would be something to do later when obtaining citizenship was not the priority one. On each of his hands, were MWCA that had been invented by Lucien and given over to him willingly. Turning towards his would be mugger/crook Taji fixed him with a fierce glare.
"You know that will only lead to you getting arrested right?"
-
The kid, for he was only about eleven or so years old in appearance, fell to the ground, grunting as the breath was knocked out of him. His jaded green eyes teared up as he attempted to stand. He took one look at the stranger and knew he wasnt Zarethian just by his dress - and spat on his face before turning away and running.
-
The moment his face was spit upon, Taji would let threads of energy spread out from his fingers and bind the hoodlum, or attempt to bind him hand and foot so as to disable the movement of the crook. Not only did it go against proper decorum to spit in one's face like that but it was also the height of rudeness to do so. This kid needed to be taken to the proper authorities and so he would be. If merely to spare Taji any further humiliating actions on the part of this brat that is. Pulling his hands in, Taji tried to reel in the energies if they could coil around the kid successfully and trap him. Yes, a visit to a local law enforcement center would be in order. The energy coils had anti teleport, anti portal, anti shadow travel and anti order warp properties to them.
"Now you've done it. I would have let you off with that warning, but no. Now I have to haul your sorry butt to the nearest law enforcement facility."
-
The kid scowled and spat at him again, uttering two, loathing words. "Fuck. You."
-
Now the kid had cussed at him, and so Taji merely flicked his wrist and a gag of energy would form in the mouth of the kid. This should shut him up so that he could be escorted to the proper authorities for several counts of thievery. Frowning, he levitated the kid telekinetically as he walked keeping the kid beside him and suspended in the air so that he could not do anything too damaging as the trek to the police station nearest them began. "Okay, you've really done it now."
-
The kid, obviously cursing him in his mind, shrugged and kept still all the way there.
-
Finally upon reaching the destination which was in this case the police station, the replica held out his hand and the kid would be lowered to the ground, still bound and gagged. A tether of sorts would appear attached to the energy bindings that were wrapped around him. Giving the bindings an unceremonious yank, Taji would pull him into the police station. Time for this criminal at least to face a small portion of Justice for attempted and successful thievery, no sense letting the kid waste his life. "Good Evening Officers, what a lovely night. May I present to you one of the future riff raff of your planet who saw fit to try and steal from me, and who has if you examine his memories stolen from several others?"
-
The officer sitting at the receptionist's desk was a short, balding Zarethian man with a pudgy black mustache. He looked up at the new arrivals and his eyes widened slightly in surprise. "Well, um, thank you for bringing him in." He said, getting up and standing in front of his desk. He wore a uniform of black pants a dark red, almost maroon shirt and a black cap. "I think we'll take him from here. Just please put him in this cell." He said, opening the nearest one with magic.
-
The kid would be unceremoniously tossed telekinetically into the cell that had been made available for containing the crook. For this crook did need to be stopped and nipped in the bud before he could do anything more illegal than what he had done. So, walking out after letting the energy he had used to keep the crook contained once he was in the cell fade, Taji headed off elsewhere. Time to find the place of citizenship on this planet. Continuing the trek, Taji hoped he would eventually reach his destination some time today.
-
He would probably find the capitol building of the city, a large half crescent building with Zarethian flags flying on its walls.
