Just suggesting a list of rules/consequences.
1: No Godmoding. If the opponent doesn't have a fair chance at fighting your attack, it is probably overpowered and against the rules.
2: Cussing should be kept to a reasonable level. Obviously, having every other word be an f-bomb is not acceptable. 1 warn for 1st offense, 3 for second, and 1 day suspension for third. Subsequent offenses will lead to a temporary, full ban until the staff can decide what to do.
3: The Staff's word is law, within reason. Admins overrule Mods, Global Mods overrule normal Mods, reason overrules everyone.
4: If someone posts that they will be away for an extended period of time in the Off Topic forums, their property and characters are attackable, but the attack will be paused until the player's return. However, the player's allies can come to aid and resume the attack. Should the allies leave, the attack is again paused.
5: Technology, characters, and ships must be requested and approved before they can be used. Approval differs depending on what is being requested, and will be detailed in the forum's description.
1st offense: verbal warning. 2nd offense: 1 warn level. 3rd offense: 3 warn levels and a half a day ban.

6: Arguing in the chatbox, especially but not limited to arguing over forum/roleplay matters or personal matters, will not be tolerated. If it is a conversation you would like user input on, feel free to post a topic regarding the subject in a cool and collected matter in General Talk. Otherwise, keep it to PM or off-site conversation.
For that matter, harassment of any kind should be reported to a staff member immediately.

Adding a rule that we've already had to the list.
7: If a member has not posted an Away topic somewhere on the board, or if a topic has not been posted on their behalf, then that member's property is subject to attack. If there is no response to an attack within three days, the attacker wins automatically.

Oddly, the last time I updated was also the 23rd day of a month.
