Lucien had changed in many ways during his time spent in the home dimension. The first of the ways that he had changed was that he had stopped clinging to the past and allowed himself to move on. It was true the IG and EG had their uses but those parts of his life were over and done now. Yes, he was done with kiddie games and had to move up to the big leagues. If he was to step up however he would need to also upgrade his equipment. Androids, and bulky technology like he was used to building would not be what someone like him should completely rely on. There was a project in the works he had planned but it would take a while if it could even be possible to do.
The world Fioa had Mech technology and had likely improved since his last visit. His idea involved mech technology but on a much smaller scale than what the Fioans used and more advanced. To do this he would need to contract with some companies on their planet and so he opened a portal in front of him to right in orbit around the planet and then made the series of barriers that would protect him from anything that could harm him in space including the cold, the lack of oxygen or other things.
Once he had done this Lucien stepped through his transportation, the portal that he had opened. This was one of the fastest means of travel available and also one that he could use for as long as he needed without risk of trouble unless in an AP field. Those fields had not even been solved yet, but somehow Lucien might come up with a counter field or something to block them. Either way, there were alternatives to get off of Fioa should the need arise to do so. Now in orbit around the planet, Lucien would send out a transmission from a device on his wrist which just so happened to be a communications device he made to communicate with most technologies earlier sort of like a cell-phone but considerably more advanced. The transmission he sent would be a simple one to the people of Fioa.
