Neovians
The Neovians are a race of human like beings, except for one major difference. You see unlike humans or other similar organics these beings feed off of light and use it as nourishment. It does not matter what kind of light just so long as there is light for them to feed off of. They have gems in their foreheads and on their hands. These beings are like humans but are also immune to most of the diseases that could normally kill a human and use their abilities of magic manipulation to form constructs rather than complex things like other mage types would. Those constructs can be of anything the Neovians can imagine and this is a race with a very vivid imagination at their disposal. Currently they are galactic wanderers after their home world got destroyed. One of their preferences is that they prefer planets untainted with smoke, pollution and other toxics. Strangely though this race are vegetarians and when they eat meat they get sick somehow from it. This means any kind of meat would make them deathly sick and they also view it as an offense to even OFFER meat. Sometimes meat can kill them. Culture wise they are ones that are obsessed with the arts. They do have other abilities such as channeling out their magic as blasts and are also capable of basic elemental and other techniques. They will not however resort to ones that involve any kind of darkness manipulation whatsoever. Removal of the gems in their hands and their heads can also prove to be fatal to them.

Kind of odd, but nothing egregious(aside from channeling existence-if its not magic, then it'll need better explanation than that much). Approved other than that, though.

Call it magic not channeling and manipulating existence as you can't manipulate it in its most basic form, only convert it.

I like this, its pleasant and simple. This is the kind of request I like to see, not consistently asking for universe shattering power but with plenty of potential.
