Eli returned to the North, letting the atmosphere of his home fill him with joy. It was good to be back, now the matter of who now ruled in his stead was something that could wait. He wanted to make sure that the North was in good shape.
"I have Arrived"

Almost immediately, the Seraph, Tepper, appeared in front of him. They had just made Hikari the leader. Tepper stared at him for a brief second before speaking. "Eli, is that you?"

Eli beamed with a father-like pride as if he was glad for the existence of the angel in front of him, "Yes, it is my child."

He take a step back. "But how? We were told that you had passed."

Eli's honey brown hair shined as he smiled, "I did my child, all will be explained in time."

Tepper nods as he regains his composure. "Shall i inform the Seraphim court?"

Eli continues to smile with a serene radiance. "That you shall, my child."

Tepper left to inform the Seraphim about Eli's return.

A black spot formed within the realm of North, closeby to where Eli was, as shadows collected and condensed. This mass of pure darkness rose, taking on the characteristics of a figure enshrouded in robes, though the darkness itself still melted into the floor. Out from its sleeves came two skeletal hands, but oddly enough for this figure, no scythe rose out of its mass. The figure turned its 'head' towards Eli, and while no face was visible within it was obvious it was studying the figure. The figure almost immediately kneeled to Eli, asking with hope evident in its raspy, extremely aged voice,"My Lord Eli, could...Could it really be you? We were all so certain that you had died...Could you really still be alive?"

A black figure appeared next to him, piggy backing off that black shadow. Up popped a lean, black cloaked figure that exhibted a strange amount of enthusiam that was extremely odd given his fearsome, robed appearance. The glowing, skull pommelled sheathe didnt help much with that.
"Well, I dunno. Can gods die?" He pondered, "I mean, where would they go? I've never escorted one, thats for sure!"

Eli pat both the figure on their shoulder, as if reassuring them he was really back, "Your hope has foundations, yes I died, but I did not stay that way."

"Then what lucky reaper escorted you to... well, where do gods go when they die?" Charles asked.

Eli smiled knowingly, "My child, somethings remain hidden. I hope everything is well with you, Charles." sighs, "However, not all of my children remain on the path of light... I wish to speak to Acer alone."

Charles shrugged, his nagging suspicion calmed slightly by Eli's radiance. "Same old, same old. People die a lot. Wait... Hey, you're God right?" He said slowly.

"I was the embodiment of creation... Plex did not leave me unchanged. It will still take time for everything to return... to normal. Peace my child, you have done well." Eli's light continues to fill the North, it was almost as if he never left.

"Hmph... Whatever happened to that Ultra God fellow?" Charles murmured to the Reaper. "I always thought that sounded kinda cool. ULTRA GOD." He said hammily, taking out a purple colored plastic action figure with a yellow UG plastered on the from.

Eli smiled warmly and pat the reaper on the head, taking out a cookie with "UG" spelled on it with frosting. "Point taken my child." as he put the cookie in the Charles' mouth.

The Reaper nodded, as though in thought, at Eli's words. He slightly ignored Charles, having never heard of this 'Ultra God' thing, and merely shook his head to indicate such. However, something still was off about this...Indeed, sometimes people came back from the dead-he'd caused this to happen on occasion-but in all his eons of existence, since in fact the dawn of Life, he'd never heard of a being of spirit, such as himself, or one of the Angels, ever returning from Death. He did not doubt his Lord, of course. But he wasn't able to shake this feeling...It mattered not. He was still a servant of Heaven, and would carry on his duties anyhow.
"Is there anything that you might ask of these old bones, my Lord?"

"Get Aser, and then return to your duties. I must have a talk with him. Your old bones have served me well, be proud." Eli looked as if a father hose child accomplished something beyond his wildest dreams, as if he was truly proud of the Reaper's vigilance in his duties.

And in that moment of conversation a large giggle interrupted the last sentence out of Eli's mouth, a white and light pink blur flashing into sight before the small group of people and a high pitched scream following it. "LORD ELI YOU'RE BACK!"
Hikari was all at once tackling Eli down, her composure lost in her excitement to have her childlike crush back. "I-uh.. I mean!" Hikari jumped up quickly and brushed herself off, her golden golden halo falling to one side of her head as she smiled sheepishly. "I am glad to have you back my lord!" Hikari quickly bowed, her face rosy red with her embarrassment.

Eli turned to her and smiled with his full majesty, as he with a gentle hand tilted her halo back into place. His ears were still ringing but he gave no sign of it. Eli touched the side of her cheek, "Yes I am back, Hikari. you have grown even more lovely in my absence. Your purity gives me hope."
Eli returned his hands to a pondering stance of them clasped behind his back, "How have things been since... my brother passed?"

Moments later, General Tepper returned. He salutes Eli, and reports in. "Sir, the rest of the Seraphim Court has been informed."

Hikari couldn't help but giggle like a lovestruck feline when Eli touched her cheek. He was so pure. So angelic. So drea- No! Hikari quickly regained a reign on her thoughts. Eli was heir god. It was a sin to think of him that way. A sin she was determined to crush. "I knew you'd come back my lord." Hikari chimed as she pushed the thoughts from before aside. "The other angels doubted it, but I continued have hope."

Eli nodded to Tepper, "You serve me well my child." Eli stood with passive radience. Eli looked over at Hikari, with eyes full of pride. "You are a woman of true faith."

And with that Hikari's face turned beet red as she blushed heavily. "I-I-i'll be back my lord!" At that Hikari ran quickly away without a glance back.

Eli tilted his head in curiosity, before returning to his normal repose.

"Thank you, sir." He puts him hand down and looks towards the reaper. "Any news of my brother, Reaper? " he questions the Grim Reaper.

Eli stood in perfect repose, "Summon court to a full session. We must restore things back to order. General Tepper, my child. Please give me a full report of what has happened since I have been gone. I would like to become abreast of current events as soon as possible."

"Right away... " he snapped. He stood at attention, saluted, and disappeared. Meanwhile, a message was sent to the Seraphim in North for the court to gather.

The Reaper, not having had enough time to put thoughts to words on Seraph Tepper brother, decided to write a note for him in explanation. The note was written in perfect cursive English, and read,"I regret to tell you that your brother is a very elusive soul. My Reapers have seen not hide nor hair of him, and neither have I. We know that he has not yet been judged, but yet we cannot find him in the Astral Plane. If we find any information about him, we shall give it to you postdate, but until then we cannot.
The Reaper, after finishing the note and sending it off to the Seraph, began his search for a even more elusive being...The Angel Aser, not seen in a long, long time.

Eli entered the court after greeting a large number of the residents and lower angels. With a calm even stride, Eli found a seat in the court, it was his throne. His spirit was the same as it always been, it would react with a radiance of light as he sat upon it. Eli felt for the first time in a long time, at home. However there was a nostalgia for what he experienced as a boy in the mortal realm of the past few years.
He waited, for the all Seraphim to arrive.

Many of the Seraphim arrived in short time. Some had happy faces, but others looked quizzically at Eli not believing that it was their Eli. For all intensive purposes, Hikari was the leader of North, and most found the arrival of Eli suspicious. In the room, they sat down in their places, with a few standing on their podiums. Grunder was standing at a podium towards the front and center.
Small chatter ensued as more of them arrived. It was impossible, it can't be, and how, were all questions asked amongst them. Tepper looked around uneasily. He didn't entirely believe it himself either, but none the less, he'd hear it out.

Now that Eli had returned, Hikari was simply ecstatic! Oh, she always knew he would come back. Her faith was unwavering with that. But to witness it so soon? And right when she herself had become the leader of the North in Eli's stead? It was only a dream come true! Eli! The true King of the North, her prince, (or at least she loved to delude herself into thinking) had returned!
It called for no less than a celebration! A party! The North had to be returned to its rightful leader, and all of the mortal plane had to hear of such! Oh! The other embodiments had to be told to! And yes! Even Lucifer should rightfully know their Lord was back. Everyone had to know! And how better to do so than invitations?!
"TELL EVERYONE LORD ELI IS BACK!" Hikari shouted as she flew through the streets of the North. Her blue eyes shining and her heart skipping, she couldn't help but giggle as she joyfully spread the news. "Eli has returned! Eli has returned! Lord Eli has ... RETURNED!"

Eli sat on his throne, as he felt his old power flow like a dripping faucet into him. Eli looked over the happy, worried, and skeptical faces among the crowd of Seraphim. He also heard Hikari's shouting proclamation of his return, so the Seraphim's should have also heard it. He smiled serenely, as he nodded to each Seraphim, and greeted them by name, in a tone of a father who had just reunited with his children. He would wait until Hikari would return to the court, before speaking.

Grunder sniffed the air, and looked behind him, far, far off into the distance. His mind went blank for a second. He could no longer feel the breeze that came through the doors, nor the noises of the frantic Serphim court, nor Hikari's shouting. He could only smell one thing... Death. Hear one thing... Screams.. See one thing... He was here. But, why? Why would he be here? Thoughts raced through his head as he thought out his next course of action.
He quickly pulled a lower General from his chair and started to talk to him in a hushed tone. "Max." Grunder addressed him by his first name. "Lock down the building... keep teh Serahpim and Eli here until i give the word, okay?" his face looked very concerned.
"Yes, General, but why?" Max asked him.
"No time... " he says and throws him back down. "I'll be in touch." he yelled as he ran out the door with his weapon drawn. Immediately, Max stood in Grunder's place. "My lord, General Tepper has some urgent business to attend to. Nothing to be worried about." he tried putting on an unconvincing smile as 4 other Seraphim followed behind Grunder with their own weapons., and others shut the door.
