WHEN THERE'S NO MORE ROOM IN HELL, THE DEAD WILL WALK THE EARTH
Lightening shook the sky, and with dramatic splendor hands broke the turf, clawing from the soil, as if from the depths of hell itself. It was thousands upon thousands of Zombies. Under the full moon, wolfish howls pierced the night, and shadows crept through the land. In the middle of it all there was one man standing on a hill.
"RISE TOGETHER! I WAGE WAR ON ALL YOU NECROMANCERS! CAN YOU BEST MY MIGHT?!"
Then came a climax as the thousands of Zombies came free of the earth, the Werewolves sprinted through the hordes, and the Shades shot through the air. The man's dark robe came off, revealing a face thought to have died long long ago.
Norman the Zombie-Tamer.
-
The new thousands of undead were met by the millions already mobilizing in response to the Zarethian ships in orbit. A massive Dracolich flew through the air at the new face, a woman riding upon its back.
"Goddammit, I. HATE. VIOLENCE!" Lauren screamed in his face when Dread got near him. "What is your problem, you and that fleet up there!? We chose this location out if everyone's way, faaar from other planets, so why the hell can't you damned empires leave us alone!?" Dread, fueled by his mistress' rage simply growled at the trespasser, corrosive air being vented out his mouth as his eyeholes burst into black flame.
-
Norman grinned in return, following the dracolith with his drawn enchanted shotgun and pistol.
"I am no Empire! I simply want to test the skills of my fellow Necromancers! It's been a looong time since I've seen any action."
-
She looks at him incredulously. "Oh, and I suppose its just coincidence your here along with that fleet up there, declaring war upon us?" She says, before noticing he's serious. She lets out a exasperated sigh, before looking back up and saying,"Sorry for...Well, for exploding at you like that. Its just, this place is home to a lot of people, and there's ships in orbit around the planet doing who-knows-what, and then you come along with essentially a declaration of war upon us...You just picked a bad time, I guess."
-
Norman silently raises the muzzle of his weapons away from the dracolith, holstering the pistol F?tz and slinging the shotgun ?bershad.
"I am... Sorry. I was overly eager in my goal. As I said, it's taken me a long time to find this place. Would you like my to help you rid yourselves of the fleet, Sister Necromancer?"
-
"Lauren, Lauren Vain. And yes, I'd appreciate the help, though we really dont know why they're even here. They haven't sent much in the ways of responses to our messages." She said, as Dread calmed down in response to Lauren's own change of emotion. He still eyed the other Necromancer warily, well, with the flame-for-eyes-things, but did little more than such.
-
Norman gave a mischievous grin, eying the fleet above.
"Perhaps we should send a stronger message?"
-
"I'd rather not begin a fight with them, if it can be helped. I don't think they're warvessels, since they're not that big, but all the same we don't know why they're here. Well, I don't anyways...Tell you what, lets check in with the larger groups, see if they haven't yet received word, and if not we'll do your plan."
-
"Right, right. Getting ahead of myself again. Lead the way, Lauren." He said, giving a brief smile. I haven't seen a necromancer that pretty in ages. He thought to himself, admiring her dark hair. One thing was for certain, he was going to stick around here. It almost felt like home.
-
She nodded and had Dread fly them back towards a settlement on world.
At said settlement, she lead the new Necromancer to a transmission building, with Dread shifted back into its much smaller(and, surprisingly, actually cute) baby-form, which was able to simply cling to her shoulders and allow him to protect her in these more confined spaces. When she opened the door to the building, she looked around for a friend of her's, not hard to find with said friend's red hair.
"Jen! They said anything yet?"
"Yeah, something about them being researchers wanting to open a facility around here, their reason being, uh, FOR SCIENCE."
"Hmm, odd bunch, but they seemed friendly right?"
"Harmless would be a more accurate term, I think. Aaaaaaand also, Lauren, xo you have any plans on introducing me to your new friend?"
"Oh, right, sorry. This is my friend Jenny, and Jenny, this is...someone I don't think I ever actually got the name of, in all the commotion."
-
Norman nodded amiably toward Jen, giving a quick glance at her hair. Heh. Bright red, dark blue. Funny connection. I wonder if they planned it? Is she a necromancer too? Holy crap, it's like Planet of the Necro-Hotties. I'm never leaving here. And to think, I almost tried to kill them...
With a sly grin, a purple ball floated from his hand, twinkling and sparkling and generally looking pretty. It overpowered all the other lights in the building and cast the whole area in purple, flashing blue or red occasionally. Shock and awe, you old dog...
"My name, is Norman the Zombie-Tamer, of Flourido, the finest of the Nosfair triplets! I make the finest enchantments, I weave the darkest spells, and I reanimate the strongest corpses!" All this was said in a voice that bordered on sarcasm. It was in a gray area where neither of the girls would really be able to tell if he was serious... Or not. The flickering ball cast a red light, enveloping them all in it scintillating radiance and matching Jenny's hair perfectly.
"Are you another Necromancer Sister, Jenny?"
-
Jenny shook her head no, saying,"No, I was born without magic. Met Lauren while she'd yet to settle anywhere, just drifting from place to place, while I was a Planetary Taxi Driver. Had some good times, jumping around the galaxies together. Nice show, though. Used to wish I had magic, at least just like that, so I could just get a job as a performer. You'd think taxing people around places would get you more money, but not when some other corporation owns the taxi you use and demands a cut of all profits you make until you can buy the taxi. Never would've been able to without Lauren's financial help!" Jenny half-spoke, half-rambled on, still kinda dazzled by the flashy performance, and trying not to sound like a complete idiot in front of her friend's new friend.
-
Upon the answer, Norman's smile flickered, and the light sputtered out. Thaat's a bit of a let down... He nodded at her words, spoke reassuringly,
"Magic has many draw backs that come with it uses. There are times I wish I had been born without it." He said honestly.
-
As per the three day rule, both Lauren and Jenny fell madly in love with Norman and his flirtatious nature.

OOC:'>> *had just figured the topic was over*
:P
-
OOC: Norman's flirts count indirectly as an attack, and since you didn't reply the attacks went through. This is totally happening IC by the way :P
