Setus Prime had fallen and it had been a cowardly blow that had been used to conquer the planet thought Allen and so with no flash, no fancy light show and no sound he would once more teleport to Inarin but this time to the other side of the planet away from the Citadel. Once there, Allen would begin a trek towards the Citadel and towards Jay. Normally he would not do such a thing but well given how the current situation panned out there was no alternative now. If they did not find a home-world they would have to live on the planets of their allies. Celso had expressed his displeasure at this to Allen and since Allen had served the emperors most of his life he decided to help out one last time. Jay could possibly help in reclaiming Setus Prime and making sure the Anrufe were in no condition to pull a stunt like they had and take the entire planet with a dishonorable tactic. Using voice amplification when he neared the place he had last seen Jay, Allen would call out. "Jay? Where are you?"
-
It was almost as if Jay had always been next to Allen as he appeared, yawning a little "Hey man, what's happening?"
-
"Well let's see here. We'll soon have a galactic level slug fest on our hands."
"Seems the Anrufe have been up to no good."
"Setus Prime has been taken over, Celso is gearing up for war and trying to call thousands of ships from the home dimension in to attack the Anrufe."
Allen did not like it when situations got this badly out of hand. Something needed to be done now about the Anrufe and Allen knew he was not strong enough to do so unfortunately. This was a problem he would have to deal with in due time. "So Jay, would you mind doing me a favor...and evicting the Anrufe from Setus Prime? All the civilians have been moved to homes of allies until this crisis is resolved/a new home-world is found where they can't just waltz in, use a dishonorable tactic and take over the entire planet with three people."
-
"No can do buddy" Jay sighed "There are strict can and cants when I do all this heroism crap, taking an empire's territory tends to be among the cants." He put an arm on Allen's shoulder "You can have some of your population hang around for a while but bare in mind man I got people here too. You may have to take it back by force." At that moment Jay got the message from Asura "I... Oh fuck. Listen man I gotta go" Jay turned and began to jog in the opposite direction "I'll be back uh... Whenever I dont know." He sounded rushed, almost scared as he faded away.
-
It might even go beyond Galactic Level to Universe Level of a Slug Fest if certain things happened. The way it was, Allen knew there was a high chance of the Mechera and the Anrufe going to war with each other. And if that happened the Neo Narrikian Empire would commit and help the Mechera. Why did life have to be so complex? Why could it not be simple?
When Jay disappeared Allen sighed and began to make plans as he started to walk towards the Citadel. True Jay could not help him but perhaps there would be some sort of reset button in the Citadel he could push that would reset Setus to before the Anrufe had invaded it or something.
Allen was not about to let Celso make the futile and stupid move of going against the Anrufe, not yet anyway. The more Allen would walk towards the Citadel the more his temper would flare as he thought about all the attacks the Anrufe had done in the past and the current events caused by the DAIS. The galaxy was going crazy and he could do nothing about it for he was not powerful like a Templar and had none of their talents at his disposal unfortunately.
"Why is it so hard to finish off one empire with a massive fleet?"
There was one of the problems, as the Anrufe way outnumbered the Neo Narrikian Empire in terms of how many ships they had thanks to the DAIS and also had stolen tech now. Likely they would be able to beat the shields and others soon and so Allen needed options on how he could assist Celso. Each scenario Allen ran through his head gave him more and more reason to believe that as they were now the Neo Narrikian Empire stood absolutely Zero chance of winning a battle against the Anrufe or the DAIS, let alone a war. And this aggravated him. If he had to, Allen would train his butt off and then some in hopes of becoming strong enough to deal with the Anrufe once and for all.
-
As Allen approached the Citadel he would have had the feeling of being watched, the hairs on the back of his neck would have pricked up and he would have outright just felt uneasy.
-
Continuing to march, Allen would have no tolerance left. Groups like the Anrufe were the bane of the mortal dimension and needed to be stamped out of existence. But he realized he could not do it on his own and also that he would need some help. Even he could not do everything himself and that is why about eight years ago he had taken a twelve year old apprentice and began to train him. Yes Allen remembered those times fondly, but not too fondly. The apprentice had been but one of the ways in which he planned to make sure the Anrufe would fall and not be able to come back. Sadly enough, the logical conclusion was that the Neo Narrikian Empire was doomed to failure at least given the current situation and choices. But if he could change that with anything found at the Citadel this just might actually be worth the trouble of going in to see what all was there. Perhaps there was a book on the weaknesses of the Anrufe or something. Either way, something needed to be done about those terrorists taking over most of the dimension.
"Now what do I do?"
-
As soon as he got within mere feet of the Citadel he felt a cold blade on his neck and an arm across his chest, restraining him.
"I- I could feel your magic level a universe away." An almost quiet female voice piped up behind him "What do you want with the c-Citadel?" She sounded unsure but the blade was not quivering.
-
Allen would feel the press of cold steel against his neck and an arm restraining him. For a moment this situation would be laughable if his life were not in danger.
"Tell me young one, have you heard of a group called the Anrufe? What I want with the Citadel is anything that could possibly turn the tide against said group since it seems that the Neo Narrikian Empire will lose and die horribly if I don't do something to turn the tide against them somehow. And judging from their current actions they are about to start a war with the Mechera as well. " Allen was quite serious actually, the Neo Narrikian Empire did not have the man power or the ships to confront the DAIS even which meant against the Anrufe they would be royally messed up unless something big changed. And so something big would have to change namely that Allen would be ready for them this time. "And since I don't feel like dying, finding a means of evening the playing field is the best option." Allen was not a hero in his own eyes but he did view his brother as one for sacrificing himself to stop the enemy attacks. "This situation keeps getting more and more out of hand."
-
"Then you can find a way through asking the Elder" She growled, this time a little more authoritative "Not by trespassing on my Master's sacred Citadel!" He wouldnt have seen, but her eyes widened "I mean uh, Jay Stryder's sacred Citadel!"
-
Allen would close his eyes for a moment and a shudder would pass through his body. Old age was catching up with him even though he hated to admit it. Sadly soon he would likely pass on and he could only hope his apprentice would be able to carry on after he passed. "You don't get it to do you? With how old I am I was trying to do something to ensure the Neo Narrikian Empire survived...before I passed on. I even trained an apprentice eight years ago, but old age is catching up with me."
"I won't be around forever unlike the New Templar Order Miss. This is why I am trying to do something with what little time I have left..."
-
"I-I understand perfectly!" Her voice continued to shake, the blade quivered slightly before it steadied again "I can't just let you into the Citadel! The Templar Order has to stay neutral in the universe!"
-
"Exactly. They have to stay neutral. I on the other hand am not a member of the New Templar Order, or any Templar Order. "
Allen would choose his next words carefully before he had another involuntary spasm of pain through his body. "But if you still insist, I'll seek a way to beat the Anrufe elsewhere.....doubt my body can last much longer with all the energy I've been expending recently. Darn Anrufe have been causing so many problems that they will need to be dealt with sooner rather than later."
-
"You're welcome to wait for my Master" The blade drew back, it was clear if he had too much of an involuntary spasm he would have cut his own throat "He won't be too long."
-
Allen looked over at Inari and thought things over. Waiting for Jay would be ideal IF he could live that long and that was something he highly doubted would be an option. For he knew old age was catching up with him and that he would need to do something to go out in a blaze of glory. So he looked at Inari and held out his hand and pointed it at her. "I know I won't last long enough for him to return here, so I will give you all my knowledge if you are willing so you can bear it. My apprentice should have been back here by now to receive his last set of instructions from me ever. Why does he delay?" Old age was indeed catching up with Allen, Inari could feel his body was old and that his mind was old. His heart was under a great deal of stress as well currently with all the goings on.
-
"You're on a planet of the master of time." Inari stated this simple fact before saying "Citadel, please freeze this man until either his student arrives or Master Jay arrives." As you wish, Maiden
Allen literally disappeared, locked in time until either Jay or his supposed student arrived
-
"I know I sensed his signature here."
Those words would be spoken as Terrence appeared. Clad in the body suit that was his garments, Terrence looked lean and muscular. True he had never missed a meal but his body was lean and muscular. A sword could be seen belted at his waist, one of the works of Lucas nonetheless but it had been finished by Allen some time ago and so Terrence would look around. His expression was a kind, though tinged with pain one. For he had heard of the incident of Setus Prime from Allen himself a couple of days ago and had been less than pleased with it.
"Now where could my mentor be?"
Terrence would survey the area and begin to look around.
-
Allen unfroze right before Terrance with Inari next to him "Is this your Master? He was trying to break into my Master's Citadel."
-
Terrence looked at Allen considering it. Break into the master of this planet?s citadel? Normally that would not even be like him. What exactly had happened that pushed Allen into such a desperate state was something that Terrence did not understand. And then it dawned on him that certain events had transpired such as the fall of Setus Prime. So this is why Allen was trying to break into the Temporal Citadel to find some sort of weapon or something to turn the tables on the Anrufe once and for all. "Normally, my mentor wouldn't do that. Perhaps he was desperate to solve a problem?"
Allen would look at Inari and say. "Thank You." And then he would hold out both hands and a sword would appear in them, a newer more updated version of the sword Terrence currently held and he would say to his apprentice. "The time has come for you to move on to a new teacher. I have taught you all that I can and as it seems you are finally ready."
Terrence would nod and kneel before Allen who would concentrate, even though it hurt him a lot to call forth the kind of energy he was and a pure blue aura would surround Allen's entire form as he would approach Terrence. The energy he was using was not that of a Templar either, but his own energy and his own vital forces.
"You have served me faithfully for eight years. You have now earned this gift more than anyone."
Knowledge would flood the mind of Terrence of all the abilities Allen possessed and skills he had would flood his mind but keep him from being overloaded at the same time. With that, Allen would nearly collapse to one knee in sheer agony. "Old age is catching up with me Miss. I cannot give Terrence his final implement, and so you will have to in my stead." Allen would send a beam of energy into Inari, giving her the location of the special ISPDA made out of Obsidia he had prepared for his pupil recently. As much as Allen would like to, he no longer had the strength needed. The job of stopping the Anrufe would soon fall to his apprentice, due to his age.
-
As the beam just came close to Inari her and Terrence swapped places instantly "Why don't you just tell him directly?" She sounded somewhat chirpy now
-
Terrence began to glow orange, and on him the armor began to form. Metal like scales coursed down his body and a suit of ISPDA began to appear on him. The ISPDA was newer and made out of Obsidia unlike the ones of previous and so when the armor was on him he nodded. Flexing his muscles, Terrence would unleash a laser into the sky from his hand, not from his own energy but from the suit. The ISPDA had also been updated and MWCA had been installed in it by Allen. As Allen watched, he said to Inari after walking closer to her and preparing. His voice was a whisper. "I was worried he was not ready yet, and for such a tremendous gift I may have been right." Continuing to watch, Allen would feel another spasm course through his body. Darn it. Old age truly was catching up to him quicker than expected. Gesturing for Terrence to stop, Allen watched as he descended, still glowing orange.
"It is done. I have fulfilled my part." As Allen said this he would hand the newer version of the blade to Terrence who would sheath it at his waist as well and now he had two swords.
"Thank you for granting me a few minutes with my mentor. I know he will die soon...due to his old age. Long ago he should have retired from situations such as currently befall the dimension, and let a younger generation take over." As Terrence said this he would pull off his pendant and modify it a little with his abilities and say to Inari. "For your kindness this day, should you need my assistance in battle touch the pendant and think my name. I will appear."
-
Inari took the pendant "Uhm... Yeah, thanks" She smiled to Terrence and nodded "I need to go and check on uhm.. The Knight." She waved to the duo before seemingly outright disappearing
-
Terrence would take one look at his mentor and then snap his fingers. Crystals would emerge from the ground and form a coffin. When his mentor, Allen had another spasm Terrence thought he was dead and would load him into the coffin. But the true heart attack would not come for some time yet, which meant that Terrence would be preserving his mentor's body a while. So with that done, Terrence would teleport away.
