So this was the new border line?
It was here that Hikaru decided to manifest herself next. Having chosen to remain in the shadows and not yet announce her return, Hikaru had sensed this planet to hold the weakest of magic signatures. It was perfect for one who wanted to lie low and stay concealed. People coming and going with no battles to run into. Now, if only she could manage to find the right people and the right line of gossip to inform her of the current events in existence.
Cloaked in black with the the hood up, Hikaru wandered the busy streets aimlessly, keeping an ear out for any news that proved to be interesting. It had been years since the Sage had last been seen. And until the right moment, it would continue to be that way.
-
Over to a business man would walk Celso after his earlier explorations and tests of the mechs were all but completed and off of his to do list. While he did this, he would have a dozen things to do at once and looked like he would be a good source of information on what had been going on. "Let's see here. I'll take 500 pulse rifles, 300 million of the old Narrikian war droids......what else? Ah yes. I remember now, one copy of all the old schematics." The business man gave him a figure, Celso would write a check and pay it and the supplies would be delivered to his base by a cargo ship while he filled out the forms needed and what not to obtain them. "Too bad the Anrufe took Setus Prime. Or I could be in my own palace presently instead of that crude one I was forced to build. At least the K Empire has some smarts and are preparing for war against the Anrufe." The business man sympathized with Celso. "Well those contracts I put out on them should soon see to that little problem."
"This matter will soon come to a conclusion....." Celso pulled out his communicator after he got a message. "Alright. I'll remember that to CI Novaneu." So he began to write up another order for what was needed.
-
A girl with blue hair walked down the sampe street as the Phoenix, talking happily with a bight redhead. But what would catch the eye of most wasn't the contrast in hair colors, wasn't the plant growing out of the blue-haired girl's purse...
No, it was the small, draconic skeleton clinging to her back, gazing around. Its eyes lingered on the Phoenix, even the Undead unnerved by her presence, but it quickly moved on, scanning for other threats along its mistress' path.
-
A Albino Haired Scientist walked along the street, his eyes were a strange mix of gold an emerald. He seemed to be shopping for rare books. something about the way he looked over any kind of book was down right unsettling, he drank in a book on disease with the same zest and zeal as a children's picture book. His eyes settled on the black cloaked figure, something just felt familiar, but with no evidence that the figure was, the Albino Haired Scientist just shook the thought away.
Off to buy more rare books.
-
A necromancer, a scientist, and what looked like a paranoid leader trying to buy everything in town; So far Hikaru had found nothing of interest and no one she recognized. The leader seemed weak. The girl, while she had potential, seemed too nice. And the scientist looked like someone the Archive would have sent out back when they were around. Was this what the universe had become since the Sage Three had ruled? A bunch of paranoid empires hanging onto to technology as if it were their savior? Pitiful.
"I'm looking for a weapon." Hikaru stopped at the stand Celso was talking to a business man about buying weapons at, "A katana to be exact. It's of a strange material not seen by most, and one of a kind in this dimension. Seen anything like it?" She was sure to keep her voice low without the aid of magic. She didn't need her signature getting out, but at the same time, her voice if heard by the right people would give her away.
-
To add to the weird assortment of people on the street, a man wearing a simple black business suit. He walked around aimlessly, looking towards the horizon rather than where he was going. Not very many people would recognize this man, since he had been gone for almost 9 years, but Hikaru may. She once knew this man. He wore a trademark golden eagle and a red square pin with a white stripe going through it.
He walked past Celso and Hikaru, accidentally bumping Celso. He didnt seem to notice or care, and kept walking, stilling looking into the horizon ahead.
-
The Albino haired Scientist barely heard the figure, he augment his hearing with magic, its was useful for finding good deals in a market with too much going on to catch everything. He had an inkling as to what blade that cloaked figure wanted. He had retrieved such a weapon, with the help of a lover. He had studied it extensively, and knew he could not duplicate it. However, depending on what kind of knowledge this figure had to trade... he might part with it. Hell, he had enough notes on it for a few lifetimes of research.
He tapped the figure's shoulder, allowing his right wing to form. Wrapping the single wing of onyx and emerald feathers around himself like a cloak he whispered, "I may have such a... curiosity."
-
Hikaru's eyes flashed with a glint of scarlet flames as she turned around to face the scientist, stopping abruptly as her own golden eyes met his. Golden stained irises? Was this another attempt to clone a phoenix or a newer race that had popped up since she'd been gone? Hikaru's eyes settled on the wing before she glanced back up, removing any surprise that her expression may have held.
"And where would you have obtained such a thing?" Hikaru had to be sure this stranger was telling the truth. The last she'd seen the katana was back in Japae when she or her counterpart had been infected with the Virus. For this stranger to have it, it meant they either randomly found it before Japae had disappeared or were a part of Japae's disappearance to begin with
-
The scientist smiled lightly. It was the kind of damning smile that someone who knows a bit more than anyone should smile. He could see the question of his heritage in her eyes. Not that he cared too much. He was unsure of just where he came from, he knew what he was, and a good deal about what that meant, but not from direct experience. It didn't matter to him at this moment.
He snapped his fingers as a copy of his conclusion on the composition of the blade, a number of theories of origin, and its qualities. It was all extremely accurate, the only thing slightly off was most of his theories were way off the mark. However, he got close with a couple, just not the right one. Nothing about how he came to find it or where he put it was in the document. He seemed something a scholar would publish only for other scholars.
"This might confirm what it is for you. How I cam across this object is my concern. The real concern here, is why do you want it, and what is that worth to you?" the Albino haired scientist said with a silver tongue, his wing a perfect cloak around his body.
-
After giving a mere glance at the papers, Hikaru tossed it back to him. That was the one alright. But how did this person obtain it? With one more glance around their surroundings, Hikaru lowered her voice further, "It merely belonged to a friend of mine is all. She lost it and I'm trying to get it back. It really is a one of a kind. So I'd appreciate it if you'd keep your voice down." Her eyes held a narrowed glare as Hikaru gave the suggestion that was in fact a hidden threat.
"What I trade depends on what you're willing to part with it for."
-
One word came to the Albino haired scientist with a countless number of meanings as to what he would part with the weapon for. Knowledge. However for now he would keep the perverbial negociators hat on. The scientist cared little about who lost it. He learned all he needed in his studies of it. The makers of the weapon did interest him, however most of his theories concludied that the makers were long gone.
He wispered with magic, "Take my hand, you chose... a more private location."
-
"Any location I knew could be gone by now." Hikaru muttered under her breath. "The one location that would have been perfect has probably been taken over and I am not...." She paused for a moment, "shall I say up to date on the local affairs of the universe. Perhaps we could find a a place here?" Hikaru was sure to study the eyes of this man, or at least she thought the person was male, as she chose her words carefully. Was he Archive? Some group that remained still around? He did kind of resemble that Abel fellow, just less, mad. Or could he even be Anrufe? There was no way of telling at this point.
"And I don't believe I caught your name?"
-
The scientist smiled a little bit wider, this figure intriged him. If only he could get a little more out of her. However, for now he was content in negociateing a place to negociate. Unfurling his wing, he started walking toward a local inn. It was a little known smugglers haven. The scientist had no intention of reaveling who he was, however, should she follow him into the inn, he might being willing to trade with her.
He approched the innkeeper, not even sure if the figure had followed him. "Two bed. Suite room." Paying for the room, he disappeared into it.
-
Hikaru sighed. Things just never wanted to be easy. Rather than follow him, she turned around and went back to wandering the crowd.
Meanwhile... at the same time Hikaru manifested in front of the inn right behind the scientist as he asked for the room and followed him into it.
Two Hikaru's at the same time. A hologram? Or was it something more...?
-
The scientist yawned, as he closed the blinds of the room and layed up the room with more wards and barriers than most mage's libraries. He considered how he should introduced himself. " My name is not needed any more than yours. The real question is. Do you have anu knowledge worth trading for the object."
-
Raising one eyebrow, the Hikaru within the room looked skeptic, "What... kind of knowledge?" She then gave a short laugh, "I probably know more about magic than even the most learned and accomplished magister could comprehend. But I'm sure you're not after that. In this day and age, no one ever is... So do enlighten me."
-
Magic... interesting thought the scientist. He was rather adapt at magic. Hell how she described her knowledge of magic could apply to the Scientist. However, for him it wasn't the kind of knowledge that mattered. The scientist smiled.
"Its not the type of knowledge that matters. Its the qualities of it. As far as magic goes, I am no hatchling." As his hand burn with a fire that hid everything of it. Literally everything. Except the magic signature. "Offer something. Who knows, you might know something worth the object to me"
-
When the fire had started, Hikaru sensed it right away. It looked like one of her assumptions had been correct, "You're a phoenix." Hikaru glanced to where his hand had once been and then back to him. "I would recognize the fire manipulation ability anywhere." After a moment of silence, Hikaru continued, "I won't ask how. Because then you'll want more knowledge I assume. So for now we'll keep it short. I'll just have to find out how the Phoenix Race could have survived at a later date. For now..."
Hikaru held up her right hand with her palm outstretched, in it had materialized a black beaded necklace that looked like some sort of black glass. At the end of the necklace was a cut cross, inverted, "How about we save knowledge for future deals? I have a feeling we'll meet again after all." She threw up the necklace and caught it, then offered it to him, "So I'll trade this."
-
The scientist's eyes narrowed. From everything his senses told him. This object was made from something he had never seen. Which is saying a lot, so to the Scientist it was worth a lot. Additionally it felt as if alive to him.
The scientist brought blade from resting place in a flash. Its was the real one, no tricks what so ever. He smiled lightly, "You have a deal. However, please tell me what know about both objects. To finish one research project, and to start another." The scientist yawned. "Also, yes I Pureblood Phoenix, however, besides certain comforts it affords, I know less than I'd like about my own race."
-
At first Hikaru didn't answer as she mulled over the question, "The katana is merely something that was created by a race I wiped out.. It is one of a kind and can physically cut through anything, become a medium to any magic, as well as remain as light as a feather. Or at least, that's what my friend has told me. As for the cross...."
Hikaru tossed it up and caught it once again, "It is the last part of what was once known as Erebus, the direct opposite to Heaven and the true Hell. It was wiped out by the Embodiment of Destruction and that is all that remains of it. I..." Hikaru trailed off, "no longer need such a thing. It was given to me by a former lover who is no longer around. I believe, but have not, or even had reason to test this theory, that it may hold the same properties and perhaps even a downsized version of the powers of Erebus. Do we have a trade?"
-
The scientist smiled knowingly, "That we do."
He held out the kantana with one hand and held out his out other hand waiting for the necklace. What she had told him was very interesting to him. This would ensure interesting experimentation for a long time to come. He waited for her to make the swap.
-
"I shall thank you then." At that Hikaru tossed the necklace at the man while at the same time as snatching the katana away. "However I'm not done with what I want to know. Now that negotiations are over, you seem to have information that's cause a few questions..." Flicking her hand, Hikaru made the katana disappear, then crossed her arms.
"For one,.. How are you a Phoenix? The race died out after I-," she immediately stopped herself before saying more, "after Era village was destroyed. What remained befoer Era Village was destroyed in the Phoenix and Genesis Dragon war. "
-
Hearing about the the war triggered something deep within Sliph, information leaked into his mind with a rapid migraine. He hid the pain best he could. It was fragmented and he learned under a second things he had searched eons for the answers to. His parents.. he knew they were Nobles, that fought in the first war, and... the died at the start of the second. He was born before this Era village existed, he now knew that much. He needed space to absorb what he just learned.
"I was born long before Era village came to be. Goodbye Hikaru. It was interesting meeting you." Said the emerald and onyx Phoenix before disappeared with the necklace... he need to think. His entire mind was ache from what he learned.
-
"So I see..." Hikaru was not at all surprised he had guessed her identity. Not with where she had slipped up. Once again her pride of her heritage had gotten the best of her. But that didn't matter. Another Phoenix? One before the village she had grown up in? Normally at this point Hikaru would insist on following the man and finding out more. But that could be left till later. She didn't need him turning on her and revealing she was back so soon. Besides, she got what her negotiations had been for, the katana was back in her hands. The rightful place it should be.
With that, the Hikaru in the room disappeared while the Hikaru that was still wandering the streets continued to listen for gossip and information.
-
Bumped, Celso would be able to retain balance but he dropped the PDA and it broke....darn thing. This was the seventh one he had gone through today, and later he would pay a visit to the makers of them and have one made that was more durable. Picking it up, he sent a pulse of m. into it to fix the screen and the glass on it which was really the only damaged portion of the thing. Sometimes AM fields could be very annoying...this Celso knew as a fact. But well, he looked at the guy who had bumped him and tried to put a name or a face to that business suit but could come up with nothing yet. Earlier he had heard from Hikaru even though he did not know it was her about some sort of one of a kind blade made out of a strange material....that was intriguing. But for now he would continue his work and so he emailed another supplier who happened to be on New Westhot an order for a couple of suits of armor so that he would have that. If the Anrufe wanted to bring war to him, then well he would oblige their request and return the volley.
"Stupid Anrufe. First Setus Prime and then what?"
-
"So I take it that means the Anrufe are still around?" Hikaru quite lterally poked Celso on the shoulder while questioning his former statement. It wasn't exactly the type of information she was keeping an ear out for, but all the less, it was still interesting. "Just how powerful are they now? And who if I may ask is their leader as of this time?"
-
"They've from what I've read in records kept by my people now have something similar to an embodiment with chaos....or at least skilled at manipulating it, one from the planet Elmora according to what Zane told me....and they also seem to be in possession of an AI that can control tech and is using Grunder Industries stuff or worse as well. So it seems they are pretty powerful, given that they just looted an entire home-world. "
Celso was at the end of his proverbial rope. The Neo Narrikians were crying out for vengeance and he would soon have to oblige their wishes. Before he would say any of that he would turn towards the person who had talked to him. "As for the leader, I assume it would not be Assassin....but who could it be? I don't really know much about the Anrufe yet."
-
"Hm.. so you don't know who the leader is?" Hikaru looked somewhat annoyed at that fact. Was it still her father? Or was it that idiot KiaB again? "Well, I guess that's fine." She glanced to Celso. He didn't look like all that much, and he was definitely weak, that part was obvious. But maybe she could use him...
"What if I told you I knew of a group that once went head to head with the Anrufe?"
-
"Well I would most certainly like to meet with the leader of the group, and would fund him/her putting the group back together...to take them down."
Celso would too since he did not have the power needed to do the job himself. The Anrufe needed to be stopped, and he was only one person. It meant that he could not do as much as he would like against the Anrufe...given that the Neo Narrikian Empire presently had no homeworld. This was a problem he planned to remedy and cause a solution to be made for. So as he looked at Hikaru he said. "I would also pay said person quite a bit to hunt and kill the Anrufe without mercy."
-
Hikaru silently smirked. All too easy.
"Well you see," she muttered casually. "The groups leader is currently without a a place to use as a base, or hell, even a meeting point. That leader owns no land and has very few ways to get such land. They would very much love to assist you and rebuild that group. But without any land it's near hopeless to converse in private... Now if you wanted to remedy that..." Hikaru trailed her words off slowly.
"I may have a plan to help you and that leader. You first would need a way to draw the Anrufe to you. "
-
"Well I am working on a way to eliminate their spatial superiority with the fact they have too many ships...but that is the work in the long run. How would I contact you when I put the plans into action to draw them to me?" asked Celso, noticing his watch beep. It told him that the stuff he had ordered scientists to make was finished, and he would need to be there to sign forms to authorize it's use by the people.
-
"Spike your magic signature up in signal;" Hikaru replied. "After that tell them you want to join them. Make up any random story of defeat and surrender if you must. Then when you're made a member, and have access to one of their bases, spike it once more. I'll alert that leader and we'll join you in taking over that base."
-
"Very well....."
With that, Celso would teleport away. For now he had a way to even up the score...and take the Anrufe down a peg or two.
-
When Celso had left, Hikaru returned to wandering around the crowds. She had sensed a familiar magic signature back when that scientist had been talking to her. Too preoccupied with trading for her katana back at the time, she had ignored it. But now... just who had it been? It was familiar to her, but at the same time, she couldn't recall just who it was. With all the magic signatures she'd been around throughout the years, the strength of this one was no different from a mere commoner mage's signature. This made it difficult to trace.
-
<<<Uplink Complete>>>
The man looking into the horizon snapped out of it, and shook his head. He looked around to get a feel for his surroundings. "Alright... Now where to start?" He muttered to himself.
-
Celso would appear back here, and begin looking for the person that had met him earlier. The plan had been a flop. The DAIS were something that would need to be dealt with if he was to join.
-
By the time Celso would have returned, Hikaru had grown bored of the wait and had strayed over to a cafe of sorts. Taking a seat at one of the tables she waited for the signal from Celso while keeping an ear out to anything said at the tables around her.
-
Celso would appear, and as instructed flare his signature. Not that he wanted to mind you, but it was the way she had said to reach her. The plan had flopped due to the DAIS Fleet being a problem. If those idiots had not got involved, the plan could have worked. Tired of waiting for the person, he would simply create a clone of himself and leave that behind and then teleport away.
-
With a snap of her fingers, Celso had been teleported to the seat across from Hikaru, as Hikaru say aimlessly skimming a menu. "You called?" She glanced to Celso. "That was rather fast. Care to join me for lunch?" Hikaru motioned to the table with a short laugh before rolling her eyes.
-
"The DAIS were able to thwart the plan..."
Celso's wrist watch would beep. But since he was sitting, he would ignore it. Picking up the other menu, Celso would tell her. "I'll accept the offer for lunch."
"The Dais happen to be a tech oriented group of the Anrufe, as far as I can tell...they are led by an AI of some sort..calls himself Delta."
-
"Delta is it? And by AI I assume you mean technological?" Hikaru read the menu as she questioned, "He shouldn't be too much of a problem then. Tell me... Has anything popped up to stop something known as Spirit Energy in say... the last eight years?" Her eyes glanced to Celso with somewhat of a curious look as she awaited an answer.
-
"Not sure what the energy is, but I would assume the answer would be no. I would hazard a guess that the Anrufe likely have something though in the works."
Due to past encounters, Celso was weary of the Anrufe to an extreme degree. Getting a message on his PDA which he pulled out and looked at, Celso scowled. Allen was dead and that meant more trouble. Now he would have to go through all the trouble of finding a new trusted advisor later on. Putting the PDA back in his pocket Celso would look over at Hikaru. "Also the AI seems to take a habit to destroying Narrikians like myself."
-
"Would you believe it ...?" Hikaru muttered continuing to glance at the menu as she completely ignored Celso's last statement. "The last time I ate, had to at least have been a thousand years. I believe the last instance was.... Well, before a certain tournament. The Excel Tournament to be exact. "
Hikaru laid down the menu and awaited for someone to take their order. "Just another difference between humans and...." Cutting her statement short, Hikaru quickly changed the topic, "Well that's unimportant... Anyways. If there's no defense against such it'll be a simple walk in the park to take down the Anrufe. You just need the proper training. The group I had spoken of had such training."
-
"I could definitely use the training."
Indeed Celso would enjoy the training as it would push him to all new heights. Plus there was other matters...if he could use this unique energy she was talking about wiping the floor with the Anrufe would be a piece of cake. A cake walk actually. When a waiter arrived, he took the orders of Celso and Hikaru. Once that had been done the PDA would beep again and Celso would pull it out. "New planet in the works...hmm. I'll send a clone to oversee that. " With that Celso would generate a clone which would teleport away immediately to do his bidding and would dissolve after seeing to the task.
-
Chaos, upon finishing up his business with Addler, decided it was time to catch some lunch. He had heard an... Interesting conversation a few tables over in the cafe. Maybe he was crazy, but he had sworn he heard his daughter's voice. He had a hologram taking care of the briefing going on at Ground Island, so there was no harm in... Investigating. Besides, he was craving a hamburger. Taking a seat where he'd clearly be visible to the robed person, he awaited their reaction as he gave the waitress his order.
-
"Well if you want that training, I suggest you accomplish that task I gave you." Hikaru gave the waiter her order and set the menu down promptly. "The leader of that group doesn't quite like weaklings. Consider it your initiation."
Though Hikaru saw Chaos, she gave no other reaction than to change her voice ever so slighty enough that it wouldn't be noticeable but at the same time would disguise her actual tone. "Unless you have a better suggestion to prove yourself." Hikaru scoffed beneath her breath.
-
Celso began to think up ideas in his head. Scenarios began to run in his mind. If he were to meet the leader of that group and learn that technique which could protect against AM possibly, but he was not sure...the odds might turn in their favor. So for now he would have to play by the rules of this benefactor and do as she said, for now but that did not mean he was her puppet. "Getting in without the DAIS intervening....wait. I have an idea of how I could do so."
-
"Then do so." Hikaru rolled her eyes and muttered.
Minutes later their food had arrived. For Hikaru, what looked like a common double cheese burger was placed in front of her. However where normally one would just pick up the burger to eat. Hikaru instead used her knife and fork to cut into smaller pieces and eat it like one would eat a steak, an obvious sign she was no mere commoner to anyone who cared to notice.
"And if you fail this time, we may as well find someone else." She speared a french fry on the end of her fork and ate it in such a formal way she stood out.
-
"The way we could get in would require putting their leader in some sort of danger."
As Celso would listen to her words, he would think. If he did indeed mess this plan of hers up it would be a sensible decision and a wise one at that to find someone else to use. Something he would do if the roles were reversed. So when his chicken milano arrived, Celso would slowly eat some of it and think of what to say next.
"And then out of the blue I show up, save the leader of the Anrufe and thus they let me join. You think that plan would work?"
-
As Chaos listened in on their conversation, he noted her obvious attempts to disguise herself, which seemed to fail. He knew his daughter, she was his own flesh and blood... But could this possibly be her? Chaos still was not entirely sure, but he kept watching. Kept listening. Hik- this person seemed to be... Different. Interesting.
-
"Not on your life." Another french fry was speared as Hikaru rolled her eyes. "If they're under the same leader as before, you don't stand a chance with that plan. You don't go after the leader, you go after the weakest link. And danger? You're thinking too direct." Her food gone, Hikaru pushed the empty plate away and then gave her hand one wave as the glass nearest her was magically filled with a strange golden wine. "Try finding something you have in common, or even offering them something they don't have. With your ideas you're going to get nowhere."
Keeping her voice low, and changed, even if someone had recognized her before so, it was changed to the extent that it would be completely different and unrecognizable. "By the way, I advise you to keep your voice down," Hikaru whispered under her breath to Celso. "Unless you care to meet one of the Anrufe today while they're listening to every one of your plans." She signaled with her eyes ever so slightly enough that Celso and only Celso would be able to pick it up.
-
Celso would whisper to Hikaru. But he would form wards around the area that would prevent the two of them's words from being heard by anyone else.
"Well there is one project the Anrufe might be interested in...but it has hit a kind of set back. Due to not having the proper DNA samples or information on the DNA samples required the project has been stalled. You are familiar with the race known as the Lorcar correct?"
-
OOC- oh my god hawk... We've already made it abundantly clear OOC that the Anrufe don't want it. Stop trying to use her.
-
(God dammit Lyoko. OOC topics are for OOC, just because everyones merrily running around and spamming up IC topics with OOC doesn't mean it looks good or it's right!)
Hikaru sighed. Obviously she had gotten one of the rather stupid ones. "Tell me... What are the Anrufe to you? You've dealt with them obviously. But in what ways...?"Pushing the glass of the golden looking wine forward, Hikaru motioned for Celso to drink it.
-
Celso would scan the wine for toxins/poisons/harmful enchantments and say to her. "Well, they took Setus right out from under my nose with a most dishonorable tactic. Courtesy of Zere, Delta the AI and Red Zero. So in a way I hate them. But I also envy them, for they have more power than I currently possess. And I know I will not be able to match them, not for a long time. Once a certain project is finished perhaps. " The Project Celso was referring to was that of the perfect super soldier and it was still under development and what not. It was a long ways from even being started actually due to a lot of research having to be done.
-
It was not hard for a sage such as Chaos to detect such a ward, and he knew that they knew who he was, and what he was doing. Without making a scene, he stood up calmly and carefully, reaching into his pocket and pulling his hood over his head. And then, three blocks away, there was screaming. A small explosion. Investigation would end up reporting much later that it was just a gas fire, but for now, people were racing towards the building to see what was going on. Emptying out the cafe and the surrounding area.
As soon as the people were gone, Chaos, silent and without saying a word, began to move ever so slowly towards the two.
-
"What the...?" Hikaru immediately jumped up and looked towards where the explosion was heard. Wasn't this supposed to be the peaceful planet? She didn't sense any magic signatures... So maybe it had just been a natural cause. Even then, it was highly suspicious timing... "Anyways..." Hikaru glanced down to Celso with such a look of superiority that he may as well have been a fly she was dealing with. "Drink." Hikaru once again motioned to the glass.
"Then impress me if you want that training."
-
Celso would take one more look at the wine, and after checking to make sure his protective methods worked...took a sip of the wine.
"Very well."
Celso knew full and well now from his signature Chaos had to be the leader of the Anrufe. So disabling the ward to block their voices, Celso would walk over to where Chaos was after getting out of his seat. "Hello Chaos, I would like to join the Anrufe."
-
"Move, kid."
Chaos was not worried about Celso, who he gently shoved out of the way as he walked towards the hooded figure, staring at him.. Or her.. Who was this figure, and how did they...? It didn't make any sense to Chaos, and he needed to know if he was going crazy or not. He could feel himself going insane, and he knew that something wasn't right. He had to know.
"Who are you?" he asked softly.
-
Tired of being ignored, Celso knew when to bide his time. And now he would not intervene. Later he would join the Anrufe, but for now he would remain silent and wait his time. So when he was shoved, he walked over to one of the tables and pulled out a communicator and whispered into it. "355028402840210. " This was the code to activate the immediate preparation of the new defenses the Neo Narrikian Empire had.
-
Hikaru glanced to Chaos when he had approached them but kept herself from laughing at his question, "Who I am is none of your concern." She turned to walk away, but maybe if you live long enough you'll get that answer."
Grabbing Celso by the shirt collar, Hikaru whispered something in his ear before quickly disappearing, "The wine I gave you is a telepathic connection. Use it when you have something to impress me with. Until you have such, don't bother contacting or I will positively kill you." With that she was gone.

Celso would nod at Hikaru, speechless of what she had done. The drink she had given him contained something to give him a telepathic connection to her. So Celso would casually walk over to the table and grab the golden colored jug of wine and open a portal after forming barriers around the jug to prevent any of it from being spilled he would send it to some of his scientists to examine. The scientists would try and research the properties of the liquid and in time make their own. But now was the time to deal with his Anrufe problem and so he approached the leader of the Anrufe, Chaos.
"Hello Chaos. "
-
"What. Do. You. Want?" Chaos demanded, angrily.
-
"Simply put, when I tried to join the Anrufe earlier...certain parties of yours interfered. I believe they were called the DAIS."
"But now, I've decided not to join. "
"However...so as to prevent the DAIS or other similar groups of yours from attacking I've decided to make a deal with you."
Celso would become quiet for a moment, thinking of something. "There are some schematics being worked on, and once they are completed the Anrufe will be sent the final product in exchange for two things. One is that you pull out your listening posts near Setus Prime and the WSA. The other favor I'll tell you about later."
-
"Afraid not," he responded, turning to leave, "We're done here."
-
"Very well then."
And with that Celso would disappear?into a mist of sorts which would be swallowed by a portal and he would be gone. This was a new form of travel he had just demonstrated, something he had been working on. Mist was something that could be used effectively.

Chaos didn't know why, but here, as he once more lowered the hood off his face, erupted into laughter, first calmly as a smile spread across his face, his knees dropping, bending so that his weight was thrown upon them. He dropped to the ground as his laughter began to steadily increase. This was... The perfect development, the truth of his ambition. The goals of the Anrufe were effective. Fear was spreading throughout the universe, galaxy by galaxy. And Chaos was controlling it all as it unfolded. This, surely, was power.
With a bright flash, he was gone. Off to rule... Everything.
