I don't like this. I like Perfect Weapons, but y'know. Overpowered and shit, needs heavy regulation.

I say event-specific, and temporary ownership to the right situation to the right member.

You all know my stance on them...As I posted in the topic, either event-only or no. Just my(and L-Rage's, it would seem) view, but still...He outright says that there is no way to get rid of the tree, and the only way to stop it from growing is to sing a specific song to it and water it at once(I would presume this song, as well, isn't something well known like Yankee Doodle or something).

Anyone else have any views on these?

Cap explained the weapons to me and said that there are ways to get rid of the tree beside that. However he wouldn't explain it because he didn't want to metagame and considered the fact if they were told OOC that it'd be metagaming.

The weapon's aren't powerful, they may have an effect from an embodiment force but come on, he made it where it's level based and limited it highly. It's not like he's taking control of the embodiment powers with them they're basically just a weapon enchanted with one effect of the embodiment forces. How the fuck is that overpowered? We've had worse than that many a time. If this is overpowered then there's a lot of Orph's tech and other peoples items that need to be looked at.

As for requesting them? Um, creators rights like how the Ingrounded and Subgrounded system has to go through Gaser and I. Or Cursed Weapons has to go through Hiro. You're going to honestly going to sit here and call these generic and possible for anyone to make without requesting AFTER calling them OP? Where's the logic in that? It's because they have to go through him that it's also limited much like the Ingrounded state.

Cap is not going to limit them just to friends and all, it's whoever has a damn good in-character story reason to find out and get one not just his characters not just people he likes characters, anyone that has a story. Personally I think you''re all being stupid regarding this request and trying to put it to events only.

May as well go through the board and mark A LOT of stuff approved as event only. Hell, go mark all my characters event only just because they're powerful. These are no more powerful than an enchanted object a lvl 6 is toting around. It's the power of the user that makes the weapon powerful.

Jeebus, what do you think?

From Cap:

Besides being specially designed to fight destruction, and being a weaponized version of that force, it uses that user magic so.

1. User magic level matters.

2. The effect is based on the force and has all the draw backs of that, unless that draw back has to do wityh destruction.

3. The only reason Nik was having problems with the tree was that each approach was a way that was just not a counter or a solution that could work… I tired to be nice about it, but there is only so much you can do.

All in all, think of the weapon as component for a spell to make the weaponized version of that force so you can cast the spell, so yes, guess what, the tree couldn’t grow in a AM field.

They seem fine, no worse than any other spell.

Guess that makes me the tie breaker. After talking to Cap, I'm okay with this, but I think there does need to be a condition.

It needs to somehow rope into a plot, like, the weapons are going to malfunction on everyone at some point or something. Something that makes it more than just for personal gain.
