Isaac looked around expectantly. "Well, this is rather less then pleasant." Isaac remarked nonchalantly as he tapped his leather booted foot, examining the room.
-
The big room that is.
-
Arachnid strayed over alongside a wall, within hearing distance, but away from pretty much everyone. Why was he here? He didn't know, didn't care. Arachnid just wanted to get over with it.
-
William sat still, and after a moment of dead silence, said in an annoyed tone, "So are we going to kick things into gear?"
-
The contestants were teleported here.
-
"I expect." Isaac said slowly, still gazing around the room. "That things are getting 'into gear' without us." He sat down on a comfy looking armchair that he magicked out of nowhere. "I expect that if we aren't fighting then we'll be waiting here so as to not figure out our opponent's skills and abilities." He said sagely, nodding and making his blue whisp eyes flicker.
-
Arachnid looked around the new area, trotting off and laying down on a sport near a wall he hoped was isolated. He was bored.
-
"At least that keeps things fair." The blue-eyed white-haired woman replied as she took a seat next to Issac and extended her hand, "The name's Gwyn by the way, and you?"
Kotah said nothing as he kept to himself watching the others with an intense focus a thing he was trained by the ASF to do. Never let down your guard and always keep silent around your opponents.
-
Isaac extended a pale, wrinkled, vieny hand from his robes and shook the woman's hand. "Its nice to meet you, Gwyn. My name is Isaac." His white smile eminated from the blackness of his hood. "So, what brought you all here to this magnificent arena?" He asked the room at large. "Lust for battle and excitement? Greed and curiousity for this mysterious prize?"
-
"Hunting vampires," William answered snidely.
-
"Vampires?" Isaac asked. "My you've got some spirit, fighting the beasts of the night." Isaac observed, moving out with his senses as he spoke. Magic flowed through his veins and he attempted to discern the species and mood of all the people in the room.
-
William smirked, "You have no idea."
-
"Oh. I think I might." Isaac said absentmindedly, noting that the young one he was talking to was... Oddly enough, a werewolf. What an odd cliche, werewolves fighting vampires... He shrugged, it wasn't his place to judge, after all, when you've lived as long as he had you learn a few things about hospitality.

Two shades, similar to the one that had signed the contract, sit on a bench together, one male, one female, but otherwise exactly the same.
-
Jack took a seat near the window and cocked his head slightly to get a view of the arena below them; he didn't know who the first two contestants were but he was interested. The first match would set the mood for the rest of the tournament and it'll give him some information about whatever fighters end up going before him.
-
The white haired human took a seat away from everyone else. He seemed to be lost in a book he had token out of his bag of scolls. The man seemed to be the scholarly type, not one for a tournament.
The black haired military uniformed man, seemed to stand at attention in the waiting area. As if he would do so until he match was ready.
-
Jack continued to stay in the back, and it was now due to his own caution. He wanted to remain completely unknown until his first match, but even then he'd only pull a few tricks from his sleeve. He had an urge to get this started; it was a hard lump in his chest that made the wait unbearable. That was only secondary to the sudden blood-lust he felt running through his veins. His pace quickened and his fingers tensed into fists, and with a quick moment of focus it was gone. Repressed by Jack's own will.

A screen flipped open from a wall panel, flashing on to reveal the current fight. Arachnid heard but didn't care to watch what was happening.
