Title: The Father's right.
Post by: Admiral Regis Hermitage on March 05, 2012, 10:54:29 PM
Mark Tepper burst into the Citadel. His face clearly expressed an immense amount of angry, but also grief. He forcefully walked through the main floor. "Where is he!!!!" he shouted to really no one in particular, but it would definitely get someone's attention. "Where is he!!!" he shouted again. It was forceful, and commanding, with a tinge of sadness.

And what do you want? A voice burned into Mark's mind, quite forcefully in response to him.

"My son!" He shouted back. "Where is my son!"

A calm light enveloped Mark as before him formed Halsey, as he was on the day he died. He had not yet been awoken in all of this time but now he was.
The Elder saw fit to bring him to life though he died

Mark stood in astonishment. His mouth dropped wide open as he now stood before his resurrected son. Halsey was only about 22, but he looked like he was in his early thirties due to the stress of his Administrator work in False Heaven. Halsey woke up screaming Eve's name when he suddenly looked around. "Oh my god, am i dead now?" he asked aloud, disregarding his father's presence, as some sort of a hallucination. "Oh, god. Oh, god.... Whats going to happen to my station!" he starts pacing.

"Son?" Mark asked while trying to get his attention, but to no avail.

"Heaven?" Halsey looks around and sees his father again. "No... Hell?" he looks back at his father. "Maybe." he starts pacing again. "Purgatory probably..." he said aloud to himself.

"Son, you're not dead.... er, um, any more." he tries to talk to Halsey again, but is brushed off once more. "What wrong with him?" he asks the Citadel.

He is precisely in the state he was when the Elder saved him.

"And what in the fuck kind of state was that? He was in the safest place in the goddamn plane!" he shouts back.

Halsey simply sits down looking at his feet wondering what had happened.

Tepper points to Halsey. "You see that? Thats not normal..."

Yes, because when a place is being destroyed from the inside out by an abomination of the universe it truly is safe isnt it.
The Citadel was being... Shockingly sarcastic. It was clear it had to keep dealing with people asking it for information... All of the time. It's life was so much simpler before the Elder had decided to allow people actually on Inarin.
Your son has become an anomaly in time and existence for he is both dead and not dead. He has a spirit in the spirit realm yet he also has one that is tied to this form. This is due to how the Elder revived him.
Suddenly, Halsey would have started hearing the voice of the Citadel
You are alive, you owe this to the Elder.

"False Heaven? Attacked? Thats a joke right?" Tepper asked.

Halsey perked up his head and looked around in confusion. "Alive? I was just being attacked by... by... that thing! Where are my staff? My station?"

They could both hear the Citadels voice now
False Heaven fell some years ago, in the midst of the battle the Elder saw fit to attempt to save your life, Halsey. The staff and the station are gone.

Tepper was going to speak up, but was immediately interrupted by Halsey. "How long...."

Halsey almost faints at the words. "Holy hell..." he says to himself. "Why bother reviving me then? I have nothing now... My station, my staff, my friends, my life... all gone."

Most of the Elder's actions are an enigma to me. If you no longer wish to live I can happily oblige.

He is indisposed, I shall send you however to the event at which he is residing.
With that both Halsey and Tepper were surrounded by a pleasant blue light and suddenly found them in the audience of the Excel tournament
