Jack appeared without a noise or any sort of warning; halting traffic on the busy New Tork road as he just stood there. Taking in all the noise and sights of Times Square, and this included the angry driver who go out of his car to try to move Jack on his own. Only to end up having is spine ripped out his throat; it didn't seem like Jack was in a very good mood. The murder instantly caused panic and everyone started running, but a few tried to fight Jack on their own. Not realizing that a pathetic human being wouldn't stand a chance, but there was a cop with them and they expected Jack to go "quietly" or something.
Before they even got within arms reach a pulse of energy rocketed from Jack's body. Shattered every window on every building around him, and it threw damn near every car as well. It was nothing much; just a small glimpse of power for this ignorant monkeys. It wasn't long before Jack disappeared from the Square, and reappeared at the tippy-top of the Empire State Building.
His face appeared on EVERY screen; it didn't matter if you were playing a gameboy. His face was on it. "As Herald to the unending Void; I lay claim to this world. If anyone has the power; please try and stop me." Jack announced with a bit of hesitation in his voice. He knew this would end up a bit of a genocide, but the Void's will be done.

The Mercs had taken to protecting their home in their years of living on the planet, and this was no exception. The Dark Heart teleported to the air above Manhattan, all of the Mercs on board, yet their weapons weren't charging, or really anything at all. It simply flew there, teleporting Hiro and Sara down first, then Johnny, Samantha, and Kiera next to back them up in case they needed it. All five of them wore their GR Armor they'd obtained from their dealings with the Archive years ago, Hiro's and Sara's specially modified from the norm. All of them had their weapons(or in Kiera's case, cloak) on them, however if this person were to even try to detect them he'd probably have something of a understanding why-The weapons(and cloak) were, of course, very much alive. Or at least sentient. And were bound to these mercenaries, which meant they simply couldn't be apart from them. A possible oddity of this, though, was the fact that none of the weapons were drawn. Hiro walked up to the man first, followed by his friends, and he asked,"Who would you be?"

"My name is Jack; I am the herald of the Void." He replied with simplicity as he studied the ship in the air and the weapons they carried. His right arm was still covered in human blood from the man he had mutilated not five minutes before, but he kept a polite smile on his face until they revealed their intent. His heart pounded in his chest as the rift suddenly surged with power; the dark essence of the Void creeping through his veins as it revealed it's purpose. The Void wanted this planet at all costs, and it wouldn't let some merry band of mercenaries stop it.
"I don't suggest trying to stop me; the combined power your group possess wont be enough." Jack warned as he the sky began to darken, but the sun was still in the sky. It was as if the light entering the atmosphere lost power and disappeared before it could reach the ground.
"I'm not the type who revels in needless killing, but I have my duties. Please flee or you'll die here." Jack muttered as the world grew darker by the second, and within a few minutes it would be as if day was night.

Hiro's helmet seemed to fold over, allowing him to scratch his head. "I dont have any intention of stopping ya. Not before I know whats going on. Other people have come here before, intending on adding it to their empire or whatever. Some of these groups were benign, others were harmful. You dont seem to be the latter, considering aside from that guy you haven't really hurt anyone. Because of that, I'd honestly rather talk with ya than fight. Learn why your here for Earth, who sent you, and, most importantly, how you'll treat the people living here."

"Earth will become the first colony of the Void. That is all I know, and all I will know until it's over." Jack shrugged as he looked over the edge of the building. "I was ordered specifically to take this planet, and destroy all opposition. I don't ask why, and even if I wanted I couldn't. The Void isn't a person, nor is it a thing. In your terms..you could call it a realm. It forged me within it's deepest heart and sent me to your dimension as it's Herald." Jack informed as he looked down at the people below.
"I'm sorry if I'm not much help; I'm more of a tool then I am a person. Most hammers don't have a personality or a mind of their own, but at least I was blessed with that." Jack turned to look at Hiro before once more shrugging.
"All I can tell you is that today you stand on the precipice of change; something about this dimension is off..and has attracted the attention of the Void. It's never a good thing to be in such a spotlight."

Hiro nodded, thinking somewhat of what the man said. "You certainly speak of the Void as though it were a person. Or, at the least, as though it has a personality itself. And you said that you have a mind of your own. How much pull do you think you'd have with this entity?" He asked, a idea in his mind forming. It'd depend on a few variables, but if all went well...He thought that he might be able to ensure Earth's safety, and get something out of it in the process. Well, he WAS a mercenary, morals aside...It just wouldn't do to not look to gain, if possible.

"It has goals, voice, and power..it is ruthless and holds no value towards life. Organic, energetic, or synthetic." Jack replied with a slight venom in his voice; as if Hiro had offended him in someway. "I hold no pull. Does your socks' opinion count towards your daily life?" Jack laughed suddenly as he tried explaining the Void. "I have nothing for you; now please tell me something yourself. Do you plan to stop me?" Jack asked with a glint in his eye; the Void's power was flowing through him and warping his mind. If these people decided to try and stop him; it would be as if the Void's will would overpower his mind, and he'd kill them without thought nor mercy.

"To be fair, my socks don't HAVE opinions to contribute. As far as I'm aware, you probably do. In any case...That's actually why I asked. If this Void does value your opinion in any way, shape, or form then I have a proposition for it that you might be able to convey or convince it of. I don't think you are the kind of person that enjoys killing. That's good. Since I figure the Void made your personality, as far as I should imagine it wouldn't enjoy killing either. It may not hold any value to them, but I don't think it would kill without cause. If you can promise the safety of Earth and her people, I not only won't try to fight you...I and my team could join with you. And don't spout off about 'far more powerful than you all combined' blah we here aaallllll the tiiiiime. Even if its true, we're still fairly well-known mercenaries around Kalak, even a bit in the other galaxies. We ARE strong, and we can help. Besides that, you'd probably need SOMEONE to show you around the galaxies, eh? This way, you'll have allies ready to assist you if you need it."

His eyes went coal black, and without warning the world went dark. No sun, no stars, and no power anywhere. "Not one drop of blood will spill." Jack said in a cold voice as the Earth regained power, but the world was panicking at their lack of stars.
"We are phasing into the Void now." He informed as he raised his finger into the sky; a pure white beam of energy shot from his index's fingertip. Hitting an invisible wall at the edge of the atmosphere it starts to spread and flatten into a gigantic paper thin sphere.
"Mid-point is marked. This will be unpleasant when it happens."

The issue is, none of that could of happened, period. So what really happened when Jack arrived on the island that used to be New york city, was he found himself in a health forest. At festival of about twenty locals, celebrating life, love, and happiness.
One of the group walked over to Jack and tried to hand him a flower with a smile.

"The plant has no use to me." Jack replied as he refused the flower and studied the native, and when he was satisfied that the native wouldn't post a threat he waited for them to blink.
As the nearest native blinked Jack was gone; this time he hovered hundreds of feet in the air above the forest. A strange heaviness filled the air as Jack prepared a spell, but that wasn't the alarming part. The world began to darken, and it was as if night was coming around the world.

The natives just shrugged and continued their festivities. Oddly, as the man tried to dark the world somehow, it was filled with a milky yellow light, as if the calm pleasant light of morning. The Light seemed to become a tick mist in the atmosphere, as if a blanket over the entire world. Whisper would ring around the man's ears as a number of Jaybirds landed on his shoulders chirping happily.
Something was strange, as the light filled the world Earth did not seem the same, as if it was no entirely corporeal anymore. Goggling sounded throughout the whole of the planet.

Jack was far from ignorant; he felt the shifting of power beneath his feet and knew that the Earth itself fought against his spell. Deciding to change tactics he reappeared in space. Outside of the Earth's direct influence.
This would require force, and he was prepared for that. Light began to slowly stop reaching Earth, and it was due to Jack intercepting it before it even reached the atmosphere. All he needed to do was cut off Earth from natural light and his spell first step would be completed.

The giggling rang out to Jack even in space, even without atmosphere that strange playful giggling could be heard. The moon itself seemed to be cloaked in the milky yellow light for a moment, before in one final flash, the whole of Earth just flat out disappeared. The Moon remained, however, it was now orbiting the sun, of its own accord, no longer a "Moon".
Odd was it, that the yellow light, was never in the sense of fighting against Jack's magic, it merely caused this odd disappearance of of the Earth.

OOC: Three day rule.
Earth was, gone. Where to who knows. However, There was a wave of spiritual energy after the teleportation, as if the Astral plane itself had opened up for a moment. While, yes the moon was on a safe coarse around the sun it was alone without its planet. Oddly this was responded by a half tired howl that resounded like someone barking "No"
Whatever it was, it had woken up. A strange red mist of energy surrounded the moon itself. A box of this red energy suddenly encased Jack, rippling around him with an odd spectrum of color.
