(The following is a story Logan gathered from a planet on the edge of our known universe. It is more of a mythological aspect instead of historic because almost everyone one from the galaxy was killed and this all took place 5,000 years ago. I'm sorry if this seems jumbled but I'm half awake typing this and not really in a good mood. Anyways, without further waiting.)
Over many years ago there was a galaxy in which the gods and demons waged battle. All was good in this galaxy, the people were united as one and they were very advance. There was simply no conflict at all, that is until the day it came. Out of the far reaches of the universe, beyond anything we know came a being of darkness. Many called him the Demon of Souls because when he got around he would warp the person's soul and twisted it. A great war broke out between the united empire as those inside it were twisted to evil. This demon was unopposed until the God heard there prayers.
Angered by what was happening the Goddess of Illusion, Teran began to fight back and protect the people with here illusion powers. At that time the Demon of Souls wasn't alone.
He created another demon, a demon known as the Demon of Bodies. This demon would take the dead's bodies and use them as puppets. Those who were twisted were said to be controlled by him.
After many encounters with the Goddess of Illusion the demons won. At a last ditched effort to protect a planet the goddess stood before the two demons. It was said that she was corrupted so much she was crazed and became a demon all in her own rights. Instead of returning to her home dimension she terrorized the people by warping there minds and invoking fear. They thought they were all doomed until one day the Goddess of Light arrived.
The Goddess of Light was beautiful many thought but she also was a brave and powerful warrior. Some said she had the abilty to purify the souls of others and revert them back to normal.
As the war continued on seeing that she was fighting all alone the Goddess decided to put the battle into the mortals' hands. The other gods and herself all worked together to create 7 weapons, each embedded with their powers. These weapons had a mastery of the elements and could also tap into the Goddess of Light's powers. These weapons could only be held by those who were pure, and those who were not pure could not hold them. It was a safety measure to ensure that the weapons wouldn't be used by the demons.
Even with the weapons of the gods many saw they were losing still. So the great and powerful leader decided that they would try to preserve the future by sending the weapons away.
Seven people took the weapons beyond the galaxy to hide them in case the demons would one day go there.
(Now my OC view of this. I wouldn't say Teran, the Goddess of Light, and the other gods to be actual gods to be exactly. They are in fact embodiments of their own right. But many people probably saw what they could as god like powers. I don't think Teran would still be considered an embodiment now that she has been warped and turned. But I'm not sure as of yet how she'll work.)
