Obviously my resignation was a bad idea. We've got an unruly member getting special treatment, and taking full advantage of it, we've got banned members coming back despite their permaban that they earned quite well, members are getting aggravated left and right and we're dying IC because no one is posting. I believe I can help with at least two of these notions, and so I would like my staff position back.

Interesting. Cause right before you posted this topic I told the other staff that I would give up my staff posistion to have you reinstated.

I request that Nisorin be reinstated as well, but not at the cost of K2. I think it is clear that we can use the extra staff. This is an emergency on many levels right now. If this site is too survive it must be in a state of emergency staff wise. Also I agree with Jack, we need more help dealing with requests because you guys are getting far behind. So I too would also be willing to help with requests if you choose to let members help.

I don't want anyone to step down. Right now Hikaru is in no position to fulfill her role as Admin, and personally I think she should take a bit off to get everything squared away, from the police to getting back home and learning to cope with the news.

That would be in the best interest for her. I think I agree with this. Those I would also like to point out that this is her choice. If she feels up to it great, we don't need to force her to take a break. I do think we should be discussing with her about her changing her ways as a staff member, but I think it can wait until she is ready to fulfill her staff duties.

I support Nisorin becoming an admin, but not at the cost of any members losing theirs. However, I also recommend that Zak be made a mod or Orga. Mainly to speed up the approval process. (We really need an online form as that would be better)

I admit it might speed up the process to include me but.... Well, thats the staff's decision. Im not going into that. I believe that Hikaru should.... well, take some leave. K2 and Nisorin are very sane members and I deeply would like to have them in the staff as admins in order to control the current situation which seems to be spiralling out of control.

Well, now that you're back that really solves all our issues. Sorry, Hik, but its as good a time as any for change to take place. Of course, its not as if the members can really do anything about that buuuut, the other staff seem to agree.

I didn't say that. Don't put words in my mouth. I SAID what exactly are the problems? I've been back a day and I have yet to see what you're all talking about. I see nothing different from when I left, yet you're all going on about major issues you don't specify.

I disagree with the situation going out of control. But I do think there are older problems that we need to sort out. The destruction topic, (I'm not saying you stole them.), gave us the change to point out a few things with you and K2. I think that change is needed for the both, K2 is a good admin but he seems to go easy on you because you guys are friends. (Not one hundred percent that's true but we've all seen it. You have number of times abused powers, and though in the end you admit you were wrong nothing else came of it. I want this issue resolved in a peaceful way. I don't think this has to turn out to be a major site problem, I just think this should be addressed out in the open for once where all of us can see what is happening instead of backroom politics.

I believe there are a few main issues. Firstly was you, Hik, being gone in California. I know that's was worrying about your sanity, the staff may or may not, I don't know.
Second is the other staff situation which involved inactive staff members as well as your previous abuses of power and current situations such as the magisterial.
Third would be a lot of IC inactivity.

There's the issue regarding Cap and Treena, the inability of the current staff to keep up with approvals when it really isn't that difficult a thing to do, the fact that, honestly, you should take at least a break from your staff duties while you deal with all the things going on with you right now, and finally, the In Character inactivity. Honestly, something needs to be done and the current staff are NOT doing anything about it. They may be talking about it, but talking doesn't bring about change. Only action does.
