Near the planet of Arcanis III, the DAIS Alpha, a Matrix Battleship, came into the moon's orbit. They would obviously be sighted from anyone on the ground due to its sheer size (Asia). The ship sat there and proceeded to run a quick scan.

Miamore Cadenchi was back at Arcanis III for a few business matters that had to be done and to restock and reevaluate the weaponry aboard all her ships. Shimmering Dawn was in the process of being re armed with new shells and having a few dents in the armour repaired from a few moments of heavy fighting that it had went through in its excursions into space. As such, Miamore was taking command of the rest of the fleet from Umbra, one of the Scythe Class Heavy Battlecruisers that were part of the fleet and when she got the transmission from planetside saying that there was an unknown ship in orbit around the moon, she flew into action, activating the massive Rapture cannons that dominated both sides of the ship. She quickly activated the comms systems on Umbra and contacted the mysterious ship.
<Unknown Battleship, this is Admiral Miamore Cadenchi of the 3rd Vionix Combat Fleet, Identify yourself and your purpose and no Hostilities will be shown unless you attack first>
And now was the wait for a hopeful reply, if the reply wasn't given then... the Admiral's hand hovered near the shield activation rune on the command console.... hostile action would have to be taken.

Miamore looked over the fleet that was before them and thought about the odds of success against them. With Shimmering Dawn in the docks and only 4 battleships then they may have a problem trying to fight this unseen race.
<DAIS vessel Alpha, what do you mean by "uncatalogued"? And how will you go about doing so? I will not have any of my peoples taken nor tested upon for your so called cataloging>
She looked over her console screen pensively as she awaited a response from the battleship. Who knows, they might be friendly... She thought lightly, trying to turn a possibly grim situation into a slightly better one.

Miamore thought over the other vessel's request for quite a few moments, her hands clasped behind her back as she done so. It was about two minutes later that she finally looked back up at the main view screen and told the comms officer to send a transmission back.
<As long as no hostilities are made then I will allow you to catalog our race and empire but we do it our way, just ask questions at what you wish to know and we will tell you as best we can. Is this understood?>
