Title: Old school party RPG discussion
Post by: Kalorph_ on May 24, 2012, 09:55:30 PM
I'm thinking that we get an old school text based RPG going; fantasy based and we need a party to do this. Warriors, rogues, and clerics. That sort of thing. I'm down to be the DM if you guys wanna be the party; I'll be controlling the NPCs and events.

...I'm sorry, I think I misheard you. Did you mean DnD? Becuase if you mean DnD I am so fucking down for this! If not then, eh. I'd need more information.

Something like it, but I doubt everyone wants to do the whole character sheet thing. I'll be creating obstacles and plot events to both hinder the party and create epic moments. It'll be more free free-form than anything.

This is relevant to my interests, since I doubt I have the time to learn DnD in it's entirety and fill out a character sheet properly.

Mmmm, yeah okay. I guess I could get into that. I'm guessing you'll wait till you're sure there'll be more than two people joining before you post up any limitations or blah?

I'll go with the classic bard with crappy stats so he'll fail all of his rolls in hilarious, humorous ways. Comedy Relief is the best.
