A brilliant display could be seen in the night sky of Violet as a purple wave of energy literally was spit forth, the opening of an FTL vortex. From it came a frigate belonging to Galactic, Inc. -- the notorious media, phone, and internet providing conglomerate. The company had rapidly been expanding in recent years, and had profited considerably by joining the weapons business during the war that had followed the destruction of False Heaven.

A transmission was sent to the planet below.

This is a Galactic, Inc. frigate requesting direct communication with the central leadership of the planet in regards to opening negotiations for a weapon's building contract. Please respond.

The response was swift, and came in the form of a transmission from the Mechera's own Flagship, the First Battalion.

[We regret to inform you that you are currently within a restricted area. While the Mechera Empire is not closed to such dealings, recent events have caused us to completely close off Violet for the time being. If you still desire to negotiate about this weapons contract, please inquire at the planet Frezzi.]
