With magic still mysteriously gone, things are rather chaotic in the galaxy right now. However; you have received an invitation to have some fun and leave the chaos behind! Board the new luxury StarCruise Liner "DreamShip Sunshine" and sail across the stars for a fun-filled event where memories will be made!

I'm going to guess the entire plot right here, right now.
1 A bunch of people arrive at the ship.
2 festivities begin, but a sinister conspiracy begins to unravel behind the scenes!
3 Something big happens with someone's character and they crash the party.
4 Fighting ensues!
5 Something really big happens, changing the entire plane of existence as we know it!
6 The ship/space station/Whatever the location is changed to after stuff happens is going to be destroyed somehow, taking as many characters with it as possible, leaving behind a thought provoking plot point but nevertheless proved to be much like many other events.

Seems to be a common trend.

Did you know?
These events also act as a chance for YOUR CHARACTERS to play a major role in the plot. It is not the staffs fault if users dont step up with what they do, the last event did prove that a member like Cap can infact basically fuck the whole event- The staff didnt plan that.
Guys I know they seem samey but they are important and they're a good chance for you all to play strong roles in the plot.

I know. I put one of my characters into the center of the action last year, and I totally agree with what you're saying Jeebs. What I was playing at was when it did go to plan the main characters driving the story were still staff owned (eg, the main pusher in the Plex event I'd say was Chaos (or Anarchy, I cant remember which one was which)). It's not a problem, it's just something I've noticed.

You both have a point, actually, though I see problems with each. While Nik is right, that occurred mostly because the members didn't take as much action/didn't think the Staff would actually accede the main role. Jeebus presents the opposite end of the Spectrum in which the player did take action, though it in many ways ended up too MUCH and completely hijacked the event entirely(which I personally dont approve of, but Im not going to prevent if you're completely determined to).

What I mean more is, we tend to have plans for this sort of stuff but we want you to shake things up a bit! Don't just roll with whats going on, do your own thing! Thats basically the only reason Jay got important at all in the plot(Would like to point out, I wasnt staff at the time).

You guys are acting too timid.
I controlled the plot for practically a season just because I wanted to, all it takes is actually DOING the plot. Fuck whoever says differently. You have just as much say as anyone else on the site.
