As a result of the recent destruction of Karu, a wave of debris was hurling towards the planet, likely to cause massive damage, perhaps even destruction, to the planet, and likely to wipe out much of the life on the planet itself. Remnants of Anrufe ACID nanites were among the debris, and a few were still active.

The planet was completely destroyed, wiped out from the collision, sending shock waves throughout the neighboring solar systems. There was one more planet near by in the danger zone, and the debris from Reversal and Karu was now hurling towards it... After that, the debris would likely be unable to hit another significant target.
