Denial Field:
The Vionix research and Development were sick of how ineffectual most AM fields were and the fact that they could easily be stopped by AAM fields that other races utilised. Using a few captured Anrufe to experiment with souls and see how they ticked, the Vionix have came up with a device that would almost be counted as evil to magical races. They named it the Denial Field although it doesn't just deny magic, it forces the magic to rebel against the user of it. This tech, when activated creates a field relative to the amount of power flooded into it and as such it can be small enough to completely restrain one individual or an entire army depending on the power source. When magic is used in the field however, the mage will not only lose control of it completely before it is formed but the magic will reverse "polarity", basically the purpose and reason for the magic, and then attack the mage that used it, forcing itself back at its source with full power. When this happens, the user of the magic will suddenly feel their spell attack not just themselves but exactly where the magic came from, whether that be a soul or their own body and harm it. This field is also unable to be felt while in effect because it doesn't restrain or block magic, it changes it. It also only works when magic is used in its radius, it will NOT block a spell from use if it enters the field from outside and physical attacks can still be used inside of it but not magical attacks or any spell at all without having it bounce back at its user and attack them instead.
