The Anrufe valued their relationship with the Zarethians, despite the shaky pasts. They had been taking steps to reaffirm their relationship with the empire after nearly going to war with them several times. Chaos himself had met with the empire's leaders on New Westhot sometime ago, and things were looking up.
As an act of good faith in the interest of their alliance, the Anrufe opted to send the Zarethians a gift now -- a gift their other allies also had. Heavily encrypted to prevent it from being used by... Unauthorized parties, a package arrived on an Anrufe cargo ship. Understanding the Zarethians might be... Hesitant to accept this package in fear of another change in Anrufe tactics, the cargo ship sent out a small message to the orbital space station.
