O U T E R V E R S E
The Vacation House

Stop.

A bright light surrounded the likes of Chal and Cole as they suddenly appeared in what was... Well. Evidently, a log cabin. The room was quaint, decorated with a woman's touch, lighted only by the great outdoors, through a few windows which sat quietly on the walls. Where were they? Neither had seen this place before.

"What... What the hell was that?" Cole asked. Chal silently considered the possibilities as he walked towards one of the open windows, trying to figure out just where they were. Through the glass, he could see an expanse of green grass, the valleys of the Outerverse. He had been here a few times, and recognized the place almost instantly.

"We're in the Outerverse," Chal revealed.

"The whaterverse?" Cole asked, confused.

"You mean to tell me that you are the grandson of K2323, and a Tyris at that, yet you don't know of the Outerverse?"

"I... Uh..."

Chal sighed. "The Outerverse is a dimensional core... You do know what... Dimensional cores are, right? The giant center that dimensions on each charge rotate. The power source. But this is the outer part of the Outerverse, of course... The part that generates energy is further down, underground."

"O-oh. Right."

Cole did remember, vaguely, learning of Dimensional Cores during his Dimensions Class, but he hadn't been paying much attention to the Royal Tudor. His lessons were quite a bore, and he often wished he had more kids -- besides his sister -- to play with. Of course, he'd outgrown that, but he still got... Lonely.

"So this place," Cole replied, "Is one of those... Dimensional cores?"

"Right," Chal replied, "Your grandfather protects it, though from what I hear your uncle Fiske has been taking care of things here lately. He's got a nice place here... Does he live here?"

"Nah," Cole replied, "Uncle Fiske lives in the palace in K City. But... He does go on vacations sometimes. I guess this is where he comes."

Appearing near the two now was K2323, with the bag headed man swung over his shoulder. Setting the man down on a couch, he glanced over to the two, eyes full of concern. He needed information. These two had information. They had to act quick.

"You," he said first, glancing at Chal, "Quickly."

K2323 needed to say no more. Over the last eight years that the two had been training together in the Genesis Kingdom, Chal had learned to understand K2323 in few words. He quickly thought of where to begin with his explanation, but he was having a hard time putting things together himself.

"Uh," he replied, "We arrived. Hikaru and Chaos were fighting. She threatens him. He responds. She... Uh... The one with the cloak, I mean... Kills him. Like, out of nowhere, fire... I think she used... Plane shifting, but I'm not sure. I think it was Decide Fire. That's the one that burns the... Spirit, right?"

"Right. And my mother?" K2323 replied.

"She tried to save him and got caught in the fire."

"I see."

"Sorry, m-"

"Now's not the time," K2323 replied, "Next. You. Cole. What're you doing here?"

"The Genesis King sent us on a mission," Cole replied.

"Mokai?" K2323 asked.

"No," Chal replied, "It was the first King... But, it was like... He wasn't really there. Like it was a hologram or something."

"I... See," K2323 replied, "Does this mission involve finding the Keepers?"

"Yeah," Cole replied.

"I think my sister just murdered them all... Zere, Hikaru, and the Genesis King are all that's left. Chal, you find Zere. Cole... I can't bring you with me. It's too dangerous. Stay here with this guy," he said, indicating the Bag Headed Man, "You'll be safe here. If you need me, use telepathy to contact me."

"U-uh," Cole replied, "Telepathy?"

"What's my son been teaching you?" K2323 groaned, "Just... Focus on my magic signature and use magic to send your thought through it."

"R-right," Cole replied.

"Alright. Be back soon."

And with that, Chal disappeared, and K2323 shortly after him. Leaving the teenager, Cole, with the guy who's head was covered by a bag and who was in a coma. Curious, Cole contemplated trying to remove the bag over his head. Finally getting up the curious, he attempted to do so...

With a loud resounding explosion, Hikaru appeared within a mere second after K2323 had left, falling to the floor of the house rather roughly. At the same time as her spell to re-merge the two had been cast, Ingrounded!Hikaru had teleported the both of them to where she had sensed the others had gone in order to escape the attack of Existence. However, without her soul, and the Ingrounded Hikaru, the Hikaru that remained, the complete one, was still without magic.

"Where is my brother...?" Hikaru groaned as she pulled herself to standing, all the while searching the room with her eyes to have some idea as to where she had ended up. As her counterparts memories were now her own, she knew where she had wanted to go, the place where her brothers signature had been sensed. But now as she looked, she did not see K2323. Only a kid and what looked to be  the bag-headed man from before, only knocked out.

She looked at the kid was the only one awake as she asked this.

Nothing happened. As the Kid tried to remove the bag, his hands simply passed through the Man's bag(which currently displayed no face), and the head underneath(if there even was one). However, in a start the Man jumped up, moving through the Kid's arm as though he weren't there. His paper bag immediately gained a poorly-drawn face, grimicing in some apparent pain. He tried to wave the Kid's arm out from him, but passed through him, then tried just moving out of the Kid's space. "Gluh...Dont do that. Im made of Raw Chaos, you dont wanna know what happens to you mortals when you get even a small dose. Where...Are we? And..." He said, about to ask something else but seeing the Pink-Hair. "You...Do you even VAGUELY realize what the hell you've done? What you've started...?"

"Agh!" he shouted at the Bag Head Man, jumping out of the way. "AGH!" he shouted once more once he noticed Hikaru, backing further out of the way and preparing to hide behind the couch. "H-how did you know how to get here!? How did you-?"

He listened to the Bag Headed Man's words before speaking again. "Grandpa's searching for you, actually. I don't know where he went. Back to South, I guess."

Hikaru simply smirked to the bag-headed-man's accusation, "Do I honestly look like I--" she paused, her expression changed. "It was not me I did not want to kill him i-" Another pause. "It just simply had to be done. He was growing annoying just like that brat Keith. Now we can end him as well before Anarchy comes back. Problem solv- NOT problem solved," Hikaru quickly corrected herself her expression changing once more  "There are three others with the power of Revelations. Kurai would not help you if her life depended on it and my... sons. If you can make it to them you can still do your pl- But then again, why try? Just kill him!"

With a quick turn to Cole, Hikaru sighed, "So my brother is not here? Very well then, I shall wait. I have no interest in returning to Hell." With that she took a seat on the couch.

"Uh.. That's fine," he said, bowing to Hikaru, "I'm sorry, it's just..."

He moved from his hiding place behind the couch, sitting cross-legged on the floor between the two couches, glancing back and forth at the two. "You're my aunt, then, right? My great aunt. I've read a lot about you in my history books. They say you and my grandpa were two of the greatest sages around, right? How did you do it?"

"Sorry, not partial to suicide. My existence is tied to Keith not just living, but remaining him. 'Just kill him' isn't a option for me...Plus, killing him before Anarchy comes back is easier said than done. And 'that brat Keith' was trying to help you, ya ungrateful pyromaniac. He places more value on family and kin than you could probably comprehend. To the OTHER Pink-Hair apparently in there, I thank you for your advice and your concern.  Do you know where I might find your children, in that case?"

"Other?" Hikaru looked back at him with a genuinely confused expression on her face. "There is only me. The last time I saw the brats was eight years ago before I left the dimensions. So I have no idea as to where they could be now." She chose to ignore the rest of what they had  said and instead glanced back to Cole, "You! Boy! I require a change of clothes. That bastard demon general destroyed mine.. and I am currently without magic."

"Clothes?" Cole asked, blushing, "Uh... What.... Size... Clothing?"

The Outerverse, meanwhile, seemed to be reacting weird at the moment to everything going on. Hikaru, though no longer the owner of the Outerverse, had been once for a very long time. And the Outerverse, well, it was like a puppy dog. And what do puppies do when they reunite with their former master?

Appearing on the coffee table between the two couches were a full set of clothing, all in Hikaru's sizes. What clothing was it? The same clothing she had been wearing the first time she came to the Outerverse.

Hikaru glanced at the table with an eyebrow raised in skepticism, "This will do fine.. Though I preferred the other outfit," she muttered before picking up the clothes and glancing back to Cole. "Changing room?"

Cole shrugged, looking down. "This is my first time in the Outerverse, Auntie Hikaru. Please don't get too cross with me, I just can't seem to do anything right... You're not going to turn me into a monkey, are you? That's what you did to Uncle Kai, right? Grandpa says you turned him into a monkey one time. I'm sure you can find a changing room down the hall?"

"A monkey?" Hikaru scoffed without memory of such a spell, "Where the hell did my brother come up with that one? I have turned Kai into many things. But as far as I can remember, a monkey was not one of them. Oh! And does 'I have no magic right now,' mean anything to you? There was NOT a house last time I was in the Outerverse. I forbid it." With that, she went off to find a bathroom.

"Uh... Okay," he replied, in silent defeat as he stood up, walking towards the kitchen. He glared over at the Bag Headed man as he opened the fridge, tossing through it. "I'd offer you something to drink, but I have a feeling you don't exactly... Drink... Anything."

He pulled out two glasses, closing the fridge behind him as he made his way to the kitchen table, placing one glass on the table for Hikaru and taking the other with him as he walked around, admiring the house. He tapped his glass on the side, and a K Empire beverage filled up inside it.

Hikaru had just changed clothes and had walked back out into the hallway when she mysteriously vanished without a word...

"What... What just happened?" Cole asked, blinking. "This day has been REALLY strange."

Everything was falling apart. Chal knew three things. One, the dead had returned to life. Two, they were attacking everything. Three... There was something very, very strange going on in the midsts of the Anrufe. Chal had to get out of there. However; he couldn't just abandon Cole.

Appearing before the Bag Headed Man and Cole, Chal spit out quickly, "No time to explain. We've got to run. Let's go."

And then, he and Cole were gone.
