Title: Lets start the show
Post by: Admiral Regis Hermitage on September 04, 2012, 06:23:02 AM
"Do it..." Antonio commands. He looks around the compound at the remnants of his command staff. South was gone, but he was not out. He had a great prize from it all. A bright light was formed, as Hikaru was summoned to him. "We meet once more Ms. Tyris..."

Hikaru appeared out of nowhere without a word. One glance around the room, and to Antonio himself and it told her all she needed to know. With a sigh of annoyance, she looked to him with a glare, "Just when I managed to obtain a change of clothes too." Her words gave humor but there was no joking in her tone. This was not a laughing matter. "So I do not suppose you have called me here to return my soul to me... have you?"

He chuckles. "No, no, Ms. Tyris, you had your chance for that." he said. With a snap of his fingers, Hikaru would find herself paralyzed, but able to talk. "I've brought you here, because you are going to help me with what i want." Antonio said as he slowly approached her. When he came face to face with her, his eyes narrowed. He walked around her, then stopped at her left side, slowly went up to her ear, and screamed. "YOU HAD ONE FUCKING JOB YOU MISERABLE CUNT!" he yelled as loud as he could.

"ONE FUCKING JOB!" He yelled again.

Gritting her teeth Hikaru would have winced if she could have, "Perhaps you do not understand.." Her tone held no expression as she would give him no satisfaction of being in charge. She had become all to accustomed to dealing with people like this as of late and though it annoyed her she sighed and continued on.  "The deal you made was to my counterpart who was at the time Ingrounded, a state of contradiction. Any request you asked of her held a price. Just as we tried to tell both Lucifer and you, any use of magic or abilities while Ingrounded results in even more contradictions. The more contradictions the more chance that Existence itself will interfere just to destroy the 'bugs in the system,' so to speak. Destroying someone or even fighting them is a definite redflag. We tried to tell you this and you did not listen. The destruction of Hell was inevitable the moment you asked that of her. Besides..."

Hikaru's tone now carried a flair of sarcasm as she taunted, "You made the deal with my counterpart who is no longer around. Or maybe I am no longer around and it is she who remains. Either way, you made it with one of us, not both of us. And thus only one of us was under contract."

Antonio quickly backhanded her across the face. "Dont give me any of your bullshit. She is you, and you are her... You are the same in my eyes, and are therefore accountable for eachother's actions." he snapped.

"Give me one good reason why i shouldnt make your life a living hell!" he shouts at her.

The force of the hit would only serve to knock Hikaru's hair into her eyes as she glared, in result making her look all the more threatening. "Oh I do not know," She snarled in sarcasm, "How about everything I had said just before my last point? Or are you so stupid you can only hear one thing in a list of many? I guess I can expect no less from someone with such a low position after all!"  Even when at a disadvantage, Hikaru was not the type to just take it. Having been captured several times already, she had grown well accustomed to such things and had learned to give her enemy no satisfaction and only complete defiance.

"As I said, we warned you. All that happened was inevitable from the moment, she- I, signed. But you will not listen to reason because you are a coward and refuse to! Striking someone when they cannot strike back. The fact that you felt the need to paralyze me before even coming near me is a sign of that." She smirked in the hope that eventually she would strike a nerved. "Tell me. Are all generals of Hell as cowardly as you? Oh, that is right! Hell no longer exists!"

"Do not mistake my cautiousness for cowardice, Ms. Tyris..." he said. "Im fully aware of your capabilities without your magic." he added. He eyed her down once more, and struck her again with another backhand, and again, and again.

"If i were you, i'd stop being a defiant little cunt, and cooperate. Otherwise, you may not like the alternative." he says as he draws his blade and examines it. "You know, i liked my old one better." he says and punches her in the stomach in anger. His face was calm, but his eyes were fiery with rage.

Continuing to give no expression when hit, Hikaru merely gave a skeptic laugh, "Cautiousness? Cautiousness would only be in the case that you were only speaking with me. The fact that you strike when I have no way to defend myself is what makes you a coward. So call it what you will, in the end it does not change what you are!"

Through the force of the last blow, Hikaru had lost her balance and now fell forward onto the floor with a clatter as the sheathed katana that hung at her side fell out of the sheath and onto the floor in front of her. "So sorry.." She muttered in mid choke from the floor, "But being royalty and all that.. it tends to give you an air of grandeur. If you want someone to beg for mercy and obey your every whim, then you never should have chose one of the Sage Three...

Antonio levitates her back to her standing position. Antonio examines her once more. "You know, I am a master of unconventional warfare, Ms. Tyris. One of the tactic with in unconventional warfare is shock and awe.... more notably in this situation, would be the treatment of POWs." he states. "Since you wish to be so defiant with me, you must want a war... and it is a war you shall have."

He turns to his demons who remained attentive and ready to act. "My staff are very dedicated to my cause, and will execute any order i put unto them..." he continued. "This is your last chance to redeem yourself, Ms. Tyris, or should i start calling you princess?" He said as he simply kicked the katana away towards one of his Colonels.

"Hmph, try Queen." Hikaru rolled her eyes. "With the death of my mother, that leaves my brothers and I the remaining royalty of the Phoenix Kingdom along with our status as the Sage Three.. And since I am the Eldest, that makes me Queen. In light of that, you honestly think I will stand here and follow your every command? Even when at a disadvantage? I THINK NOT!"

At that moment the katana which was glowing a mysterious blue-white and floating right behind Antonio, having teleported, slashed right for the neck of him.

"I have my pride."

"Commander!" a demon immediately yelled out when the sword teleported out of his sight. Antonio rolled out of the way, as several bodygaurds came to his defense, weapons drawn.

"Looks like you've still got your touch, Ms. Tyris." Antonio commented to her. "You're fast.... but im faster." he snaps his fingers, and she would be tossed at the blade.

"Im im going to fight, you're going to be my weapon..."
Title: Re: Lets start the show
Post by: Queen Bright on September 08, 2012, 10:18:52 AM
The very moment she had been tossed, both Hikaru and the katana fell to the ground as she dropped her control over the blade, the bright glow around it disappearing as it clattered to the ground beside her.\

"Clever.." Hikaru gave a short laugh, "However you overlooked one thing. If you kill me, even with my own attack, you lose any advantage you have. As you should already know, when a sage dies their soul is merged with their spirit even if the soul is destroyed, the magic would then become part of the spirit.. Why do you think your little master Lucifer did not just kill me and my brothers right away in Hell? If he did, I would have had ALL my magic with no chance for you to take it. And since Hell is now gone.. killing me would do nothing for you. But killing you would do everything for me."

"I dont know if i should take that as a complement Ms. Tyris." he replied. "But for now..." he snapped his fingers. She would become unresponsive, her mind would go blank, and she would be trapped in her own thoughts for the time being. Unaware of anything or anyone. A metaphorical prisoner in her now comatose-like state.

"and get that fucking blade out of here.... figure out what it is, and use it." he orders. A team of his followers did so immediately. "I need to have a little chat with an old associate. I assume you know what to do with her, Colonel?" he asks. His subordinate nods in understanding. "Otherwise, good work. When i come back, i want details, data, and something to see." he shouted. The remaining demons gave a spirited war-cry, and saluted.

A ripple in time and space. K2323 appeared, a harsh gleam in his eye as he observed the scene. His sister appeared to be in a comatose state, and here... Wherever here was.... Was the remnants of the followers who had once served Radical. He'd hoped he wouldn't have to deal with them, but to get to his sister, it seemed he'd need to do just that.

"Release my fool of a sister now," he growled, "Or face the consequences."

"Ha, and why would I do that?" Antonio shouted to him. "What good would it serve you to have her released?"
Title: Re: Lets start the show
Post by: K2 on September 15, 2012, 04:39:29 PM
"Well," K2323 replied, "I won't completely destroy you if you let her go. We're not in South anymore. It's fair game now. And I think it's time to collect on a bargain that has been in the works since long before you got to where you're standing. So... How are we going to play this?"

His Genesis Staff appeared in his hand as a white aura surrounded him, his eyes narrowed onto Antonio as his magic signature raised a hundred fold. It was time to finish this. It was time to finish what had started two decades ago. It was time. To end the games.

His eyes turned a violent red hue. He stretched his hands out in front of him, and from his palms, a smoke began to exit his pores, continuing outwards towards Antonio so that the smoke formed two poles from each of his hands. The two poles began to wrap around each other, until, before long, a dragon made of smoke was flying straight towards Antonio.

As K2's dragon formed, so did Antonio's... except his was made of Godfire. It would clash with the Dragon of smoke, as several squads leaped to Antonio's defense. "Still not giving me much of an option here Kaleb... you really need to work on sweetening the deal." Antonio said mockingly.

His eyes became black, and wings burst from his back tearing his suit. He smiled, showing his razor sharp teeth. "With her power, i feel like a new man." he yelled aloud. Demons began to charge towards Kaleb and his beast with all they had.

"Let's play."

It was time for K2323 to show how much he had grown over the last eight years, training in the Genesis Kingdom.  He had finally grown to meet the level that his ancestors had been at. It had taken him thousands of years, but he was there. Now, it was time for the test of all his hard work and training.

Genesis staff still in his hands, K2323 watched the demons surging towards him. Tapping his staff lightly on the ground, a huge white glow spread out towards the demons, designed to push them out of the way with an incredible force that would likely send them flying through the walls. As the white glow cleared, Antonio would find a white dragon (Western style, like a serpent of sorts with no wings) with red scales and golden eyes coming right towards him.

As all this went down, a barrier formed around Hikaru to protect her from the fight.

K2323 HAD grown. Eight years ago, he had not yet even mastered the ability to shape-shift into his true dragon form. Yet, now, here he was, coming right towards Antonio.

"How do I get rid of it?!"

"I'm afraid you can't." "But really, you can't,"

As Hikaru lay there unresponsive, her mind had found itself lost in a flood of her own thoughts. The moment she found she could no longer register what was going around her, she knew something had happened. Lucky for her the fact she could even think meant whatever he had done did not result in making her unconscious and for the most part did not seem like a true coma. This meant it had to have been something he had done with her soul that had caused this. The question was... Was it continuous? A spell controlled to keep it in check or a programmed spell left to be possibly broken?

At this point, with no magic and only her spirit energy left to her, Hikaru was unable to decipher the mans exact method which left her with only one choice; Try everything in the book until something worked. Unfortunately there weren't many immediate things she could try which left the Sage searching her own mind for every spell she head learned, memory she had experienced, and information she had gained throughout her long lived life in an attempt for just some small sliver of an escape. Anything that would help her break free of the current predicament she found herself in.

Eventually for what could have felt like days as she had no concept of time in this state, Hikaru had come across one very specific memory that she had, in an attempt to forget it, repressed down to the deepest depths of her mind.

It had taken place on as ship...
It was just after she had been released by the Aralangs and had went after Kurai in an attempt to free Koty and her brother from the Virus. The Virus had recognized her as its master and turned against Kurai, when those idiotic Aralang Leaders had showed up to take their revenge on Kurai. But that was irrelevant.

It was what Kurai had said after that, that had resulted in a fight with one of the leaders, Gaserlake, and had caused her to abandon all emotions and infect even the Sages and her own children. But that too was irrelevant...

Pushing the rest of the memories aside, Hikaru focused her thoughts on trying to bring up the part of the memory she needed, closer. It was harder to remember without magic. With magic she could simply snap her fingers and recall anything, but without, it was fuzzy.. And if she hadn't been lost within her thoughts and away from the outside influence of sounds, it would have been nearly impossible to dig this far into her subconscious.

She knew this memory held what she needed as she could feel it, but at the same time due to the contents of the memory, it was one Hikaru had forcefully attempted not to recognize before and thus made it even more difficult. Finally, after clearing all the rest of her thoughts to the back of her mind, Hikaru was able to just focus on that particular part of the memory.

The relevant part, the actual topic of the conversation that Kurai had brought up. It was something the Aralangs had done to her, no, something Kurai had claimed they had given to her, a type of power not of magic... Something only they had....

"It connects to your spirit, soul, mind, and body, basically," "It's fastened to you."

That was no good. It was too far. The later line of the memory flooded back to her as Hikaru pushed it aside and concentrated her focus on recalling what had been before it. She needed to know the beginning. She needed to know what it was...

"It's a type of technological energy."  "It makes you stronger, and faster, and makes you heal faster. Of course, you can control it with just will. Why did I do this? The Plex Virus was inside of you and we had to get it out."

That was it! Hikaru's thoughts went back to the start of the memory, running her mind through it and replaying it over and over.  Of course in the memory her response had been a demand of how to get rid of it and in response to that why she could not, that's where the former memories had come from and she had learned it was attached to the Spirit, connected to it... Just like her... SOUL!

Control it with just will

just will

will...

Immediately Hikaru's thoughts focused and the entire memory flooded back to her, the entire conversation and the events surrounding it, and even more so the parts about the energy, and the line that struck out the most, WILL! This technological abomination that had been forced upon her was no different than just artificial magic. It was controlled through her will and tied to her Spirit, in the same way as her Soul!

This meant, she could probably... No she could DEFINITELY use it to block the connection between her soul and her spirit for the time being enough to put a stop to whatever spell or magical effect he had used. And if the Aralang leaders words had been true, it should work as her Phoenix blood abilities did and work to heal her and bring her senses back if she willed it to. But... Hikaru's thoughts paused. It was technology.. If she did this she would doing exactly what that fool Gaserlake had tried to trick her into doing so many times.. relying on technology to save herself.

Mentally shaking her head, Hikaru dismissed the though thought against it. At this point it was her only seen hope and besides, after merging with her counterpart, unwillingly, all of her memories had flooded back to her, though hard to recall without magic, she could remember having used technology far more times than she would like to admit to. With that forced on her conscience, there was no way she could afford to be against it when it was her last option now. Survival fell under higher priorities than her own feelings.

Her mind set, Hikaru pushed away the memory before her and and all other memories and focused on sensing this 'Elite Energy' as it was called that she had refused to acknowledge she had had for so long and willing it to block the connection between the tie her soul had on her spirit while at the same time, willing it to heal her mind of the effect as well.

...Would it work? Blocking the connection would, that she knew. But for healing herself she could only hope the effect he had used was merely a spell or a forced pseudo-coma signal to her mind.

With a large flash of fire, a barrier went up to block the dragon approaching him. "Nice try!" he yelled out. With one hand lifted, he clenched his fists as undead warriors made from the deceased below them rose from their shallow graves. Along with them, was the skeleton of yet another dragon.

"Quite a show, Mr. Tyris! Quite a show!" he called once again. His demons quickly recovered as they regrouped into an assault formation towards K2. By this time he noticed Hikaru becoming more and more responsive... it seems she found her way out of it. Antonio clenched his teeth, and gripped his weapon tighter as he and his force maintained attack from K2.

He noticed that next to him, one of his Colonels had come to assist. He was focused, and growling with determination. "Colonel." Antonio called him. "Fall back, and regroup at RZ, Omega. On your mark." he said.

"Mark." the Colonel replied.

"Sync." they both said simultaneously. In a swift motion, Antonio disappeared, as another lower General took his place. "Rally Omega." the Colonel informs him. The General nods.

When the wall of fire barrier rose up, K2323 retreated back to the other side of the room, shifting back into his humanoid form. He watched as Antonio rose his small army, all crammed tight into the room. He noticed the dragon among the army, but smirked. A dragon against a dragon sage. How interesting the fight would be.

But when Antonio disappeared, K2323 growled, yelling out, "I DON'T THINK SO!"

Grabbing onto his magic signature, K2323 teleported away with Antonio. The barrier would remain around Hikaru for her protection against the army.

OOC: Soooo where to now, Lyoko? :)

Just as they had disappeared Hikaru had regained her awareness and sat up quickly in alert, her eyes immediately going to the barrier as she stood up slowly. Noting the area she realized to her relief Lucifer's former lapdog was no longer there. But what did that mean for her? Had her solution truly worked and the Elite Energy shielding her from any more effects? Or had the spell effect merely wore off? And just how long had she been out anyways? Further questions filled Hikaru's mind as she examined the barrier before noticing she was not alone. There were still demons.

"I suppose it is time to put what that Aralang fool had said to the test.." Hikaru mumbled to herself as she walked through the barrier, her eyes on remainder of the demons within the room, "You! Demon! Tell me where my soul is and I may let you live. Fail to do so, and you will find out that even without magic a member of the Sage Three are not to be messed with."

"Long live the unholy Commander." One of the demons shouted. Several of them began to converge on her, as another squad tried to blitz from the rear. Letting off a loud battle cry, the dragon also turned his attention towards her.

Noticing the dragon but choosing to ignore it for now, Hikaru jumped out of the way of the oncoming demons, landing on the other side of the room. "Not as good as my magic, but I suppose for now it will do..." She glared as she pointed to the one that had spoken. "You realize, you are actual demons yet your 'commander' is a mere human who was sent to Hell like so many before him but became Luciffers lapdog. However, thanks to what has transpired, Hell is no longer around. And Lucifer is long gone as well as his rule.. So WHY praytell, do you choose to continue to still serve a weak human?"

"He is far more powerful than you give him credit for..." the Demon responded. "You, however, are weak." he said in disgust.

"Major..." one demon called.

The Demon addressing Hikaru nodded. "Looks like you're going to miss the performance." he said with a grin. The Demons disappeared in mass, as per Antonio's orders, to their rally point.

"Hmph! If I had my magic, that demon would be eating those words about now..." Hikaru growled as she sighed exasperatingly, pausing her anger long enough to take a look around the room and figure out some idea as to where she was. If she was going to get her soul back, first she would have to find a way out of this place, and without knowing where exactly 'here' was, even teleporting through spirit energy would be dangerous as she did not know the distance it would take.

And then, there was the other thing that demon had said. Performance? "Just what are they planning..."

It was a large square room with a tall ceiling. It had a single doorway which led to another part of the complex. The Barracks, and living areas. Another door within that room led to an armory, now empty. No windows were visible, so the determination of whether or not this was on a planet is uncertain.
Title: Re: Lets start the show
Post by: Queen Bright on October 01, 2012, 11:48:16 PM
After she had wandered through the entire area and still had not managed to find even one way out, Hikaru sighed and leaned against the nearest wall. Now what? Wait until they returned and fool that man, playing along until she had the chance to steal her soul back? In this case, manipulation may work, but what if they never return? After all, he had her soul and access to all of the magic she knew...  why would he even need her? For all Hikaru knew, they could have just left her there to never be found.

Immediately fear got the best of her as Hikaru realized just what that meant. If it was true and they never came back, there was no way she would be found... Without magic signature to trace, no one knew she was there. Hell, besides immediate family and that brat Jay, no even knew she had returned. She had been gone for eight years or so she had been informed, and dragged to Hell the moment she had came back.

Slowly, Hikaru dropped to her knees from where she was standing as she continued to realize just what predicament she was in. Besides her brother, that Incarnation Keith, that Jay brat, and her parents who were now dead, no one else knew she was back. Anyone who could have possibly gone looking for her would have given up years ago when she failed to return for eight years. She would be stranded here... stranded for who even knew how long!

"Oh please, is this really what I have amounted to? A paranoid loser of no magic?"

"Wha.." Hikaru quickly stood back up and glanced about the room she was in. "Who said that..." The voiced sounded like her own, but she couldn't be sure, magic could be used to trick her after all.

"In your mind, moron..."

"Stop with the insults!" Hikaru snapped aloud before the 'voice' could continue.

"Whatever, only you can hear me... Anyways! Until you actually go and accept we are  the same, this is the result of remerging. Our spirits are one, but our minds are still split. Call it... "

"A form of split personality." Hikaru finished, as she shook her head a little, "Great, I have now gone insane. Could things get any worse?"

"It is your own fault. Your part of our spirit and my part of our spirit fought for control when merging, it ended up splitting us further than just memory and spirit. Our knowledge was as well, which explains why you are not so sharp on picking up the obvious at the moment. Like now! Fear of being alone? Really? They will obviously return. He may have our soul, but he does not have the knowledge of how to use its magic."

"Right... He could simply learn through experience..."

"Thousands of years worth?  Whatever he is using it for, he will eventually hit a block to what he can learn through experience and will need us to teach its capabilities. The incantations, the spells, the rituals, all of our magical knowledge is the one thing he DOES NOT have. It is little more than useless to him."

"Whatever.. Is there a reason you decide to reveal all this now? I knew that, but he should know I will not reveal any of it, so it still leaves us without a way out of here. And though I may be conceited, I still do not desire to talk to only myself forever. It would grow rather dull.."

"There you go, being slow again. Really now? Use the spiritual connection we have to our soul to find him! Because it is spiritual we will not waste as much energy teleporting to the location."

"But I blocked the connection! If I unblock it I will be under his power again. And I do not know if the effect from before was a continuous spell or not. If it was, I would be back in the same predicament as before I blocked it."

"And if that happened, we would only need to reblock it. Besides, I highly doubt it was aimed to be continuous. If it was, there would have been more of a fight to blocking it than there was. The Elite Energy however, blocked it rather easily. We just need to unblock it long enough to trace the connection and teleport. Even if was continuous and we fall under the same effect, we will have at least left this place and gotten closer to where our soul is. Then it would just be a matter of reblocking the connection..."

"..." After arguing with herself for what felt like hours but was a mere few minutes, Hikaru had a plan, but at the same time she was still unsure. "If the same effect happened, we would be completely powerless between it happening and reblocking it. We do not know where it is or who it is with. Whether it is that man, the demons, or someone else... Wherever we would appear, in that time frame, we would be open to attack..."

"Would you rather stay here and wait for years for them to return with only yourself to talk to? Who knows.. maybe after the first few years, you would accept we are the same and then you would not even have yourself left."

"Fine..." Hikaru sighed as she walked to the center of the room. "You- I am right. Whatever happens, happens. It still gets us- me closer to getting my soul back." With that, Hikaru closer her eyes and focused, willing the Elite Energy to temporarily drop the block it had formed on the connection, while at the same time she was forming a teleportation spell out of spirit energy, that way the moment the block dropped, and the trace she received from the connection to her soul was revealed, she would be teleported to the location of her soul, wherever it was held...

Her teleportation would fail... her soul was in the realm of New Dementia, which forbade anybody from entering unless the proper spell/ritual was performed, or they were brought by someone who did, The only reason K2 was allowed to enter was because the realm recognized K2's arrival as being brought by Antonio.

She would be brought to a dark, depressing planet that held the Demented Monastery, but also held odd traits, and dangerous creature. In the vast planet, she might as well be back in the room.
