Throughout the area concealed with the False Imagery Technology among other means of cloaking were Rio Troopers. They were preparing for the arrival of someone very important who led the Fire Storm Academy because of the mission he had been sent on by Lucien. The services of the K Empire were needed to reach some of the territories of the Anrufe and to level them from within. The Rio Troopers all looked like normal K Empire citizens, just had strange cell phone like devices. The Rio Troopers gathered in a square of the K Empire where a lot of commercial activity happened. Each of them was apprehensive as they had never met someone in power before. Finally the ship containing Adrian who was clad in the T-1 Phoenix armor arrived in the space near the K City. The ship sent out a transmission asking for permission to dock but it was one the K Empire had never seen before.
This ship was one of the new experimental Fold Class ships. The VE on each ship activated, putting up dozens of fire walls and what not to keep out any K-Empire viruses or attempts at hacking from outside sources so they could not be that easily hijacked. Lucien had learned from his past mistake, and had programmed the VE to do so on the start-up of each ship. Finally the ship waited as it had an assignment to descend and deposit several payloads of Rio-Troopers here to set up a large machine that could allow a direct attack from land on their enemies.
"May we land?"

A transmission was sent back to the ship. It gave them specific docking instructions and told them to land in the Government District in Bay 5 of the K Tower.

The ship which was of course a Super Capital did as instructed landing in that area. On board the ship, Adrian anxiously waited. For he had to get the permission of the K Empire to build a massive tower like structure they had received the blueprints for from an anonymous ally. Once he got the permission, the COL machine could be built here. Rio Troopers along with K Empire Personnel could then strike the Anrufe directly on the ground at Citadel and hammer them there. The Aerial and other defenses could be ignored but claiming the soil was going to be hard. It was easier than an aerial assault though. The ship did send an acknowledgement transmission.

Of course, the K Empire had assumed that the ship they would send to dock would be a smaller, transport fighter, not a ship that was bigger that the city itself. So when the Super Capital tried to land inside a building in the city, obviously the K Empire quickly send an angry transmission:
STOP, STOP, STOP! WE MEANT FOR YOU TO DOCK YOUR TRANSPORT!

The crew of the ship retreated and searched the ship. The only transport they had was a Legalus Fighter, a single one. The Legalus Fighters were one person vessels unfortunately. Of course given the extra equipment and fire power they had on board there was no reason for them to need more than one pilot especially given the VE the ship possessed. So a Legalus Fighter exited the ship a single one, with the weapons offline. However the ship did have tons of fire-walls. It was going to take the K Empire computer technicians a century to crack the codes and access the files. The Fighter sent out a transmission to the K-Empire.
Sorry about that. Our pilots are VE and we are still working on the coding of them so they have a tendency to take things a bit too literally. The sense of humor has not been installed in the new computer programs that pilot the ships.

A less angry response about building costs and flight zones and diplomacy was sent back, but alas, the K Empire did not press the issue. A diplomatic team awaited the arrival of the Legalus Fighter at the K Tower in Bay 5. They had no idea what the Narrikians wanted this time. Last time, they had tried to use subversion to go against the government's will and recruit civilians in a war the government was not interested in. Needless to say, the K Empire was not the happiest with the Narrikians right now.

Adrian once he existed the ship handed them schematics. ?We have commenced operations as of now to purge the group known as the Anrufe from the universe. Already part of our forces have struck critical blows on one of their worlds so as to remove them as a threat. However, in order to finish the attack we need you to build a replica of what is on the machine. For once it is positioned here at this strategic point we can send scores more of Rio Troopers to attack the planet. Were it not for the ability of the Anrufe to turn our AM Fields back on us, we might have an easier time of winning this battle. So are you in or are you not? The next location on our hit list is Setus Prime. Unfortunately however, getting inside there is going to be rather difficult. "

Glaring at the schematics, the lead diplomat seemed confused. "What does this machine do? And why does it need to be placed here?"

"Basically think of it as a massive door, a gateway between worlds. And why, because it would be suicide for the Anrufe ships to get through your black hole. Also, reports just came to me that a successful strike has been done. All Anrufe personnel sans one on Citadel have been wiped out. The entire world was a casualty of the war, but they have been wiped out there. Technology and everything. Oh and also, Lucien wishes to make a deal with a few of your tech experts to help work on the VE to improve them for their next assignment so they are more intelligent and more stable." As Adrian said this he looked at his watch. "Yep, it should be on the Galactic News soon of what was just done to the Anrufe. How many ships can the K-Empire field to strike at Walape? The goal is destruction of all Anrufe territories. We'll divide up the survivors later, but our current operation involves Total Destruction. "

"Y-y-you... Actually succeeded?" the diplomat asked, pure shock in his voice, "You... Destroyed Citadel? Congratulations are in order, my friend! The emperor will want to meet with you at once! And yes, yes, of course, we will be honored to assist you... I will take these blueprints straight down to DOTRAD immediately. Mitchell, lead our guest to the palace. Inform the emperor along your way that you shall be coming."
There was a lot of work to be done. As the lead diplomat took off to take the blueprints to technology experts in the Defense Division Of Technological Research And Development For Defensive Purposes, otherwise known as DOTRAD, the diplomat named Mitchell led Adrian out of the docking bay and down a hall to a door clearly labeled, "2". Opening the door, the two entered another docking bay, where a fleet of small transport vehicles, capable of carrying about eight passengers, sat, offline.
"This way, Mr... I apologize, I don't believe I caught your name," Mitchell said.

"The name is Adrian Xilas, acting governor of the New Narrikian Empire. Since Empty was busy sitting on his laurels and not doing a darn thing about the Anrufe, even though I am human Lucien and I both planned out a fool proof battle plan to level Citadel. Getting in to Setus Prime and doing the same thing will require more resources than we now possess. Of course given that you are now joining in the assault it should be rather easier for us. The introduction to the new Academy was so you could help out with the Attack BEFORE we went to such lengths?.sure it cost us a rare ship but it was well worth it. At least the Anrufe will be shorter staffed from this point forward anyway." Adrian looked at him along the way and then pulled out something and handed it to the person accompanying him. "You may want to connect this to your systems. It is a command link, allowing us to share information faster and more securely than current transmissions allow. It has several VE inside of it made to delete intruding programs. The Authorization Code is 25038502358205820bDeta. Can you remember that?" When they arrived at the room, Adrian looked at the vehicles. "Hmm. Some of those might be interesting for Lucien to study later on once this war has been resolved. Right now we can't push forward until we liberate a certain member of the Anrufe from the grasp of the others, Kenny Zero. Since he is related to the Emperor Ken Atlas, who for a time was the caretaker of Lucien attacking him is forbidden by Lucien unless there is no other alternative unfortunately. "

"I see," he replied, taking the Comm Link, "Yeah, got it. 25038502358205820bDeta. I got this job because I've got an expert memory. Lucky me, huh? In any case, I'm sure the emperor will hear your plight with more interest this time. We were very devoted to helping at the Wind Storm Academy, and after it's failures, we were more reluctant to help out with Fire Storm. However; this changes everything."
They had arrived at one of the vehicles now. Tapping its access door on the vehicle's side lightly, the door opened upwards with a swooshing noise. The inside would appear to be, for all intensive purposes, a limo, with a small door on the wall that divided the driver's side from the back. Opening the door once inside, Mitchell entered the front of the transport, closing the door behind him, but not before informing Adrian, "Help yourself to some champagne or wine! We'll be at the palace in about ten minutes."
Closing the door, from that point forward, Mitchell and Adrian would not be able to communicate. Mitchell did not put the Comm Link in, figuring it would be better suited for use by another K Empire personnel who might need to contact Adrian. The hatch door to the transport closed automatically, and the transport's engines came online almost silently.

Adrian had sworn off wine, at least until the mission was done. For the Anrufe were going to be made extinct and so he did not help him-self but rather pulled out his own comm-link and connected it to a transmitter he had on his person and talked with Lucien for a few minutes. After that he hung up, pocketed the Comm-Link and checked to make sure he had the essentials on his person. The wavering blade he carried and the T-1 Phoenix System were still operational and in his possession. Good, when he met with the Emperor he was going to keep his weapons on him at all times just to be on the safe side of matters. When they finally arrived, Adrian stepped out but not before sliding on a False Imagery Generator or FIG for short which made his clothes appear to be a tuxedo. The wavering blade and other weapons he carried was also hidden by this.

Adrian would be led towards the emperor's office when sensors picked up his weaponry. You could fool the mind, but you couldn't fool technology. Realizing that Adrian was hiding technology, the K Royal Guard immediately surrounded him, weapons drawn and pointed right in his face as one of them barked, "HANDS WHERE WE CAN SEE THEM. RIGHT FUCKING NOW. GET ON YOUR MOTHERFUCKING KNEES."

Adrian did not get on his knees, but pushed a button disabling the illusion. "It is standard protocol for acting Governor of the New Narrikian Empire to never surrender his weapon in any situation. My weapon is something you could not find in any but one Empire currently. Of course I have been expertly trained in it's use. Besides, what are the odds I could handle one of you without an AM Field to back me up? I have no capabilities like you all, so I am at a disadvantage here without my armaments." After saying that, Adrian got on his knees, but not sure for what.

When Adrian did not immediately get on his knees, and instead reached down, the guards decided to shoot first and ask questions later. Each and every one of them squeezed their triggers, unleashing a hailstorm of bullets that didn't stop for nearly thirty seconds. Long enough for each to reload more than once.

However it was a good thing Adrian was wearing another piece of Lucien?s technology, a Force Field belt. The bullets clanked to the gro8und harmlessly before he got on his knees. Adrian then looked at them and said while on his knees after a few moments. "You know, the bullets.. you use. They are impossible to use against technology like Lucien had given me to use for the diplomacy purposes here. I'll admit, the sword I carry is not one of his inventions. But one of the empires he allied with provided it for me, and provided the Fire Storm Academy. Since they did both, I cannot afford to relinquish said weapon to anyone."

"QUIET DOWN!" the guard yelled, attempting to smack Adrian with the butt of his gun, "SUBVERSION WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. DECEPTION WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. DISOBEYING THE EMPEROR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. DISOBEYING THE EMPEROR'S MEN WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. If you don't want to make an enemy out of your people, I highly suggest you cooperate."

Adrian decided to take a leap of faith as it were and so unbuckled the Wavering Blade after activating the Tamper Lock circuitry that Lucien had added to it. This was done with every bit of technology that he had on his person save the Animite. There was no way he was going to lose that, it was a sign of their victory on Citadel. "There. Everything is gone except one item which you can clearly see is old Star-Clan technology that was purloined by the Anrufe, but then later liberated in the raid on Citadel recently."

Grabbing Adrian's hand, the guard pulled a needle out of his pocket -- it was a shot of some kind. What it contained? Who knew. However; Adrian would be wise not to resist. He had been caught not only trying to bring weapons into the emperor's presence, but trying to HIDE the weapons as well. Needless to say, the guards were on alert.
"Hold still," the guard ordered.

Adrian did indeed remain still, but he was not sure what he needed to remain still for. Shots scared him, but he could brave it just this once. Of course if he died, it was tantamount to a declaration of war from the K Empire and he had already left his will with Lucien so that if he died Lucien became Governor of the New Narrikian Empire and owner of the Fire Storm Academy. Of course the people here did not know he had done such contingencies of course for obvious reasons. While Adrian did not possess the fancy reality manipulating capabilities other people such as Lucien or the people here had, he was skilled with a blade. Adrian did not bother speaking.

The guard injected Adrian with the shot. It served two purposes. One, it injected a liquid into Adrian's bloodstream that would force his body to shut down temporarily -- basically, it would make him unconscious for a few hours, like a sedative of sorts. Two, it injected a shielded tracker in Adrian's blood -- one which would be very hard to detect, and even harder to remove.
Even if the tracker were somehow removed the liquid sedative would leave behind distinct markers in Adrian's bloodstream that could be traced.

Adrian passed out but the moment he did a certain defense Lucien had teams of people put on the animite activated and the animate, plus the wavering blade and all his equipment vanished in a flash of light, but where the equipment vanished to, no one knew but Lucien. Adrian had not been kept in the loop in that regard. So Adrian was slumbering on, unaware of the world around him now.

Adrian would be beamed into a secure prison cell with various barriers around it, as well as your basic AM fields, AT fields, AP fields, and so on. His technology -- and clothes -- would be stripped from him. He would find his cell, located in a K Empire ship, fairly barren, containing only a bed and a small toilet, and monitored at all times.

Adrian made no attempt to escape or anything just remained there. A lawyer arrived at the K-Empire the next day to bail Adrian out, and Lucien came in person this time with a squad of Rio Troopers. Of course Lucien carried no weapon on his person or anywhere near him. The Rio Troopers on the other hand? They were armed a plenty. Lucien was going to be the one who bailed out Adrian so he could continue to take care of the Academy. When Lucien arrived, he docked his ship after going through customs. "Where might I find someone named Adrian Xilas? I have to bail him out of one of your jails...so he can go back to his job." This was the real Lucien. In addition to the Rio Troopers, he had a couple of VE-Shinobi units with him just in the off chance they were going to be needed.

They would find that the K Empire's court system was quite different than many cultures. They would not allow bail to be posted. When Lucien and the Rio Troopers arrived, there was nobody in the docking bay to greet them, but a message did blast into their ears through the loud speakers.
"Have your men disable their weapons immediately or you will be arrested and charged."

Lucien also had on his person the rules of the Fire Storm Academy that had been written not by Adrian, but by some of the men of the Vionix. One of those rules related to the current predicament that Adrian was in and that rule had been suggested by Lucien in part due to the Wind Storm Academy. The rule related to weapons and said that no one with a rank of above student was ever allowed to surrender their weaponry. Lucien nodded to the men who disabled their weapons which were mostly blasters at their side. One of them had a Powered Weapon in their hands, but that one opened a portal and tossed it in. "So you will not allow bail for Adrian? Not even according to this document which are the rules he is bound by as leader of the Fire Storm Academy as appointed by the Vionix no less?" The document was clear and concise and stated that the officers of the Academy could never surrender their weaponry on penalty of death if they ever did surrender their weaponry. All the soldiers and Lucien were unarmed.

The voice replied, "Evidence cataloged. Testimony accepted. You have been selected as a witness for court. Estimated court date is unavailable. It would be wise to make any necessary decisions now. While you await the court date, you, as a witness, will be cut off from communicating with the outside world to avoid tainting of the judicial process. Please make final preparations now. Your guards will be allowed to enter your ship and return home unharmed, provided that they leave their weapons in our care."

Lucien looked at the guards for a moment and then pulled out a comm link and whispered into it something in ancient narrikian, something the K-Empire personnel could not possibly understand, but it was for a VE at his house to activate the Damocles Contigency that was in case of his death or disappearance and that of Adrian as well. The guards did as bidden, but all most of them had were blasters. The Rio Trooper Tech still took the form of cell phones and had never been seen before, or even analyzed so the K-Empire did not know it was a weapon of course. The soldiers then asked Lucien a question to which he merely nodded and then Lucien said to them. "Very well, I shall remain here without contact from the outside world. However Adrian has violated the rule in the hand book, by surrendering his weapon. Given his participation in operation Liberation I am prone to let him survive, but will have to contact the Vionix after the trial. Also since I will be out of the loop for a considerable period of time...." Lucien then made a hand gesture as well to the VE-Shinobi units. They knew what to do now. Lucien pulled out his ear piece and his communicator and his galaxy phone and crushed all three with the heel of his boot so he could not be contacted. Later he was going to have to arrange alternative transport to his home.

Nothing would happen until after the soldiers had departed and Lucien was all that remained. Then, a slow bunker alarm would start to go off, one typically only found in nuclear silos. AM, AT, and AP fields rose around the docking bay, as well as barriers. Guards with very large weapons busted into the room, pointing them at Lucien.
"On your knees," one ordered, "Hands where we can see them."

Lucien immediately got on his knees and put his hands where they could see them. Unlike Adrian he had not been considered stupid. No weapons whatsoever existed on his person, nor did any communications gear as he had destroyed all of that. Of course AM Fields could not restrain him as he did not use any ability the field known as AM could actually block. Of course the people who were around him with gear pointed at him did not happen to know this fact unfortunately.

A tall, African man walked into the docking bay. This man was wearing a full suit of armor, and his blue eyes were locked on Lucien. So, this was the infamous warrior from the stars, was it? Lucien, the prince of one of the greatest warriors among the stars. Heir to the legacy of the great Narrikians. Hah.
"They say you are a king among your people. Some king. Your people are divided. The half you claim to lead have nearly been destroyed by the likes of the Anrufe. The other half? You allow it to continue under the rule of a foreigner to your people. Yet, still, you claim to be the rightful heir to your throne."
The man took a few steps towards Lucien, glaring at him intently.
"My name is Carhmichael. I hail from a region of Earth named Africa. Eight and a half years ago, a strange alien came to my world and offered me a choice. I could come with him and be apart of his empire, or I could remain in my blissful ignorance on Earth, trying to survive against all odds. He took me in, and taught me marvelous things, and here I am before you today.
"So, why do I bother explaining this to you? Because I come to you, like that man came to me, and offer you a choice. Join us. Join the efforts of the K Empire. Together, our peoples will bring the Anrufe to their knees. We will gather an army so large that even the Nyx would tremble at the sight of it. On that day, when we taste victory, you will leave behind your people. You will leave behind the Narrikians and, for four years, you shall serve us in payment for our assistance. We shall teach you the skills you will need to take back your empire someday."
Carhmichael shrugged. "Oh, and we'll let your friend Adrian off with a warning."

Lucien paused and considered the offer. 4 years was not long and Lucien could wait. Claiming the throne becoming true Emperor and removing Empty would require he be trained. Of course leaving the Narrikians behind would be difficult. Adrian might need to keep an eye on them for him during the 4 years and retain constant communication about the goings on. What Lucien was not going to permit did indeed happen to be another series of edicts like those that Thel had forced upon the Narrikians. Finally coming to his decision Lucien said. "I shall accept the offer. I do need the skills to lead...to become proper emperor of the Narrikians. So train me so that I can become the Emperor. Four years I shall serve the K Empire after this. Once the service is over then and only then will I lay claim to the Neo Narrikian Empire. " Lucien was not honestly impressed with his own skills. His own skills that had led to millions dying.

Carhmichael nodded gruffly, turning to one of the guards surrounding him, before turning to face Lucien once more. It had been settled. Now came the K Empire's true task. Eliminate the Anrufe once and for all. Destroy their precious base. Achieve victory once and for all.
A blood contract appeared next to Lucien, along with a small needle for him to prick his skin with in order to sign it. It laid out the terms clearly: Lucien would be trained by the K Empire for four years, and in turn, he and his people would assist in the efforts of destroying the Anrufe. Finally.
"Sign," he insisted. Adrian, likely awake by now, would appear suddenly in the docking bay as well. "I will assume that this one will lead in your place while you are here. Give him any instructions you may need to give him, and then, I will need to speak with you both."

Lucien examined the contract and then pricked a finger and signed the contract. Looking over at Adrian he pulled off the royal signet ring of the Neo Narrikian Empire and approached him. The ring was then slid by him onto the hand of Adrian whose clothes then changed to resemble those of a Neo Narrikian Emperor so that perhaps they could look the part. "Adrian, while I am gone. Have the animite surgically installed in yourself. You'll need it for what is to come. Also take a chemical shower and have your body purged of any toxins the K Empire has injected into you. You are in charge of the mission of the Fire Storm fully now. I will not be funding it like I used to so you will need to find your own money sources." At that Lucien looked at the K-Empire personnel and pulled out the deactivated (he hadn't figured out how to turn it online) animite that he carried on his person.

"We'll take that," one of the guards said, taking the deactivated animite. The DOTRAD was probably having a field day at the moment with all the new technology they had to study. Carhmichael grabed the blood contract, folding it up. It had already been signed by the emperor, and was now binding. Lucien's training would soon begin.
"Emperor Adrian of the Neo Narrikian Empire. My name is Carhmichael. The K Empire will be, hence forth, involved in the efforts to destroy the Anrufe. How many ships do you currently have at your disposal?"
One of the guards approached Lucien and said, "Sir, if you will follow me, it is time to begin your training."

The ships of the Neo Narrikian Empire as of yet did not equal even thirty. So far they had 24 ships but the number was growing. Corvettes and frigates could be used to supplement the fleet plus with the new VE very few lives if any were going to be lost. Of course in order to accomplish this Adrian had a big mission ahead of him and so he looked at the person and said. "To be exact there are 24 current ships at our disposal in addition to those our allies the Vionix have given us. Still haven't counted all of those yet."
Meanwhile:
Lucien walked with them but let them take the animite, not that he needed it. His psionic abilities should be more than a match for any problems he encountered. The injection he had given himself on board one of the ships of the Vionix was a serum that made him the next best thing to immortal. His body as long as it did not die of natural causes or unnatural ones could stay alive. Old age was not a problem he needed to worry about any longer. For now he would play by the rules and train under the group known as the K-Empire. Once 4 years had passed then he would be free to pursue his more actual goals that could be accomplished with the minimal amount of effort on his part. "Very well, let us get underway."

"Vionix?" Carhmichael repeated, "That name... It does sound familiar. Right, then. Adrian, I would like you to return to your planet. Gather as many of your warriors as you can. Man your ships. Gather your army. We shall attack yet another one of the Anrufe's worlds soon enough. I need you to bring your ships to a save location so we may modify them for battle. Do you know the location that the planet Earth once held? Send your ships there, to it's moon. Oh, and contact the Vionnix. Ask them to bring their fleet as well. We need everything we can get."
"Right," the guard replied, "I know you must be eager to join the fighting, but it is the opinion of the emperor that you are not yet ready to be on the battlefield. Given your personal involvement, though, he will grant you permission to join the fight during the final battle. As for your training, though. We have called upon an old friend to come train you. Perhaps you have heard of him? His name is Konjan."

Ships sometimes were built out of shoddy craftsmanship and could not even be considered stable to use. The ones the Anrufe used were built out of good quality materials but had one flaw. The emperor of the Neo Narrikian Empire Adrian nodded. Soldiers needed to be gathered and men needed to be recruited. Of course he did know where Earth was. So pulling out a galaxy phone that he had bought, a disposable prepaid one he called up someone and moments later a Super Capital ship beamed up Adrian onto the ship and then took off towards Memorial.
Lucien in the mean-time listened and thought about the person. Konjan might be a powerful asset from the name alone. Of course given the current circumstances and the fact Lucien had never met him this might not be as easy as Lucien had hoped. So he followed them to where his mentor and teacher awaited because he planned to be ready. The Anrufe were going to be decimated so completely and utterly they could never even under the most beneficial circumstances recover. "My goal right now is to become stronger so that I can handle the threats this galaxy has to offer. Am Fields aren't a problem for me due to a lack of a certain organ inside of me. However I have adapted to that problem. So where is this Konjan who is to train me?"

"Hmph," Carhmichael sighed, looking at his men, "I hope we're doing the right thing here. I really do."
