Quite unfortunately for the Fire Storm station, the Black Vionix knew everything about the Self Destruct routine and the coding tricked it into thinking that the station was under friendly hands, completely and easily switching off the Self Destruct sequence. It would seem that the Black Legion knew everything about this station, down to its damned core.
