Title: Black Legion: Neural Interface Tech

((K2, if you accept this, I will love you and post on Arcanis III for you :<))

Neural Interface:

The Neural Interface is a piece of tech that all Black Vionix soldiers are being supplied before going out into combat. This is a series of mechanical apparatus that are connected to the Biomachinery of the Black Legion and then wrapped around and connected to the Spatian. This takes a lengthy operation however although the rate of success is very high from the experience that Black Legion doctors have had experimenting on Biomachinery. After this has been fully connected, a series of jacks are connected into the back of the skull. These jacks are the slots that special "modules" are connected into, these modules give the Vionix with them a special ability depending on the module implanted. The modules work by transforming Spatial Energy from the Spatian into other types of energies to do different effects depending on the energy it is changed into. Black Legion Soldiers are given only the "Soldier" Module but once they reach officer rank, they are given a second input slot and choice of module. At General they are given their third and final module slot although some cannot handle it.

"Soldier" Module:

The Soldier Module is the module given to basic Black Legion Vionix soldiers. This module also incorporates a small visor creator built into the side of the eye. When activated, this module causes Spatial Energy to be transformed into Electrical energy which would power the visor and activate it. When activated the visor slides across the eye like a blue shield and give them a tactical layout and the areas of all their squad mates. Also, the visor links to their guns and gives an ammo display as well as a reticule so as not to make the Vionix aim. (The easiest way to look at this, is that it gives the Vionix with it a HUD, almost Halo Style)

"Inferno" Module:

The Inferno Module converts Spatial Energies into heat and light energy, and with the use of a small amount of friction from the Vionix's hands or fingers, it allows the creation of fire. Be it anything from a spark to a circle of fire around the user. However, the larger and more fire that is created, the more energy is required from the Vionix's own body to power it.

"Life" Module:

The Life Module changes Spatial energy from the Vionix into chemical energy and speeds up their body's processes, causing the body to heal itself that bit quicker and can stop pain from affecting them quite as much as it causes more adrenaline to be released into their body, thereby nullifying the pain. The amount of regeneration is rather small though, and it is really only a clotting factor for larger wounds but smaller nicks and cuts are healed over rather quickly.

"Lift" Module:

The Lift Module causes excess energies from the Spatian to be transformed into a kind of Gravitic Control that allows things from around five meters away to be picked up with ease just by thinking about it. However, the user can only pick up objects around the weight of a rifle and can in fact, manipulate a trigger while holding a gun. Other than that, the lighter the objects, the more can be held but only up to around six objects as the concentration needed gets a bit too much at that point.

"Displacer" Module:

The Displacer Module is somewhat of the reverse of most other modules. It is a purely passive module that projects a sort of energy absorbing field around the user. This field can only absorb all of the energy from around three bullets in one go but it can pick up random energies such as heat, kinetic or sound and even light energy when it gets a bit stronger than just normal light. The energy taken is usually transferred into either the armour the user is wearing if it is PRPA or it is focused and able to be used like a torch or flint and steel.

"Blocker" Module:

The Block Module causes energy taken from the Spatian to be changed into a form of solid light energy, or a shield as most others would know it. This shield is usually able to stop normal bullets and plasma shots but it can't stop larger weaponry such as tank shells or bombs and they will break the shielding that is summoned. The larger the shield, the more energy it takes and the more fire it takes, the harder it is to sustain so only very powerful Vionix take this module.

"Brawler" Module:

The Brawler Module causes Spatian Energies to be converted into a kinetic energy field that is placed over the Vionix's hands, completely coating them. This causes the Vionix in question to hit a lot harder in melee combat, about strong enough to punch straight through stone and possibly dent metal, this means that it would be unwise to get into hand-to-hand with a Black Legion with this module.

"Detector" Module:

The Detector Module converts the Vionix's Spatial Energies into a type of radiation that pings back from contacting living beings. It is another passive module that causes a wave of this radiation to spread it, it passes straight through non-living material and then bounce back if it hits living targets, causing the Black Legion to be able to detect where said living creature is.

"Short Circuit" Module:

The Short Circuit Module causes the Vionix to be able to generate electrical energy by converting their Spatian energies. This electrical energy is focused around the hands and can be used to either "taser" a living enemy or completely fry the circuitry of a robotic enemy. The more energy converted however, the larger the electrical current, so it can be used to kill living foes should the user of it get close enough to touch them.
