Those who had died here would find themselves strangely revived. Probably a lot of pirates.

Considering that all that remained of the Talar belts asteroids... was nothing. The pirates would find themselves floating in space. The Talar Sphere, the Dyson Sphere that encased the local star didn't have any pirates. The Talar Sphere was manned with a number of Wayword.
First reaction was to activate the MER Field. Anything that molecular bound the pirates new bodies together would be ripped apart.

The bodies would keep repairing and reforming as the pirates continuously died and then would be revived, again and again.

The zombie apocalypse had began. Overnight, the dead turned corrupted. As their bodies and spirits became suddenly incompatible, the revived would be helpless as their bodies went crazy. Infecting. Killing. Biting. Eating flesh. Everyone who died, regardless of rather they'd been bit, would find themselves suddenly transformed into zombies due to the Spirit Realm failure. Needless to say, things were taking a turn for the worst.

The zombies in the Talar system continued to die again and again. The MER field tearing them apart by their very molecular structure.
