Those who had died here would find themselves strangely revived.

Throughout Earth at this time was constant rain. Floods of water, and neverending rain. With most of the humans having left in anger at the condition of Earth and Treena's 'rule' of things, Treena had become downright depressed and through her 'tears' it rained. The streets, and ground were flooded, the seas were overflowing, and the humans that had remained had tried to make the best of things in their planet of neverending rain and water.
Treena could just not understand, why had the left? Had they not enjoyed peace? To live with the animals in harmony, to take of the Earth and not worry of death? Had they not been happy to give up wars and killing? Then why... why had the left? The Earth had finally been at peace, it had given up its old ways, and nature flourished...
With these thoughts left to the saddened spirit of Earth, she could not help but cry and in result cause the Earth itself to be depressed.
...But wait!
Sunlight, artificial in nature from Treena's magic (due to the the planet was nowhere near the Sun anymore) immediately flooded the planet as Treena sensed the return of the humans. Her people had come back to her! The rain started to dry and the remaining Earthlings finally rejoiced as they could finally live on low ground again without worrying of floods.
The Earthling who had been revived would find themselves instantly in a field of flowers as nature 'welcomed' them.

The zombie apocalypse had began. Overnight, the dead turned corrupted. As their bodies and spirits became suddenly incompatible, the revived would be helpless as their bodies went crazy. Infecting. Killing. Biting. Eating flesh. Everyone who died, regardless of rather they'd been bit, would find themselves suddenly transformed into zombies due to the Spirit Realm failure. Needless to say, things were taking a turn for the worst.

Misery, with his small horde of corrupted animals, fought back in the African continent.
