Title: Temporal Intervention
Post by: Zero on December 04, 2012, 06:25:30 PM
"COME OUT AND TALK TO ME!"

This was spoken by a clone of Nicholas that had been made using the Pseudo System. The clone stood there and waited.

There was silence for a bit before, in a silver light, a copy of Nek appeared on the planet near Nicholas, a distracted look on his face as he glanced over the Narrikian. "What's up, man?"

"We would like to pay you the grand sum of 10 million credits if this figure does not show up for the duration of the Anrufe War."

The clone of Nicholas handed a picture of Shift over to Nek.

"In short, we are paying you to keep TIME out of this matter. Capiche?"

"Uh huh," Nek replied, glancing at the picture of Shift, "I can't exactly interfere. Though, I do suppose this is something that the Master will want to deal with... We don't need your money, though. I'll see what I can do."

"Look. His intervention has cost 2 planets.  Should you not be able to handle it and he gets involved one more time Silas will have to give the order to begin research in ways to cut off the powers of the Templars. Silas does not wish to do this, but barring you or Jay handling this matter it is the only alternative."

The clone then faded out of existence.

"Jeez! What a prick," Nek said to himself before his form vanished.

A stone displaying a holographic clock appeared. Nek had 72 hours...3 days to do something about Shift.

Halsey, who was roaming around, getting used to his new home walked past it and stopped. "Hey, guys? I'm no expert, but when there is a clock counting down, its usually leading to something bad." Halsey said to what seemed like no one in particular, but he knew the Templars heard everything.

"Interesting...." Halsey said to himself. "I wonder if someone is trying to intimidate us..."

To prove that even magical artefacts had a sense of humour, a similar holographic clock with grey numbers in ancient Templar text appeared next to the Narrikian clock, counting down to nothing in particular.

When the Narrikian Clock reached 0, it was going to send a beam of energy...a beacon from Inarin. They had 70 hours to do something about the threat of the group known as the Anrufe's member known as Shift Stryder. Of course the Narrikians did not know the name of the person. But they were promsing the Templars they'd start researching them if something was not done. A scroll appeared near Halsey.

"70 hours until Templar Severence Research. Remove this guy from the equation and it does not happen.' On the scroll, was another picture of Shift.

Halsey chuckled at the Templar clock, and looked unimpressed at the scroll. "Once again, I still don't like that clock. Can someone get me some paint? Grey doesnt really fit in around here... What do ysll think."

In a flash, the numbers turned to a silver glow. Meanwhile, the Narrikian clock stopped as time around it stood still, just to stop any actual beacons that the Narrikians could send. They didn't take threats lightly.

Another clock appeared, this one so small the Templars likely would not detect it. It was to send a message to Silas when 69 hours had ended that it was time to go on the offensive against Shift themselves via research into his power. But they did not have a name to the face.

"My God... They don't know when to quit." Halsey sighed. "Ive always hated clocks... Hated them on false heaven, and hate them here. Oh the situational irony. Nek! Get rid of these things." Halsey shouted.

OOC: Unless Halsey can see the size of a molecule, he did not see the clock.

The Citadel, however, COULD detect the clock, and easily teleported it away. A giant sign appeared where the clocks had been appearing that said, "No trespassing!"
