10:05 Anrufe Capital Standard.
Panic spread throughout Providence. They'd just lost communication with Fort Cloud. Last minute reports indicated bright lights and mushroom clouds. How was this possible? Had the enemy really found Fort Cloud? It was time to rally. It was time to defend the base which they had worked so hard to defend. Time to defend the Anrufe as a whole. The Narrikians or the Vionnix weren't capable of this, were they? Maybe not. But the Mecherans were.
On the planet, Green Zero and Kenny Zero were trying to find out what was going on. Green Zero was barking orders as his nephew stood at his side. There was a flurry all over, and nobody really could comprehend what the state of the Anrufe was in now. One thing was for certain. If Fort Cloud had been taken out, they were coming here soon. Maybe next. They had to be ready. They had t-
"SIR!" a soldier yelled, frightened, as he stood in Command HQ, hovering over a computer console.
"What is it?"
"THE... THE ANOMALY AT THE CORE IS GROWING LARGER! IT'S TAKING THE PLANET BY STORM!"
"Wh... What?"
"Reports indicate massive erosion! Shit! Sir, the.. The core's going crit-"
The tremors started.
The planet was about to explode.
"EVERYONE!" Green Zero yelled, "EVACUATE!"
Grabbing ahold of Kenny, he got out of there quick, as did many others. And shortly after that, the darkness sealed in the planet broke free and engulfed it as Providence became nothing more than a very ominous black hole.
