Title: Helping a member in need.
Post by: K2 on January 12, 2013, 07:19:43 PM
One of your fellow members, whom shall remain nameless, is going through a very hard time, and DanP is organizing an effort to help him/her out. In short, Dan has volunteered to drive across the country to help this member escape a dangerous situation and start anew. If you can, we welcome you to donate to the cause. Here is Dan's words himself:

[17:50] <Bear> Like I said, the fundraiser has begun, you can donate to parallelweb@gmail.com, whatever is not raised comes out of my pocket, and I don't have a lot in my pockets

If the member wishes to share more he/she is welcome to, and you can ask Dan about other ways to volunteer your help.

Is this you know who that I believe it is but no one can talk about because no one knows he exists and we know he exists?

Are donations still going? I did my budget and I have a few dollars I can send off.

Agwu is incorrect. Although the above mentioned events have already happened, the need is still ongoing, since no donations came in, and it did have to be funded out of pocket.

Well I'll have to redo my budget plan before Amy would ever agree to let me do this, but that should about take me a week or two. Work has kind of piled up on my desk.
