Gyokoru, though a sleep little Zarethian colony, had obtained a moderate amount of Revenge's followers. The Cult had found the Zarethians very open to recruiting. Since little of them had much magic, to be given the power of Corruption was a tempting proposition that few were able to resist, especially paired with Revenge's preaching, promises of happiness when you claim your Vengeance. And here was the first place Remorse saw fit to appear. In the main temple of the Gyokoru chapter.
The cultists were used to their God coming and going, and reacted accordingly. But they cocked their heads as they realized this was not the same God as they had seen before.
"My subjects..." He said, glancing around the crowded room.
"We're going to start doing things a little differently now."
