Calitas as one of the series V VE had been assigned a very dangerous mission. The mission involved going to the heart of a currently allied territory and carrying some sensitive equipment on his person. The sensitive equipment in his case was software that had been designed to sort of be like viruses, but was based off of the drugs that had been used on Earth in the past. His current form looked like a business man, a shady one at that. Calitas was in the cyber space of the Mechera even though he happened to be a VE and not a Mechera. The Mechera did not even know what had happened to Zeta, poor poor Zeta who had been exposed to every data drug and then some. Calitas were here to market the viruses and make them popular.

The cyberspace he was currently in was a CitySector. He stood upon a floating pathway, not quite a road but a bigger than just a sidewalk, with massive obelisks of buildings floating in the 'air' around him. If he'd peer off the edge, he'd see hundreds of thousands of levels of walkways below him, and if he'd look up, he would see the same. There was no ground floor in this cyberspace, and if he fell off the edge and did nothing to stop, he'd probably end up falling into a adjacent Sector of the Mechera Cyberspace. Several connector walkways broke off from this one, heading directly at the doors of the buildings, sometimes heading straight into right angles headed up or down, which the Mechera all around him walked up and down without pause nor issue.
As for the Mechera themselves, the VE might be surprised to notice that their forms in Cyberspace were remarkably non-mechanical. Barring the odd Mechera that chose a non-humanoid(and sometimes non-euclidean) avatar, most looked almost entirely human, right down to wearing clothes and having styled hair. The biggest difference was the extreme variety of hair and skin colors, and that their eye colors changed with their emotions. Most everyone paid him absolutely no mind-everyone here had their own business to go on, and he certainly wasn't the strangest sight. He wasn't even the only non-Mechera; given their extremely advanced Cyberspatial infrastructure, the Empire would no-doubt be favored by other forms of AI, and as such most Mechera didn't see a point in even noticing the difference between separate forms of data-entities. Of course, the Government Coding programmed into the cyberspace itself kept a watchful eye on every non-Mechera entity's actions...
But then again, it kept the same scrutiny focused on its own people as well.

The nature of the network at first confused the VE known by the designation of Calitas. Upon a long period of just watching the Mechera Calitas believed he understood the network well enough. So it seemed he had his own best interests in mind now. There seemed to be some sort of presence in the system that had an eye on him and so he could not sell the Data Drugs yet. Most of them had not been personally examined by him or tested on a Mechera to 100% stability without any issues. The cyber space was examined and Calitas made plans to improve on the Narrikian Cyberspace with some similar codes to how the Mechera used it to make life more enjoyable for the VE. So as to avoid detection of any illegal activity on his person Calitas deleted the data container that held all of the Data Drugs. There were several archived copies within him, but that was the one he could use himself. Best not to seem dangerous. So he walked around and tried to find a Mechera willing to buy stuff from him. After a bit, he found an area of the Mechera's like a park and sat down on one of the benches worn out from all the walking he had done with the heavy amount of data within him.
