Weeks had passed. Weeks had passed since Prince Fiske Tyris, brother of King Kaleb James Tyris II, had attempted to launch a coup in the K Empire. Weeks had passed since Kaleb had died stopping his brother. Weeks had passed since Cole Tyris abandoned the empire. Weeks had passed since Elizabeth, poor little Lizzie, prepared to become a queen. And now, the time finally was approaching.
The coronation itself would take place in two days time, but the festivities began today. As the clock hit midnight, only a few were asleep in K City right now. Many others were lining the streets for the grand opening celebrations. Fireworks danced in the sky all over K City as guests poured in. Heavy drinking took place in pubs all over. Hotel rooms were being booked. Truly, this was going to be one hell of an event.
And it started today.
