The group exited the Gate, as it was closer to them from the Sorceress' house. Before they'd used it, the Witch Doctor had de-summoned Eclipse; it wouldn't have fit inside the Gate. "Hope ya dont have allergies, kid. This place is a giant forest."
-
"You don't mind if I contact my father's spirit do you?" asked Zane wanting to be full and sure that this was the exact way that his father had created the power of the gauntlets. He didn't have much time left and if this failed well the entire universe would be plagued by that evil.
"Well?"
-
"Uhh...You can do that? Sure...Knock yourself out..."
-
Reaching out into the essence a field of the astral plane which he had managed to access Zane said to his father "Have I reforged the gauntlets so far according to your original designs dad?"
"So Far you are doing well my son. You have managed to get around the legal morass of the Elemental Leaders by going straight to the elders. It was smart of you to not use your portals. Once the gauntlets are reforged though you must pass the trials in order to be able to use them and that is what I fear that you may not be able to do. I didn't pass all of the trials and so it is up to you from here on out my son. "
Ending the communication Zane decided that he must prepare himself for the trials while the others focused on forging and creating the gauntlets once again so that they could be used.
Having learned the nessecarry spell he immediately held out his palm and cast the spell on himself beginning the first test. Now he stood and waited for the first test to begin.
"We shall never contact each other again as once you are done I shall be able to go be judged for my actions and if destiny permits be with my wife once again. "
-
The Divine looked at Zane with a raised eyebrow, saying,"Oh, it was YOUR idea all of a sudden to skip the leaders and go with Eclipse, was it?"
"Does it really matter if he wants to impress his dad? Come on, just leave it be you big fool. We have to find the Hunter."
"Wha-BUT IT WAS MY IDEA TO-"
"Come on already! We need to get moving."
"Fine, fine..."
-
"I have woken up. I must begin now." Saying that he walked over to where the Witch Doctor and the others were. "Let us go and get the hunter and the others. I shall do the tests after the ritual in order to get the power to destroy the beast permanently. "
-
"Alright. The tree's are too dense to actually fly and find him, so we'll have to try and find him on ground. Anyone have any idea what direction we should go in?"
-
"Well instead of having to search the entire forest for him I say we simply do this!" Zane's eyes glowed and the magical signature of the hunter began to become visible to him. "Found him. " A look of emotion was on his face and it was not an emotion that he particularly enjoyed. It was raw hatred.
-
"Whats with him?"
"Beats me...Ask 'em."
"You!"
"Just get over there and ask him!"
"Ohh...Hey, whats wrong?"
-
"I feel like an idiot. " said Zane for the first time ever he had insulted himself. Pointing a fist out he said "All this time. How was I so blind? Why didn't I remember that?" He opened his bag and pulled out the old gauntlets.
"This should save us time even though they won't fit me. We will need to remedy that. "
-
"...Oh, for the love of...SERIOUSLY!?" The Divine yelled only restrained from trying to beat Zane with his cane by the Wind.
"Getting angry will solve nothing. We may still need the other Elders to help with the resizing, anyways."
-
"Yeah and I forgot that when passed to a new wielder the gauntlets lose all virtues and so therefore they must still be re-enchanted." Calming down somewhat Zane said to them. "I sense Pedalo. It is like his magic signature is growing stronger every second and so we have even less time than I originally hoped that we would have. No time to look so..." He took out the tome and said the true names of the elders that weren't there causing them to arrive. "No time to look around. "
-
Appearing were the Elders:
Dark-a figure clad in armor, with draconic wings and the usual skin tone of the Darks. His appearance was that of a aged, yet strong, Dark, with a sword larger than his arm sheathed upon his back. He was the Knight.
Light-a figure wearing robes that looked to be those of a true alchemist, her wings angelic in every way, and with golden glasses. She was also the one that looked the most confused by the sudden change in location. However, despite being a elder, she looked even younger than the Soceress. She was the Alchemist.
Earth-a male Earth elemental, with his elven appearance. He wore light clothes, and had a bow, and a bag full of arrows(cant remember what its called). He looked aged, but not so much that he needed any help, and was very nimble. He was the Hunter.
Fire-A blazing female being wearing a dress made out of chains linked together from the black rock, and of whom had a crown of fire atop her head. If one looked at his clothing the right way, it almost looked to be a sort of robes, just made out of the black rocks...Which in fact it was. While she indeed was a tad aged, she still had a fiery personality. She was the Magician.
Water-A merman being, with rag-tag, waterlogged clothes, and a bandanna covering her head. She looked about as young as the Light and Wind; she must have been to Light at some point. In her hands were a trident, and she seemed confused before yelling about falling through the air; when she was teleported, it wasn't at exactly where she should have been. At the least, she landed in a lake they were at the shore of. She was the Pirate.
And so...The questions began.
Dark:"Huh...This ain't Dark. Where am I...Is that you, Hunter?"
Earth:"Yes...And this is the Gate Tree. I suspect we were summoned by him, who holds the guantlets."
Fire:"Damn straight, considering he's holdin' em."
Light:"No need to get so angry, Magician."
Water:"WHY DID YOU TELEPORT ME SO HIGH UP!? I oughta strangle ya! Ya could'a killed me!"
-
"There was no time to go looking for you when Pedalo is almost at full power and so I did what I could, I merely teleported you all here to resize, re enchant and prepare me for the war against Pedalo so that I may like my father did defeat him. This time though I am going to take his magic away from him once I defeat him so he is no longer a threat. " said Zane. He put the gauntlets in the hands of each respective elemental.
"Now if you will proceed we may have this unpleasantness done and then I can teleport you back to your homes so that we may be done with this whole ordeal for at least 10 centuries or more. "
-
"Or you could of course just kill him." The Dark said, to the approval of the others. "That usually works. Maybe seal his soul in a rock or something."
-
"I agree that killing would solve one problem. However as you know he has many disciples filled with his dark energy and one of them would just rise up in his foot steps if I don't merely lock away his powers. Thus the cure you suggest being worse in the long run is indeed the case." said Zane in response to the Dark Elemental Elder.
"Now will you get with the enchantments so that we may be done with all of this already and this time make them last another 10 mill years. I don't have time to find your successors if the guy returns again. "
-
"No, for the anarchy this ensues within their ranks would destroy the lot of them. They'd fragment into many smaller factions, not all obey one leader."
-
"True but they might all work together which would be the problem because even with my powers, I can't be everywhere at once to handle every last one of his disciples some of which are elemental dark users and some others. " He had a scowl on his face.
-
"Then what is to stop him from simply using them all right now in such a way? You must not believe that hope is lost. The weak-willed often flock to those with empty promises of power, after all, and numbers decide not a fight."
-
"True. So now we must get started on the enchantment and the resizing of the gauntlets to fit me. " said Zane regaining some of his lost hope.
-
"Yes...But not here. It must be done at a Gate." The Divine said, walking back to the Gate, the the others following.
-
Zane had teleported to where they would arrive. He was ready to fight if the need should arise. He had a staff in his hands. The staff was glowing with energy.
-
They performed the ritual. In all, it took over six hours...Each. It was a good thing they all did it at the same time, for there were seven of them. Done separately, there would have been no chance of getting them done in time. The Divine's advice was correct, it seemed...
-
"Good. The gauntlets are resized. " said Zane. He had a smile on his face. "Now all we need to do is fully prepare me. "
-
"Hmph...What else do ya need?" The Pirate asked, swinging his trident around at Zane, mostly to agitate or scare him.
"A good question...We'll need to know what else before we can get it to you."
-
Getting agitated Zane simply said "I am not in the right mind set. I must be able to clear my mind of all thoughts that I will lose. It will only give the enemy a foothold in my emotions. "
-
They looked at each other.
Dark:"Hey...Wasn't there that one rumor about those Divine on another world?"
Divine:"Nah, they weren't Divine, They had freakish-nonmoving shadows. Besides, those had no magic."
Earth:"Really? I always thought they were Divine..."
Water:"Wh-what kind of freakish beings are they, that they have no craft?"
Wind:"They have a craft. They're Tech-Craft."
Water:"Even worse! Technology is so...Limited! They must be hidious..."
Fire:"They're stupid as well. Most of them worship the Light."
Light:"Huh? No...I mean, yes, they're stupid, but they dont worship us. They think we're the underlings of the one the worship."
Divine:"Heretical nonsense! The Lights dont follow anyone but their King, and trust me-he's anything but godly..."
Dark:"That is most true...But thats not what Im talking about. These ones dont have the same belief."
Water:"Hey...Yeah, I think I've heard that rumor too, now that'cha mention it. Bun'cha id'jits that named their world after dirt, didn't they?"
Earth:"Hey, thats true...I mean, our continent is named after our Element, so that doesn't count..."
Fire:"Aha! Thats a good one...They named it after dirt!"
Light:"Terra was the name of their world, isn't it?"
Earth:"No, wasn't it Riku?"
Dark:"No, that was only one of their languages words for it, and that was land, not the world, I think."
Divine:"You're kidding me! They dont speak the same language? How do they get anything done in the international community!?"
Water:"I heard it was due to the combined stupidity of their leaders..."
Light:"Oh, I heard it was that they didn't. Accoarding to the lastest gossip, most of the intel from inter-world traders, they'd used the Fire spell 'Oblivion' on each other suddenly..."
Fire:"Impossible, they cant use magic. Besides, only the most powerful Fires can use Oblivion. There's no way they could have..."
And so they continued the conversation...
-
"I am ready." said Zane with finality.
-
The Dark then said, after Zane broke the conversation,"Oh...Well, I was going to let you know about the rumor, how on that world there's supposed to be a group of monks in the largest mountains of their world that gain spiritual enlightenment through the emptiness of the mind, but if you really dont need it to aid you...I've been around town, and there's this group of people that seem like members of the old Cult of Pedalos, and among them are two people...They...Their mere being there makes you feel full of despair and loneliness...If you are truly ready, then go. If not, then I bid you, learn these monk's ways of enlightenment...They might help you against those two."
-
Well now Zane was annoyed and he knew that truly he was not ready for the task at hand. Walking over to the Dark Elemental he said to him “Going to the monks is the best possible option. “ Waiting for a response he held out his hand and instantly knowing where to go he immediately teleported to the location. 3 hours later he teleported back ready and with a stern look on his face.
“As my father wanted I shall entrust to you the task of gathering the elementals to serve against Pedalo and his minions. You must prepare while I go to confront him before he gathers his full strength at his disposal. “ Zane was riding on a dragon he himself had summoned. Each elemental’s power was flowing around and through Zane as if he had become a true master of the gauntlets.
It was indeed time for Zane to handle things and so that he could handle things, the elemental elders would have to be relied upon in order to handle matters for him. “You all must handle the legions that Pedalo will command. I myself will go for the head of the serpent but so that you are still protected against Pedalo and his darkness Maxima come to me.†Maxima appeared on scene wearing armor that seemed to be a medley of whatever each elemental wore and she had several various swords bundled on her back. Taking off the bundle she gave the sword befitting each element to the elders and said “You will need these. The way they are designed allows them to slice through darkness like a hot knife through butter. I hope you all are ready for what lies ahead.†As she said this Maxima drew her own sword and began to put on her real armor for this battle so that she would be ready. Once she had her armor on, she strapped Zane into the armor that his father had worn and put the gauntlets on him so that he would be ready. “Let us do what we must so that we all live.â€
-
Theu scorned the weapons. "We have our own proficencies...And these weapons we wield, they are our trusted allies in these battles we've been in. They've not abandoned us. Now it is our turn to do the same for them...Water's Trident, which strikes through those foolish enough to attack her; Divine's Shadow, which engulfs all and lets loose unspeakable horrors; Light's Knives, which cleave through the Darkness and help those who need it; my own Greatsword, loyal to the end, and even beyond; Fire's Magic, which has allowed her to show the full force of her personality to those who try her; Earth's Bow, which snipes both the worthy and the not, whomever he commands; and Wind's Claws, which slash through all who oppose her or her friends...These weapons, you must understand, are a part of us. We shall not abandon them, nor wish for them to change. They are ours, and fine they way they are...We've been ready far longer than you could imagine."
OOC:Please tell me you know where the monks they were talking about were, though...I'll give you a hint, the planet recently lost most of its Pop...

(Earth)
A beast made out of bone appeared near them rode by Kyle Leaving who said "My Master Pedalo bids you to surrender the gauntlets to him and leaves you this one opportunity to surrender the gauntlets to him before he kills you all. " Kyle was trying to scare Zane into surrendering the gauntlets so the victory would go on without a hitch.
"It is unlikely that I will ever surrender to the likes of your master." said Zane and an angel rose out of his shadow which proceeded to give Kyle a punch in the face. The 'Angel's' fist was glowing with fire when he delivered the punch
"So you wish to scorn his hand of friendship and to take the fist of war in it's place?" asked Kyle and he materialized a sword that was radiating evil energy in his hands.
-
"...Whats with the dialect?"
"...Iunno, sounds like something out of a bad play..."
-
At that moment from the sword Kyle was holding a blast of dark energy came straight towards Zane who had no chance to defend himself from it's power.
Zane fell to the ground bleeding from the attack which had caught him off guard. "Elemental Elders. Defeat him please."
-
The Fire merely threw a fireball bigger than a person at Kyle, a giant blaze to burn through him and leave nothing.
-
When the fire ball came at him Kyle merely sidestepped. "Your elemental hero will bear this curse to his dying day. " Firing a blast of Hex Magic Kyle made it to where Zane was crippled.
"Now let's see him fight Pedalo now. " Kyle teleported away.
-
"Kindle." The Fire Elder said, using a small amount of Fire Magic. Not nearly strong enough to damage, it was a fire used to burn away curses. she'd be able to use her other magic to seal the wounds, but aside from that, there wasn't much she could do. He'd have to rest.
OOC:Fire can heal too, ya know. >:3
-
When the curse left him Zane felt a slight heat. It wasn't a burning heat but rather a gentle heat. It was making him slightly sleepy. "Thank you for dislodging his curse. "
-
"Hey, now take it easy. The curse is still gona, but you've still been wounded. You might have a sprain, and anything thats bleeding will need to be burned somewhat to close up the wounds." The Water Elemental said, looking over his injuries, while the Fire used hotter flames to close the wounds.
*only if there is a sprain or something, which of course is if you permiss it, them being your characters*
The Light took the sprained limb, and said,"Dont move, this'll only hurt for a second..."
He snapped the sprain back to normal, saying as he did so,"...But damn, will it hurt..."
-
"Just gonna take it easy." said Zane exhausted from his battle. The heat he couldn't feel since he was so sleepy at the moment. He did feel the twist though and silently made a note to strangle the light elemental with his bare hands at the first opportunity. Waking up he slowly said to each elemental "The horde comes. Gather your forces."
Two men riding dark Pegasi approached. "Our Lord Pedalo bids you to surrender." In response to that Zane merely summoned Eclipse from his own shadow which killed them both. "No. "
-
Eclipse, annoyed that it was disturbed, slapped the guantlet-wielded with its wing before fading out.
"Ah...You're not experienced enpugh to summon a demon like Eclipse yet. They respond not to power, which you indeed have, but experience, which with this magic, you have not. Your best bet would be to summon your personal demons, or angels; the demons are stronger, but manifest your fears and everything that stresses you, and so aren't very loyal. Your angels, on the other hand, are very loyal, and manifest the positive traits of yours, but are more defensive and are healers. The demons wont be loyal unless you've confronted them, but they'll still keep you alive...Horribly maimed is still alive, after all, until you overpower these such fears."
-
As the response to what the elementals were saying was devised Zane came to many conclusions that would not please the elementals. Namely it was their own stupidity that had allowed Pedalo to rule as he had for so long and to bring his armies into existence.
His second thought was one of rage. How dare the light elementals not go after Pedalo. After all they could have won with their magic. Well he was partially glad that they hadn’t. The victory would belong to him when he smote Pedalo a terrible blow with the gauntlets and ended his existence.
He was so furious right now that he did indeed need to be stopped. Only water or air could prove calming enough to stop him from going into the state of frenzy and killing one of the elders. His eyes had narrowed to slits.
“Elementals, you must stop me before I….â€
A sword that was blood red appeared in his hands and he pointed it at them all preparing to slay them. Only someone capable of empathizing with him at the moment could stop him from doing this.
-
In an instant, he found himself in a prison of rock, with a arrow hitting the blade at precisely the correct point to shatter it. "Boy, dont for one second think you've been at it nearly long enough to give it a go with us." The Earth Elder said, already with his next arrow aimed right for Zane's skull. "And dont think any of us have a problem with killing you. We're warriors, the best of the best at our Crafts. We know what we're doing, and you'd damn well better remember it."
-
Recovering from what had happened Zane began to regain control of himself. He saw the earth elemental pointing an arrow at him. Why was the Earth Elemental doing that? Was it that the earth elemental was a traitor? No. It was probably his blood berserker state that he forgot to warn them about. "I have a state called blood beserker. It tremendously boosts my abilities but makes me unable to discern who is a friend or foe. It makes me attack everyone. Luckily you contained me before I went into that state fully. I called in some back up. Some special magic users that are loyal to me to assist in the fight against Pedalo."
-
"Hmph. Contain such a power, or else we shall be forced to take your life. Your or us, as it seems, in that state." The Hunter said, firing the arrow, but at a acorn-like nut right above Zane on a tree. The stone parted to allow it to fall right on his head.
-
"Alright. I shall try my level best to contain said power. Barring that Maxima has learned how to bring me out of it which is why she should be coming here to help us during the fight if merely so I don't go crazy and on a killing rampage. Though killing Pedalo in that state would be easy, it would be far too risky for you all if I were to go into said state again." A grin had replaced his scowl and the rock prison around him had went back into the earth instantaneously sent back by the force of gravity. "There. Now what do you say we give Pedalo the unwelcoming party that he is wishing for?"
Shadows began to come out of the grand solidifying into Pegasi that looked like they were made out of pure evil. They fired beams of energy from their horns at the elementals and Zane both. Such a beam combined would likely kill an Elemental or Zane or both. "Ouuur Maasssterrr Pedaaaalo offers you one more chance to surrender. " Pedalo was trying to scare Zane and it was working.
-
The beams were met with a field of darkness, the two defying each other. After the field was formed, a burst of light shot out at one of them, searing the flesh. A gale of wind took them out of the skies, with a bed of stone spikes covered with bramble on the ground to meet them. As they fell, the half bramble was lit aflame, while the other spikes jutted out ice thorns. A large shadow encircled them, and prevented all escape, taking the form of a massive black wing-nothing more than the wing, yet still encompassing them in their entirety. There was no escape for the sharp fate that awaited them...
-
The Damage had already been done however. Zane was very frightened now of Pedalo and his armies which is what the creatures had been sent to accomplish. He was too scared of the creatures to even speak and was shaking in abject terror of the monsters due to what he had seen them do. His father had never warned him about this and so he was frightened out of his wits.
-
"Hmph...How weakhearted. Come on, get up, ya worthless peice'a trash. You've got a monster to destroy!" The Pirate yelled, smacking her weapon against him. "Or are you just afraid? If thats it, I cant believe thats makin' ya stop. Fearlessness does not make bravery, but the ability to combat your fears. So for the last flarzing* time, GET UP ALREADY!"
*Flarze-A elemental slang word equal in social language to a curse like 'f*ck' or 'sh*t'. However, its meaning is much different.
-
Getting up he was clearly enraged. She was the one who had triggered his Blood Berserk state and no Maxima was not there to comfort him at the moment and make him think all would be well. His hands aglow with black circles fired black lightning cold as night at her to defeat her. Electricity would defeat water. It was only logical.
"You know you really should not have insulted me because now I lost control."
Black lightning formed into webs which all shot at her.
-
"Oh, really? Like. I. Care."
She used the water to block all of the electricity. Water conducts electricity, which meant that she'd had it contained. She then sent the supercharged water droplets straight for Zane.
"Should we interfere?"
"...You kidding? Get in the way of Water? She'll devour us! Besides, you know her, she usually has a plan."
-
Finally beginning to come out of the stupor of his fury Zane realized what he was doing. It wasn't right in his opinion to fight the elementals. They should be respected and protected and not fought by him. Deciding to yield he took off the gauntlets and put them on the ground slowly along with all of his weaponry. He had however dodged the electrified water droplets easily due to his training. "I shouldn't have done that."
-
"GAH! Just as I was about to get it, too!" The Water Elemental said, facepalming.
"Something wrong?"
"YES! I was TRYING to enrage the guy! That is raw power in that form...If we could redirect it against Pedalos, combined with those gauntlets...Think about it!"
-
"My Anger is the one fatal flaw that I possess and you just made me BOILING MAD!!!!" Now if you have never experienced Zane's rage before you would be likely headed for the hills at this moment as Zane formed a large sphere of red energy above one finger and hurled it at all the elementals with quite the explosive effect if it hit anything or anyone.
-
"Slingshot."
That was the one word said by the Hunter. Instantly a slingshot made of rock and vines popped up from the ground to catch the orb. They moved out of the way just the same...
...but if it was caught and didn't break through, then the Hunter took hold of the Slingshot and aimed it away from Zane. "...Do that again...This could be a useful tactic."
...if not, they merely got out of the way and nowhere near the thing it would hit, and the Magician said,"Hm...That is a powerful attack. If you could control that, it would prove very useful..."
-
The orb passed through the slingshot as if it was not there locked onto the magical signature of the water elemental and electricity began to surround it along with a wall of vines.
-
"Thats enough of that." She said, pulling out her Trident. "Damnit, I am the Pirate. I'll be damned if I'll be done in by a youngin like you, ya hear me!?" She yelled, casting a defensive water spell. A bubble appeared around her, liquid, yes...But designed to reflect magical attacks. The ultimate water defense, impenetrable to all forms of magic, and forced them against their owners. It didn't matter how many times it bounced on the surface, because it was magic, it would never get through, and non magic weapons would not burst it, for they would pass through, allowing her to block with her Trident.
-
An elemental fire ran up "Elders, uh there is a dark horde on the march to here."
Zane "SH!T. We need to get all the governments united quickly under my rule. Where is Maxima and her armies when I need them the most?" He put on the gauntlets.
-
"Getting the governments aligned is hard enough, but under the rule of someone ELSE? Whatever you're smoking, GIVE ME SOME. I WANT IT!" The Witch Doctor(Divine, if you dont recall) scoffed, shaking his head.
"He is right. There is no chance to get those political imbeciles to unite for the common interest of survival if it means someone else is in charge. Its hard enough keeping them peaceful. In any case, our own might is enough to defeat them. Armies and power do not make a win, but experience and knowledge. And quite frankly, we've got more than twice all that on them." The Magician said, with a wry smile on her aged face. "I'll be betting they wont give us a single casualty, especially with that attack of yours."
"Speaking of which..." The Pirate said, rather bored,"Would you stop it? Its getting annoying."
-
"Alright. But what about that?!?" Looking frightened Zane Valatako pointed at a clone of Pedalo who appeared nearby and put a dark mirror nearby which released dark clones of them.
"You will fight your own darkness first." said the clone before vanishing
-
"Darkness is a matter of perception. One could say that these reflections are dark..." Said the Knight, taking out his blade.
"...But then, you could also say that we are bright." The Alchemist finished, rays of light headed for these copies.
They did not face their own Evil-Copy. The Pirate attacked the Evil-Magician, the Magician attacked the Evil-Hunter, the Hunter attacked the Evil-Sorceress, the Sorceress attacked the Moderately-Nicer Pirate(I made a joke! :D).
Meanwhile, the Witch Doctor attacked the Evil-Alchemist, the Alchemist attacked the Evil-Knight, and the Knight attacked the Evil-Witch Doctor.
While these copies had their powers, what they lacked was experience, something impossible to copy. And these elders knew each other inside and out...
-
However their dark copies switched dance partners to the template they had been made from. Zane formed a large blue orb around one finger and hurled it devouring every dark copy and the mirror in one hit. "No more!"
-
"Well...what now, eh?"
-
Zane "We better hit Pedalo hard and fast. I will talk with your leaders and see if they will lend us military aid. No sense getting killed by our own allies at least for the time being. Alchemist can you try to use Alchemy to make a Thunder and Lightning gauntlet? We will need 1 of those at least."
-
"We keep tryin' to tell you, getting aid from those bags of hot air would take far too long. We're better off without them. And as for that such, my abilities are only of the Elemental magic of Light, being that I am a Elemental Light. I possess no other magic; I merely use Light magic for my Alchemy.
-
"Wait. My father said that young warriors would join us. He said that once I had revealed my power fully for all to see we would have the reinforcements needed. " said Zane Valatako. He fired light which transformed into each different element in the sky showing that he had mastered the gauntlets.
-
"Well, perhaps he was mistaken about our age..." The Alchemist said, taking out a container full of a liquid. "After all...You've seen me, the Sorceress, and the Pirate. You wouldn't be able to say that they are old, would you?"
-
"No. But he meant others besides you. "
A man clad in red robes with a yellow dragon symbol on it appeared. In his hands was a red and gold saber. This was the Paladin a warrior of the fire who had supposedly disappeared over 20 years ago. This one was not from this world but had moved here. He was a warrior human that had learned how to use the fire magic of the fire elementals.
A woman clad in a blue tunic and blue jeans appeared nearby. The clothes were light blue instead of dark blue. In her hands was a Trident. This was the queen of the sea. She was a warrior human who had been taught to control the water element by the pirate herself.
A young boy about age 10 wearing white robes was nearby and on his hand was a white ring glowing with power. This was the Ring Bearer and a warrior human who although young could use his ring to cause destructive attacks.
"Here are our reinforcements or at least part of them." said Zane
-
OOC:Not the literal queen, and they wouldn't be able to really use any magic than that of which they're trained in by the Elementals.
"Hey, its that kid. Hows it going, girly?" The Pirate said, with a evil look on her face.
"You know her?"
"Yeah...I had her as a apprentice at one time."
"Why would you put someone through such a horrible ordeal, such that you've killed some of them from?"
"I did no such thing! Its not my fault if they take their own lives because of it...And anyways, kid, BOO!"
-
One of them presented a golden and white sword to Zane. "Your Father left this in our care and keeping making it seem to be destroyed so that Pedalo could not utilize the blade himself to conquer the universe. You will take up the fight of your father." said the Paladin.
The Sea Queen "I too have a gift for you Zane, a suit of blue and black armor that I forged for you. "
Ring Bearer "Father..." he said looking at the light "Did I earn the right to give Zane the gift you wanted to?"
A boy looking like the earth elemental hunter walked out of one of the trees carrying a carved spear in his hands. "Father may I give him the green book of the forest?"
-
"We must hurry...Pedalos' forces are incompetent at the time, but they wont stay that way. This war must begin..." The Knight said, taking out his sword. "Allow us to purge that sickness from these lands! We are enough to smite him!"

Zane said to the Elemental Elders “I can sense a great evil approaching. Namely a horde. Pedalo has pulled out all the stops to make sure we don’t reach his citadel and I say we fight him every inch of the way if we must.†His hands had golden circles around them. “Release the light, Photon!†He fired a blast of light illuminating the first wave of them which were giant Jellyfish like monsters that were firing globs of dark energy from their tentacles.
“Now for phase 2. “ He gathered the air around him and transmuted it via the power of the gauntlets into water forming a water armor around him that would redirect their attacks. “I must flow like water to win. “ Wolves made out of dark energy shot dark flames from their mouths at Zane who used his water armor to get rid of the attack.
“Now to end this. Solarietta!†A huge orb filled with golden light energy came at Pedalo’s horde to decimate it in order to be rid of the horde once and for all. “Pedalo will not succeed. “
“Now gales of wind form a protective shield around me. Wind Armor!†The water vanished replaced by windwhich would redirect the attacks of his enemies. Riding on the wind he delivered a kick that sent an orb of energy of light flying at the horde that Pedalo was summoning.
-
"And now, we fight, in the hope of a new age of peace!" The Knight said, leading the charge of the other Elders.
-----
"Allow us to go."
"We will crush any resistance they'll offer."
"Pedalos...You will be feared."
"And will be fearless."
"But none of that can happen..."
"...Until you win the battles."
-
"Very well. Go forth my generals. Show the elders no mercy but bring me the one called Zane alive. I wish to kill him myself without the aid of his gauntlets or other weaponry at his disposal. "
-
"Very well."
"Finally! This'll be goooood..."
The duo of Mental Emptiness, Void and Null, then made their exit, by walking through doors made from that alignment they each had:one dark, one light. But both equally evil...
These doors appeared in front of Zane, and his battle force, and they opened. Void stepped out of the Dark one, while Null stepped out of the Light one. Without a word, the immediately went into a symetrical battle formation, and a magical wall of emptiness erupted from the ground, seperating Zane from his allies and surrounding the three of them, marking the battle area. A spot of plains...
-
Zane held out his hand. "Arif!" A blast of fire coming from behind void struck near him causing the ground to turn to quick sand. Besides that though Zane slid on the white ring and formed a large white sword which cut through the walls of emptiness.
-
Void merely stood on the quicksand, using Dark-attributed magic to force it to solidify underneath him.
"Not so fast!" Null said, Demon Light raining down before Zane could escape. "The bossman wants us to hand you to him on a silver platter. Cant have you escaping now, can we?"
Void, though having solidified the quicksand, was kneeling. "OW! THAT FIRE HURT! Im gonna have to kill you for that!" Void yelled, infuriated.
Null, the voice of reason, merely said,"We cant. He is to go to Pedalos. He, thus, may not be killed by us."
"Grrr...Hey...He has friends, dont he? Lets kill 'em, maybe take the girls for ourselves."
"That would be a suitable punishment indeed...But first..."
"Right, right, gotta do our jobs before pay. Your gonna die, shrimp! Got that? DIE!" Void yelled, Darkness surrounding Zane, and the center of the arena being surrounded by Light. The Darkness and Light had a slight charge, opposite each other, and enough to magnetise them. The magnetism would keep pulling Zane back in, stopping him from fleeing.
-
Zane let go of all emotion. "I forgive you everything. " he said as he let go of the restraint. Before he had always held his power in but now he would not for he didn't intend to remain their hostage much longer. Golden Holy Light burned through the darkness as red tinged black darkness burned through the light that had been created by his enemy. His gauntlets lit up and a scythe appeared in his hands. "Wind Cutter Scythe!" He released 5 blades of compressed air at them to cut them in half. -Help me- he screamed mentally to the elemental elders. Unleashing 10 more blasts of powerful flame Zane was hellbent on escaping Null and Void both.
"You will not take me to Pedalo. I would rather die first. "
-
They merely created a barrier of Light and Dark to shield themselves from the attacks, and used it to reinforce the barrier holding them all into the battlefield. Even as Zane said that to the Elders, though, something was wrong...They seemed to be inable to concentrate. They seemed...Empty.
"They cannot help you now...
"...For they lack even the motivation to help themselves."
"Our powers can affect them, you know."
"And you shall not escape us that easily. We shall tear apart your mind..."
"...And give you to that fool Pedalos as a souless husk!"
"Now wait, Null. He did say he'd rather die..."
"I suppose you are right, Void. We really could ablige..."
-
Zane held out his hand gathering the energy of the elements in his palm. “Though you may try to deliver me to Pedalo I can assure you that I will fight you every inch and step of the way as long as I am still alive. “ At that he slid the gauntlets off of his hand and pointed up at the sky. A white dragon came out of the sky and took the gauntlets and flew away. “Safe travel.†Said Zane as he prepared himself for what came next. He would awaken the power within his heart and unleash it all at once against his enemies.
“You know I just passed the gauntlets. Your work against the Elders may have prevented the gauntlets from being made able to combat Pedalo again by them but I am just as strong as they are. I hid their apprentices so that they would still be alive should the Elders and myself fall, there would be ones capable of fending you off along with your master Pedalo.†Growling in frustration he pointed his fists out and two balls, one of light and one of darkness formed above the one with the opposite element. Unclenching his fists he let the orbs descend slamming into Null and Void hopefully. The force of their opposite element would weaken them enough so that he could get away from both of them. He would have to do what he could to the Elders to put them back to normal.
“No. Now is not the time.†Opening his mouth Zane released white fire of it’s purest form at Null and Void along with the orb attack.
-
The two created a shield of Emptiness, blocking the attacks, and then focused it, to make it physical. It was separated, and each reformed into two shields, which they rushed for Zane from opposite sides, leaped up, and brought the shields down upon him, intending to cleave him in half from above with the shields.
-
Zane saw the shields coming and held out his fist. "Aura Slam!" Both the Light and the Darkness heeded his call for once and slammed into their opposite element which since they were close by would likely knock those two out hopefully. "Teleport!" He vanished in a brilliant flash of light.
-
The two merely evaded the attacks, jumping to the side. However, it'd proved a good diversion, and because they'd put their focus on Zane, the Elementals had gotten control of themselves again, and fled the battle. "...We lost them all..."
"Hmph. A minor annoyance. Lets see if we cant find them..."
And with that, the two teleported off.
-
"Elders. Forgive me. I had to hide the gauntlets in order to keep them safe. They won't be enough with the kind of power Pedalo wields now anyway. We will need something stronger than the gauntlets. Too bad we don't have armies of divine and other elementals rushing to our aid against Pedalo. I know how to fight Pedalo with the gauntlets but I fear they aren't enough anymore." Zane was scared of Pedalo and didn't have the gauntlets at the moment as he had hidden them away in his pocket dimension.
-
The Hunter looked at Zane, not showing any emotion. After a few seconds, he said,"Do not try to conceal your fear. It is a natural survival instinct, and if you are scared, trying not to show it will only cause stress."
The Witch Doctor then said,"As for Pedalos...Indeed, he if strong. Bu dont think for a second that the six hours we each used enchanting the guantlets were wasted. They are strong enough to defeat him, but not individually...Hmm...I have a idea..."
"Well, what is it?" The Pirate asked, getting a liiiitle impatiant.
"They're guantlets, which would mean that only one could be used. That would mean he'd have to choose. But...If they were one...Then he could use all their powers on command. Alchemist, could you fuse them together?"
"Hm...Tricky. It would take a while. Maybe a day, at most."
"Do we have that time?" The Knight asked, sitting on a rock, and bored.
"Thats up to him to decide, I'd think."
-
All of their powers on command was a thought that had never occurred to Zane before. He had realized why his father had lost and it was because he could not use all of the gauntlets at once rather than using them separately like a normal wielder. Tensing up Zane merely said to them “Here is how we will do it. You will be fusing the gauntlets into one. However while you do that I will be taking a journey to find the one other thing needed. An ancient sword called the blade of light which can cut through darkness like a hot knife through butter. I would appreciate it if the Hunter and the Knight accompanied me. “ At that Zane held out his fist opening a portal to the gate that they would need to go to for fusing the powers of all the gauntlets respectively into one form. His eyes sparked with red energy as he went into one of his terrible rages yet again and this time there was no one to calm him down since Maxima was dead.
-
"Such a blade, if it exists, wouldn't lie on this planet. And we would need to stay here to fuse together the gauntlets...There are the elements of Earth and Darkness that must be infused together." Dark said, going through the portal. He handed him a scroll before he went through. "In case you need some shade. The magic in that scroll can create a small patch of darkness which can block out a blinding light...Remember, Darkness can be used for good, just as Light can be used for evil."
As he went into the blood-rage-state-thingy, Pirate egged him on, saying,"Remember, its Pedalos who has done these things to you. He's the one who must be destroyed." She had a dark grin on her face as she spread the propaganda through his head, trying to influence him to use the power against Pedalos.
-
As he was egged on by the pirate and offered something by the Dark one who happened to be known as the Knight, Zane took the scroll offered. His rage was not in control of himself and he forced it to yield. His eyes glowed with blue light now and a blue aura had surrounded his body. “By forcing the power to accept me as it's only master I can control it.â€
At that a door way appeared near them. “I hate to break up this loving reunion.†said Kyle laughingly as he shot dark bolts at Zane which had no effect. “What the? Why isn't my darkness working against him?†Zane “Ursa Major!†A blue aura bear surrounded Zane and he tore through Kyle's dark barrier and hurled him through the door once more this time sealing it behind him. “And don't come back.â€
“Bridled Fury. I have learned on this day to control the power of the bloodlust so that it is no longer a danger to those I have befriended but only to those that prove themselves worthy of being my enemy. You will fuse the gauntlets and gather reinforcements while I go to find the sword. Your apprentices will all be coming with me to help me fight whatever guardian Pedalo assigned to prevent me from obtaining the blade.†Another portal opened, this time to the location of the sword and it opened in front of Zane.
Zane was irate and wanted to tear Pedalo limb from bloodily ripped off limb even though he had gained control of his fury somewhat he wasn't the master of that power yet. "Will your apprentices come with me?"
