Name: Ryt
Age: Currently not even a day old.
Race: Demi-God

Biography: Ryt was originally the embodiment of Death, or at least a very high ranking Reaper, Koty stole his spirit and wiped it clean, using it as a base for his final child. To be born anew Koty had to suffer three deaths, one of pestilence, of famine, and of war. When Faote killed Koty with the Lance he gave Ararus the final death. War.
Weapons: Unknown, naked right now.
Equipment: Unknown, naked right now.
Magic Level: Unknown, presumably Five as his brothers.

Approved.

Need to add a little edit here, or something.
Since Koty was killed with the Lance, which was used to kill Christ and therefore has the blood of God himself on it. Ryt was born oddly, he is a bit of Koty's son, and God's son. This will bring some unforeseen problems.
;D
-
Well, if thats true(forgive me if Im wrong), wouldn't that make him basically a clone of the original God before he was split into Koty and the Current one? Why would that make problems?
-
With that edit, I think I'm taking my approval back.
-
Not entirely, it would basically make him something very different, as it would not be a clone, but more of as a Base + Koty + God = Ryt, he'd be something unknown.
-
There's never been a Jesus in the RP, how are we to assume he existed in this one? Different beliefs say different things. Some, that he's god, some that he's strictly god's son, and wouldn't have divine blood.....Which one are we going with?
-
It would be the same as the AC, God had a kid with a mortal being, therefore a type of Demi-God, but stronger then Rogue and etc..
Would have divine blood. And we never played at the year of 1BC or if we did we never did it on Earth.
-
Well until the Jesus thing is settled, I'm not approving with your edit. I'd approve the original template, but not with the edit.

Ryt's abilities because everyone is whiny as balls.
1. Ryt has incredible strength, capable of picking up at LEAST sixteen tons.
2. Ryt has various levels of speed, ranging from human, to inhuman, to holy-shit-did-he-just-teleport?, and to yeah-he-just-teleported. His human limit is exactly 36 MPH, while the fastest he's capable of going is seven percent the speed of light. Although that is very dangerous for him, as if he trips or hits a wall.. Ouch. He does this through a natural warp system, folding the Space in front of him.
3. He's a level three magic user, the only thing he usually uses this for is traversing the dimensions, and things he incapable of doing naturally.
4. His skin is capable of absorbing a large amount of kinetic and EM energy, the energy is absorbed into his metabolism and if his body cannot handle anymore he can vent it. It's also stronger then corvette class armor.
5. Ryt is also capable of opening wormholes, and hyperspace windows, at will.
6. Ryt can "refuse" death, if he were ever to die he can come back to life through his own force of will, although the strain of this puts him into a short resting period were he is very vulnerable.
-
Everything except for the speed part approved. What's his acceleration? He can't go 7% the speed of light around tight corners, and the g-force would be massive.
-
#5, #6, and #2 not approved.
-
Oh I forgot about that, his body can withstand up to five-thousand G's, without it being any danger to him, but anything higher can pose a risk. But yes, at a certain speed he'd have to slow down to go around corner.
And don't just say. "Not approved." give a damn reason Hikaru.
-
But how long would it take to get top speed, if he only had to go straight?
-
What? Don't like a taste of your own medicine?
Anyways, #6, definitely not. You can't just refuse death. If dies, then what? He just says he doesn't want to be a spirit anymore and solidifies? WTF? If the body dies they have to either body hop or get judged, just refusing it makes no sense. And is that just a regular death, or is that spirit death as well?
#5, Aren't these tech things? For magic it'd be possible albeit really hard. But for a person of only lvl 3 magic that doesn't reply on it? Too powerful..
Also.. (Offtopic >.> You stole my word, I used Traverse, first.)
Anyways.. #2, you need magic for supers speeds and if you warped it like you said, wouldn't that warp it for everyone else in that space as well?
Too powerful of a character for having only lvl3 magic.
-
Top speed? Three miles to get to seven percent the speed of light, but that's due to him warping the Space in front of him.
-
I have to agree with Hikaru on #6 and #5. There would have to be a reason why the death is refused, and what happens in the short resting period? Would he be vulnerable to death? I think lvl 3 magic can do hyperspace windows and wormholes, but between dimensions? No.
#2 approved.
Due to your post, your abilities don't seem to be affected by the AM field. If the abilities aren't from magic, then what?
-
The reason is Ryt was a high-ranking reaper, or the embodiment of Death before he was Koty's son, this gives him a modem of control over Death. But his full power in that area was weakened greatly when he became Koty's son.
It's his own body that does so.
-
His body needs a reason to do so.
And reapers have to die sometime, too. You can't just refuse death if the rest of us can't.
-
It's how his body was set up, he's not a human being but as I said a Demi-God, the ritual that Koty went through to create Ryt at he is now created such a body.
But Reapers still have a small control over Death, Ryt still has enough control to refuse Death once before needing to rest as it incapacitates him.
-
You still didn't explain how he's able to do these abilities. Speed isn't death. Being a high-ranking Reaper doesn't say much about speed.
And I just realized something. You can just crash into walls at high speeds, which would strengthen him, as he would absorb the kinetic impact. #4 not approved.
-
That's not a good enough reason to give him godmod abilities without magic. Demi-god or not. Koty's sealed, so that totally wouldn't work for you.
And STILL no, you can't just refuse it. Not all reapers would have control over death, even high ranking. You'd have to control death its self. And even then, God controls life. You may be able to refuse death, but that'd make you undead, not living, because you can't call life.
-
If you don't know Koty died three different times to create Ryt, each time he died he momentarily was unsealed from the transition from alive to dead. This moments allowed for him to create Ryt's body and give him the abilities.
And no, God controls Creation, and Ryt reenters his body and it undergoes a healing process. And sure, what the hell ever, it would actually be HARDER to kill Ryt if he became undead.
-
You're essentially making Ryt immune to death, Orpheus. Yeah, it exhausts him massively, but there is still the fact that, with that ability, he cannot die.
-
He can die, just the only way to kill him is to kill him AGAIN, after he revives, or destroy his spirit.
-
Now that I actually think of it, #2 is unapproved. 3 miles is too short to go 7% of light. 3 miles to go 21,000 kilometers per second? No.
-
Actually no, the way he does it he doesn't truly accelerate. Remember he warps the area around him and the Space behind him PUSHES him forward, it takes three miles because he has to gradually accelerate, he could in fact go that fast right off the bat, but it would be dangerous.
-
Even warp would need to accelerate.
-
Not as long as you would think though, I'm pretty sure three miles would be sufficient, but you need to realize that he would rarely ever go that fast, the only time I could think he would use it if he has to run across a very, very large planet.
-
I think Orph is trying to say "He's too stubborn to die." I mean after all he can resist from sheer willpower.
This how I imagine it:
*Grim Reaper pops up*
"Ok, time to go"
*Ryt looks at him smuggly* "No."
"What do ya' mean 'no'?"
"I'm not gonna die. I've got stuff to do."
*Grim Reaper looks at him for a minute obviously stunned then checks the Grim Reapers Guide to Reaping* "B-but nobodies ever just said no to death! You can't just say no and walk away from it!"
"No."
"Damnit! Too stubborn!! Crap!" *poofs away*
-
I hate to say it, but that'd be a pretty shitty Reaper.
-
Yeah, but really what else could he do?
-
Yeah, but really what else could he do?
Rape. I mean reap.
-
Lol. the people usually just come with him. He might not know what to do.
-
I don't know about that.
-
And it doesn't really matter anyway. It was just a joke, after all.
:P
-
...Reaper'd probably just drag him back to the Spirit Realm himself. Even if the guy goes back in his body, Grimmy would probably drag him out, yelling something like,"IF YOU WANNA LIVE AGAIN, YOU NEED TO BEAT ME IN A GAME DAMNIT!" while beating the spirit witha stick.
And I am completely serious with that. ._.
-
Thats... another interpretation.
-
Reaper vs Nerdy Mcnerdpants. Modern Warfare 2. GO GO GO.
-
Nah, Halo: Reach! Yah! Gittyup!
-
Actually...Thats technically allowed, K2. Its a game, after all, so...XD
-
Lolhalo.
...wait, this is totally inappropriate for this topic and blablabla [insert responsible mod lecture here]. Back on topic, kids.
-
Says the kid himself.
Not approved for the refusing death and speed thing.
-
who are we not approving? ;o
-
The person this topic is about, dude. And mostly his new abilities.
-
oritelol
-
*facepalm*
-
DUDE. RYT IS LIKE... POWERFUL. BUT LIKE... yeah, Hikaru's right about her points.
-

Too powerful of a character for having only lvl3 magic.
Alright then, I'll kick the Reaper's ass every single time.
#5: As I said, he can do it naturally with his own body, doesn't use magic.
#2: He warps the exact area right in-front of him to be less amount of Space then there is behind him, the Space behind him would try to fix the warp Space naturally and by doing so would push Ryt forward. The much the Space is warped defines how fast he will go. And as I said, magic isn't used for this, it's his own body doing so. Think of him as a biological "messupspace" machine.
-
I would think that the warp acceleration wouldn't be so fast, especially from a person. The stress would be too much if it accelerates that fast.
-
As I've said, Ryt isn't human, he doesn't have a human body, annndd fuck it alright. Ryt requires ten miles to accelerate to top speed.
-
But on a more serious note than my other posts.... This character is pretty powerful, but perfectly non-godmodding. It is a little wierd that he can make those portals without strong magical talent, him being only a level 3 mage. Other than that it looks fine, with the exception of resisting death through stubborness. And he isn't human and made by Koty, so he should be able to resist a lot more pressure and G's than we normal mortals could.
-
I disagree, the character can just refuse death.
-
Because he was a reaper?
-
I already said that I took that off. :D
-
I would also like to have the absorption abilities taken away, as well. You can purposely run into a wall at high speeds, and then you grow stronger. And you would also go faster than terminal velocity of any planet, which would make him burn up. But since he can absorb EM energy, infrared included, which is heat, he gets stronger from going faster.
-
In that case, lets get rid of the EST.
-
I specifically said he has a limit, if tries something like that it would kill him, and yes, why do you think he fights naked? He's always incredibly hot due to running faster then the atmosphere allows, and if he would to run into a wall and high speed, lets say half his full speed, he'd be hurt more then he gains.
-
Fine.
-
Bump.
