(You wouldn't have time to chant a spell, seeing as there is a seal going as fast as a bullet straight towards you.)
-
(Who says spells have to be said slowly?)
-
OOC: Kai's right, it could be done in enough time.
-
OOC: Actually depends on the length of the chant, I'm damn sure he can't speak faster then a bullet can move. And hell, they are like within thirty feet of each other.
-
OOC: Well according to a logical stand point we're technically not on "Earth" therefore do to gravity and physics it would depend on the location on how fast a bullet could travel, not to mention the dragon was already rebuilt again and moving torwards you from the front defending me therefore it would be still eating the seals, and you didn't respond within the 3 day limit >:[
-
OOC: The Dragon was rebuilt by the spell used in the chant, and Hell has the same physics and gravity that Earth does. 3 day rule only works if you call it out, but as you didn't. It doesn't matter.
-
yes it does count you didn't reply within 3 days, and the spell didn't rebuild the dragon
-
This damn match has been held up for ages now. Kai fought fairly, even K2 posted agreeance. Orph refuses to post. Kai calls him out on 3 days, which is the rules and fair. I say Kai wins the match, or round one will never end, the way these two are going. If Orph refuses to post, until Kai's attack is invalidated, and Kai refuses to change it. It'll forever be a standstill. Either find something to disqualify them both.
Or let Kai call it out.
-
The thing is he's trying to say that Kai can talk faster then a bullet can move, his dragon was his shield, which was destroyed and only rebuilt by his spell. Or in the same post. It wouldn't be recreated instantly and even then a seal would get through.
And no, the three day rule only works if the person calls them out, but as he called me out AFTER an issue was raised the three day rule is invalid.
-
The issue was said to be invalid, so he can still call it out.
Whatever. JUST FIND SOME WAY TO END OR CONTINUE THE MATCH.
It's been days now. Are we ever even going to get to the second rounds?!
-
I'm siding with Kai.
-
I'm afraid I'm going to have to side with him too.
-
How? Since the fuck when can people talk faster then a bullet? Just give me a reason that he can do that, and I'll shut up.
-
He's a mage. Mages can increase the speed of various different body processes with relative ease.
But anyway, I was mistaken, only skimmed through the thread quickly. Reread it, I have to agree with Orph. Not even Kai would be able to speak that fast without preparation, and no preparation was posted.
-
Fine, so Orph gets it.
-
Kai's more stubborn than Orph, he'll stall the battle until he wins....You do realize this, right?
-
Well...Thats what the three day rule is for.
-
Re opening subject. Since when can canes cast seal spells ultimately faster than bullets in the first place? I don't remember hearing any words or preparation for that. Therefore case re opened.
-
It's called magic.
Case-assraped.
-
Magic is not sole power, its an entity so unless your cane is a person I do believe that would be physically impossible to perform seals with the cane itself. Because seals are not just normal magic like elemental type attacks thank you very much.
-
I would say Orph wins. Otherwise we're going to be having this argument to the end of the year.
-
the cane, in this case, is an external medium.
-
Kinda like a staff or wand for a wizard in traditional medieval things.
-
But caneyier.
-
Still shouldn't be able to shoot seals, seals require preparation just as any other type of "special" magic. Just because the cane is an external medium doesn't prevent it from requiring preparation. That would be god like without preparation. :D And I'm pretty sure we never agreed on giving orpheaus anymore godly powered characters.
