They've gone to far, there shouldn't be such a widespread one-hundred percent effective technology. Unless it really, really drains power.

It's retarded, and seriously needs to be toned down. At first it was ok, because it wasn't used widespread. But now it's gone way to fucking far. World-sized anti-stuff fields. Especially when they're supposedly one-hundred percent effective.

Yes, but they have a soul that is thouuussaaands times the size of a single virus particle.

That sounds stupidly overpowered. A microscopic little thing can use produce magic and use magic, even when it takes Sages years for their soul to be able to produce energy capable of anything you know..cool.

One thing I never understood about the Virus? How can it produce and control magic? Other species require a soul, or a weave. A virus doesn't have either. Another thing, to adapt to cold, or heat. It's going to need more matter of some kind, it can't just poof it out of nowhere. Even if it is magic, materialization isn't a novice spell in the first place.

He doesn't necessarily turn it to nothing, he just breaks it down to such a point where it is effectively ''nothing''.

If you read the first posts it did actually say that.

If you'd even pay attention he's using it in blasts, which can be dodged. And even if said blasts hit you, if you say shield yourself with a magic spell, it would take more energy for the blast to render you nonexistent. Which would mean, he'd have to shoot at you again, but stronger. Meaning it can be blocked. :/

The way we had it set was that Universes and Dimension were separate, there was the Multiverse, which involved the infinite number of parallel universes. And then Dimensions, which were separate from the Multiverse, completely different things.

As Fate itself appeared above Japan, as did Destruction, intent on finding it's former "ally" and having a bit of a discussion. Instead what it found a nasty little bug that needed to be squished. Even if he was Destruction, the thought that something would naturally infect and kill everything around it, just to reproduce..was disgusting. Then again, people did that too. Just slower.

He was winded from the encounter with Plex's Apostle, but not enough which the four wouldn't hold, he still had time before he'd have to change back. Change back into the sniveling little bastard Koty.

"We need to discuss something Fatet, but not now." Destruction commented to itself, reaching out with his hand waves of pure annihilation were sent forth, breaking down anything it came into contact with into nothing.

Goof Off! / Re: Monster Hunter RP topic
« on: November 19, 2010, 03:51:56 PM »
Name: Matry Endavus
Age: Twenty-three.
Gender: Male.
Hunter Rank: HR1
Preferred Weapon(s): Knucklers and DS. His "claws and fangs."
Bio: Matry was born into the hunting business, his Father was a hunter, his Mother was a hunter. It didn't take him to long before they decided that he was also going to be a hunter. At first they taught him all they knew about monsters, their weaknesses, their strengths, their habits, and where you'd most likely find them. He is a living encyclopedia on nearly every monster anyone knows about, followed by strategies and traps to get them. But that is as far as his attention span went. When they tried to teach him how to make different drinks, or how to cook he seemed to fail miserably over and over again. That's why he usually hunts with a partner(s), as he can take care of himself when it comes to killing a monster, but he'd die of starvation without someone around.

But those were the early years, the easy years. It didn't take long for life to come and knock his whole world onto it's head. He was practically the last in the village to hear the news, the news about how his parent's Felyne companion was found half-dead at the borders of the village. When it finally came to it told the story of how his parents had been hired to hunt and kill the infamous White God, Ukanlos. The fact that they didn't come back, was all that Matry cared about. He understood that they had obviously taken a job that was a bit to much for them to chew, but in the end he didn't care that they had been a bit arrogant. All he cared about was how he lost his parents, how they were now dead.

With that he continued down his path towards becoming a hunter, it didn't take long for him to rank up. Brutally killing his targets with his large gauntlets and his dual swords, which he refers to as his claws and fangs. He's been described as a berseker when the battle begins, recklessly charging forward and punching a Rathalos right in the face. But he knows what he's doing when it comes to killing the beasts, he may act like a lunatic, but it's all "part of his plan." Sadly he does usually have a plan, he knows where to hit, how to hit, and when to hit it. It's all thanks to his parents that he does, them teaching him all he knows about monsters has kept him killing quite well over the years.
Mount: Urukususu or Aoashira.
Guild Title: Mad-Hound of Yukumo.

"How droll." Lincoln muttered as his short frame looked up at the red orb that seemed to shine light on the world below. He had been sent to acquire this specific item by his creator and master, Koty. How he would go about doing such..would require some thinking. Sighing quietly the sentient construct turned it's head towards the person who appeared to have woken up. He hadn't noticed her until she stood up, mainly because he was busy focusing on the orb. She looked young, and that would make his next job rather unpleasant. He was under strict orders to remain unseen and unheard. That meant that if she saw him, or even heard him. Or even thought that there was someone here, he'd be forced to kill her.

And Lincoln wasn't in the mood to cast a displacement spell, in fact he was in the mood to kill someone. Even thought he acted like a gentleman he had an innate blood-thirst. It reared it's ugly head every now and then, but that was ok, the little man had no qualms about killing innocents. He found it fun, as if he was a child with a magnifying glass, and they were but ants.

Clearing his throat before fully turning towards the female he wore a modest smile. "Hello, what brings you to such an odd place?" He asked in a seemingly harmless tone.

"You wont stop me, prophecy or not.. I am Destruction. The Half-King. It will take so much more then an abomination such as you..to kill me." The violet King announced to the darkness around him, and with a heavy sigh he vanished.

"You will not hinder me Apostle." Destruction called out, with a renewed but strained effort the Destruction increased, the marks on it's brilliant violet skin seemed to glow even brighter, till the point they were actually burning the tissue around him. Obviously causing pain for Destruction, although he was intent on not letting it show.

With an angry grunt what appeared to be a pulse of Destruction left his form, a wave in every direction reducing the black ice to nothing but just that..nothing. Following the pulse through the air the violet shape reached out with one clenched fist, intent on it making contact with the spawn's face. If it did it would surely spell the end for him, despite how strong the thing was it couldn't make direct contact with Destruction, nothing in this reality could. Except of course, Creation.

They waited, the army waited. At the edges of the barrier, making no hostile movements nor acting as if they would leave anytime soon.

But Destruction didn't seem phased, apathetic to the happenings around him. The Black Ice surrounding him only to be burnt away to nothingness as it touched his violet skin, he was an entity that embodied Destruction, and in truth it is what gave him physical shape. He was a force given corporeal form, even though he was still sealed away.

"No choice left then. Bring me the Phoenix." He called out to his army, the massive amount of creatures shot forth, mercenaries, soldiers, generals, creatures, so-called gods and goddess, things that shouldn't exist, and things that never did. They all charged forth, intent on following their master's whim.

They stopped when the portal closed, only for it to open as what appeared to be nothing but a floating eye glanced in it's direction. It was an All-Eye, an entity from a rather obscure dimension. Only known for it's ability to see Space and Time in perfect harmony. Once that portal's closed rip was detected it was only a quick work of magic to reopen it.

Within moments the army charged forth, following them.

As for Destruction, he waited, giving a small amount of his power to increase the portal's size, allowing for more of the army to pass through for every second that went by. "The battle is between us Apostle, no one more, no one less." The great king of half the world said, raising his hand and letting loose what could only be described as a wave of Destruction, taking the form of a light mirage, although everything it touched seemed to be ripped atom from atom, and then quark by quark, and bit by bit, and so on. Till it was nothing but such a far gone piece of matter that it didn't even register on the most sensitive of sensors.

"That child is not something Koty or you can handle, it's a weapon. A living weapon designed to kill me, and all those like me. It's a God-Killer. I'm at least his equal. And even then I may still require assistance. The prophecy foretold of MY death, but I'm just one side of the coin, unseal me, and I'll die, but I can at least make sure that Koty lives." Destruction offered, holding out his hand towards the great phoenix. "This story is the death of Destruction, not the death of Koty." Destruction reassured, hoping she would just do it already. He wouldn't be able to hold back Plex even in his loosened-seal state. Not for long anyway.

A smirk appeared on the child's face, raising his hand what appeared to be an image of Koty in his youth appeared. "Koty doesn't exist. He's a side-effect of the seal placed on me, an artificial moral system created as a way to limit my own personality. You fell in love with nothing more then a spell, and a sloppy one at that." Destruction responded, clenching his fist as the image blinked out of existence, even the energy used to create it no longer existed, utterly Destroyed.

Drums.

The sounds of drums filled the air, the sound of music, calls to war, calls for blood and action! It was time that Koty met the one who Fate determined would bring about his death. Koty was no longer Koty, he was no longer Ararus, he was no longer human. He was Destruction, if not only for a little while. His four sons, his trump cards. Conquest, Famine, War, and Death. The Heralds of Destruction, they weren't just agents of his will. They were the keys to his power, working in tandem they could be used as an medium to channel the forces of Destruction through the seal, not breaking it, not by a long shot. But they cracked open the door that was once locked, and the flood of power behind it did just that. It flooded.

Appearing as if he was always there in the first place the entity smiled, or at least appeared to be smiling. It had no physical form, it was now just a force, a will grafted onto a power so simple and yet so far beyond your understanding. But within an instant there stood a violet child, an army of forces, minds, magic, and muscle followed in his wake. Mortals, immortals, embodiments, undead, alive, holy, and unholy. Nothing was left out, and everyone was welcome.

"Bird, please release the seal fully. Otherwise this abomination here will kill me and my army. It hasn't even started to attack you yet, and look at you, already resorting to that small fragment of my power." The child said, it's violet skin seemingly absorbing the light, yet giving off the color anyway. Destruction was entirely violet, it's skin, eyes, hair, even it's breath seemed to be violet. Except for four different runes that seemed to be etched into it's formed, one black, one brown, one red, and one white.

Nor can you have a fun and fairly constructed RP if one choice easily outweighs the other option.

Void / Re: Hey.

And neither is magic, well it is but up until now I was sure it was bound to the laws of the universe. It made the RP fair, saying the magic isn't limited means it's absolutely the winner. Meaning magic, at every single turn, win. This makes the RP unbalanced.

Then why the fuck should technology be forced to follow the laws of the universe?
