FADM Regis F. Hermitage
|-Callsign: OVERLORD
Zarethian Military High Command
Status: ACTIVE/WIA (Wounded in Action)

The battle was over and Regis was still alive. It was only days ago that the city was under seige and their utter annihilation was imminent. He was now the head of the military -- a fate placed upon him by his friend's untimely demise. He took solace in the fact that it may not be for long as the military high command needed to officially appoint a new person to the position of High Admiral. Current standings were divided between Hermitage and Aki Sora who was still up in orbit coordinating the transportation of aid and defense.

Hermitage headed down the familiar corridors of the capital building weary and now assisted by a cane. Having been out in the front of the battle, he caught a bullet early on, but refused to see a doctor until the fight was over. He didnt quite mind the cane. It added a bit of distinction he figured.

The building itself was being repaired from the extensive damage it had received in the closing moments of the war. Many make shift fortifications were still standing and offices were trashed for the most part. Hermitage finally approached a large wooden door to the meeting room, but could only focus on the bullet holes and blood on it. This once great and beautiful building had been turned into a war victim. Sad in his eyes.

He took a minute to compose himself and opened the door to go in. Immediately he was greeted with a loud voice from the Sergeant at Arms yelling, "Admiral on deck!" He watched as everyone in the room stood up at attention.

"As you were." he said and everyone sat back down in their respective places. Around the room he would see the name plates of the now deceased councilors that had once used this room. In their place was an appointed council of government officials that had once ran the departments. He could see Councilman Hamilton -- the only actual living councilor under the Zarethian Constitution having been appointed in the death of the final councilor from his position of Senate Leader. Several of the lesser generals and admirals who were still living, a few magistrates, Secretary for Energy, Foreign Minister, and a few senators he recognized among others.

It was time to start the reconstruction...

Col. Andrei Tarkov
|-Callsign: GOLD EAGLE
Zarethian Hand, Homeland Intervention Response Team
Status: ACTIVE

Colonel Andrei Tarkov rushed into the courthouse, now a makeshift hospital, and went straight to the military corporal who was acting as a receptionist. He was a little short handed seeing as the majority of the Hand was wiped out, and was helping out with the accountability of remaining personnel who werent already listed as KIA (Killed in Action).

After flashing his HIRU badge the corporal immediately stood up at attention now recognizing the colonel in her presence. "As you were marine." he said. "Im looking for a Hand Agent, Kveta Kauliya. Serial number 2531-1090-KK. Your records indicate that she is in here."

The corporal nodded and looked through a few papers before handing Tarkov one. "Patient 4991. East Trauma wing. Under the care of Lt. Colonel Scott." he told Tarkov. Without another word, Tarkov took the paper and rushed off the wing.

He walked into teh wing and was greeted by a captain who was one of the doctors on duty. "Sir, you cant be in h---" he stopped after seeing Tarkovs expression and the Colonel ranks on his shoulder. "Im sorry sir. Is there anything I can help you with? Im Captain Blake one of the doctors on duty in this unit."

"Yes Captain. I need to know the status of Patient 4991 and if possible i need to speak with her." he said to the lower ranking officer.

"Yes sir. Patient 4991, Lt. Kveta Kauliya, Zarethian Hand. Serial number 2531-109--" he was immediately halted by Tarkov.

"Yes Captain. Thats the one." Tarkov said.

"Ok. She was found in a vehicle ambush 20 miles out from the line of engagement. 1 gunshot wound to the abdomen. We removed the bullet, and stiched her up. She is up and alive as of 15 minutes ago, sir. Bed 269." the captain informed him.

"Thank you Captain." Tarkov said and passed by him. He walked along the large tent's pathways counting to himself the bed numbers. "266... 267... 268... 269." he said and stopped in front of the bed. He looked up to see his missing agent. "I guess you really are too stubborn to die on us Agent Kauliya." he said to her and gave her a warm smile -- a rarity these days.

FADM Aki Sora
|-Callsign: Foxtrot-3 Actual
Zarethian Navy, 3rd Fleet, ZNS Battlemage
Status: ACTIVE

The Third Fleet stood proudly in orbit. Thanks to the decisive fighting from their Fleet Admiral, Aki Sora, the fleet had managed to take on the captured ships from the other 3 fleets, and defeated them, losing only a fourth of her own vessels and saving the Zarethians from annihilation from their own weapons. If people werent already proud of their navy, they were now. Word spread to the ground quickly after the battle was over and Sora was a superstar now.

Of course she couldnt leave the fleet just yet. The battle was over, but there was still work to be done. A large influx of traffic was now coming to Teffilin with aid for the war-torn planet, and it was still her job to defend it. She sat at her captain's chair and oversaw the operations of the bridge crew who were acting as space traffic controllers. A large screen depicted the diagram of the ships in orbit and docking at the space port.

She leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes... Dreaming of her lover Maxis hoping he was still alive. She managed to bring a smile before jumping in her chair as a communications officer started to shout. "K Empire Vessel NVA-502 emergency redirect. Climb 10000 meters on Y-Axis. 10000 meters on X-Axis. DAIS Vessel IHOP descend -10000 meters on Y-Axis. -10000 meters on x-axis. Collision imminent!" he shouted as both vessels acknowledged.

On the large screen and red flashing alert warned them of the collision danger, and zoomed in on the 2 ships. Aki and several officers watched the screen closely as the 2 ships approached eachother. Aki leaned forward as the ships got close and sat back as the ships passed and the red message went away. She sighed looked at the communications officer who went back to work.

It was going to be a fun day...

"Attention: Go back in your homes. This area is officially under quarantine for suspected presence of dangerous chemicals. This is not a drill."

The man's voice was loud, resounding. The sight was something like a war zone -- which, of course, this planet had been, just a few hours ago. Rubble in the streets, ashes everywhere. Children crying. Currently, a tank was driving down Road 493, better known as Maple Lane Avenue. From this tank, a single man, well armoured with a small, black device -- a voice amplifier -- was telling people to get back in doors, which they kindly did. Behind the tank, to help encourage the people, were what must have been a hundred men armoured with ZPAA equipment, marching in step.

This was the new normal for the Zarethians.

Inside the tank, there were three other men.

"My God," one said. "What the hell have we come to?"

"The brink of the end of our civilization," the other replied.

"This isn't right. The war's over. This isn't how it should be."

"What did you expect? A finish line? A medal? Just keep your head down and do your job."

"Right... But... terrorists? Really? We finish kicking these Revenge guys' asses, and now, we have to deal with this? What the hell is wrong on this planet?"

"Something terrible," the other replied, "Something... very... very... terrible."

15.2 Miles Away
    _REFUGEE CAMP ECHO
    CENTRAL COURTHOUSE RUINS

The central courthouse had been hit hard. The entire district around it had -- much worse than most areas on the planet. There were only a few buildings left in sight. Bodies littered what had once been streets. Blood coated what had once been concrete. There was some effort to organize the madness currently ongoing -- bodies being sorted, attempts to identify them. A small area outside the courthouse itself had largely been cleared of debris to make way for tents. A camp had been set up here to aid those who needed it, and it was quickly becoming a huge camp -- a place to go for those who's homes had been destroyed, those who needed medical supplies.

And more importantly... Those who needed hope.

Inside a hospital tent, anyone with medical training -- and many without -- flurried around trying to help the dying. On one particular stretcher, there was a woman, eyes closed... And then, they opened. Taking in the surroundings. Trying, desperate, so desperate, to understand what was happening -- what had happened -- what was going to happen. Trying. Trying.

Kveta Kauliya was alive. And awake. Glancing down, she could see that she was still dressed in her military uniform. She hadn't been military, of course, until... Well... A few hours ago. Every able soul had been needed -- to help fight. She suspected they would return her status to civilian now that the war was over. But then, she kind of liked the ring of Lieutenant Kveta Kauliya. It helped to have friends in high p-

She shot up straight in the bed, and a nearby medic quickly came to calm her down.

"Ma'am, you're recovering from a gunshot wound. Please, you have to be still, or you'll tear your stitches!"

"My friend! The man I was travelling with! Did he make it?"

The woman looked down at her clipboard, searching. "Patient Number 4991... Um... I'm sorry, ma'am. There must be some kind of mistake. You were found alone. Your vehicle was ambushed. There was nobody else in the vehicle. What was his name? I can -"

"That's okay," Kveta replied, swinging her legs around to the side of the bed and standing.

"Ma'am, you need to -"

"Thank you for your help," Kveta cut the woman off, "Keep up the good work. History will remember people like you as heroes in the aftermath of this tragedy."

And with that, Kveta walked away.

BALEVILLE CITY; 200 MILES EAST OF THE CAPITAL CITY
MARION-ABBY SPACEPORT
EMERGENCY OFF-WORLD DOCKING

From all over the galaxy, and beyond, help was arriving by the shiploads. The space over Tefillin was immaculate, with ship upon ship of so many different nationalities, everywhere. From each of those hundreds of ships, smaller landing crafts were being deployed, and many were landing at the Marion-Abby Spaceport, where emergency docking had been set up for relief effort volunteers. It was one hell of a sight. It was help.

"FRC, this is Kappa Epsilon Fate Niner, Bird 112, requesting permission to dock."
"112, this is flight control, you have clearance to dock in hangar Charlie, dock 4. I repeat -- hangar Charlie, dock 4. Over."
"Understood, flight control. You have no idea how good it is to hear you guys are alive down there."
"Yeah, we're just glad to see help coming so quickly. Watch your landing. Our auto-docking systems are down, so it's a real bitch."

As the K Empire transport bird number 112 glided into it's designated hangar bay, Shane Mikein felt like he was in a daze. Just a few hours ago, he'd been on the verge of death on a Narrikian planet as it neared it's final moments. Now, he was here... Alive. Working with a K Empire humanitarian group. On Tefillin. His life, over the last couple of hours, had been hell -- and now he was entering the left-behind ruins of a war zone. This was not what he'd imagined he'd be doing today when he woke up.

And as, minutes later, he and the rest of the team he was travelling with rode away from the space-port in a large jeep, he found himself looking out in the distance... Thinking. Wondering.

"The entire planet's under martial law," he heard one K Empire relief worker say, "Everyone make sure they have their ID's ready. We're going to be hitting quite a few checkpoints."

What the hell had happened?

Through the rust and mud, as well as the darkness, she would just barely be able to make out her new hair color... As well as Insana smiling behind her and melting into the ground.

"I think it suits you well!" His voiced echoed throughout the area.

Genesis Castle / Visit

The K Empire:  One of the allies the Narrikians had. Unlike the Vionix Scum they had never double crossed the Narrikians. With Memorial lost the Narrikians would need to recruit both the K Empire and the Anrufe survivors to their side of the war. For if they were to win this battle a lot would need to be done by them. As Lucien thought about it he approached the Genesis Castle and found the knocker on the door.  Earlier he had arrived here via teleportation and had asked around until he found the Genesis Castle. His dad was dead. Silas was dead. It seemed everyone he attached to perished.  Lucien looked around and saw the beautiful landscape near the Genesis Castle. It almost reminded him of the palace he would have lived in on Memorial. Now it was gone and gone forever and Memorial could never be rebuilt. Tears dripped from his eyes, but he quickly wiped them away. It would not do to mourn. Only one thing would make him happy and that was revenge on the hated Vionix.  The Genesis Castle reminded him of his that he would soon build on Avariel and so Lucien knocked again. Today a chapter n the life of the Narrikians ended...and a new on began.

"GRRRR. NO! NO! NO! NO! AND NO!" Hikaru ripped off the sign and threw it and the shovel down before directing her attention back downward. Something was not right... She had baerly given a glance down when she had felt the sign and read before she had ripped it off. But now as she looked down at herself once more...

"..." Suddenly Hikaru's eyes widened as it somewhat dawned on her. Since when were they that big...? And since when was the floor that far down..? ... How did he? When did he? The unkempt rage started to boil inside of Hikaru as she growled in an attempt to suppress a shriek of anger "INSANA! How dare you, you bastard!"

How dare he mess with the body of one of the Sage Three! What else had that moron changed? and when? Hikaru scrambled to grab the shovel in an attempt to see herself through the rust by using it as sort of a mirror.

Caelum / Re: The Other Sages

The response would be enough to take some, if not most, of the masses that were gathering in the streets of Caelum by surprise...

A giant arm shot forth out of the puddle, through a wall, towards the masses outside. An arm made of the same golden liquid as the woman. It was... An arm of protection. It did not attack, but it did sort of symbolize a hand stopping the army... It was telling them to stop. Radiating with Dust of Creo, the army would feel something supernatural coming from this arm, something they could not quite describe. But it was not a threat. Yet.

Inside, the woman continued.

"You ask what the work is... You ask why you need an army. A great.... enemy has arisen. STEP FORTH, sons of the past... And take the reigns of the future. Allow me to show you... Your enemy."

Holding out her hands, a golden sphere of light formed between them. The golden sphere became slightly transparent, and the twins would be able to see a picture in the middle of the sphere... A picture of a growing army of all kinds of beings, marching loudly. Humans, sages, "angels", "demons", Aralangs, Relorians, and so much more. The army wore dark uniforms, almost like jumpsuits, made of a strange, black fibre, with red marks upon them. And where were they marching?

Through the darkness that was Plex.

The Sage army of Caelum appeared in and around the house. A blue, transparent sphere appeared around the house, including underneath it. With the Sages being as protective of the dimension of Caelum as they are right now, Arlgon was not in the least surprised.

Of the crowd of Sages, one stepped forward. "What is the meaning of this?" he demanded.

Arlgon kept silent, and watched what was happening.

Though they had heard what he had said in answer, both Kotah and Ezael gave no response to Arlgon. Their attention was now held by the puddle and only the puddle as the singing arose from its depths. They continued to stand there and merely stare, their eyes transfixed on its surface and the woman that arose up from it. What was going on? Though it felt familiar to them, neither Kotah nor Ezael had ever experienced anything like this, at least, not since...  Not since they had succeeded their father Koty as the embodiment of Destruction.

But Destruction? That's what the woman had said. How did she know? And what work was it that she spoke of? They had been given no knowledge of what it was they were supposed to do as the new Embodiment of Destruction, only their fathers memories as a guide. And that guide was a lot to take in. Realms? Army? Was it not these same things that led to their father being sealed in the first place?

"W-what is the work?" Kotah at least stammered.

"..And why does it require an army?" Ezael asked as well as the both of them cringed ever so slightly at the scene this was causing. If every sage in the area didn't know who Kotah and Ezael were before, they did now. What with the singing, the magic, and the words said. That was bound to attract all who sensed it.

Caelum / Re: The Other Sages
« Last post by K2 on July 30, 2013, 07:20:58 PM »
Suddenly, from the other side of the portal, there came in a swift moment, a sign of the future, and the shape of things to come. Let it be recorded, then, my dear readers, that this was the mark of destiny. Something exquisite was about to happen, but any particular sage in the realm would not know why, only that it was true. Yes, they would feel it, radiating from the portal, the sense of creation, grand creation, something indistinctly familiar to the sages, buried in their DNA, a trace of a memory of the ancestors who were once likewise created... An instinct of fate.

And from the other side of the portal, there came a voice, radiating into Caelum, a voice of majestic angels, singing an ancient song, long forgotten by the creations of the embodiments -- a war hymn from the Harbinger.

"The reaper comes to see you.
Reaper comes to see you.
Holding out a soul to steal.
The reaper wants to eat you."

Bubbling.

The form of a woman began to rise from the puddle, a woman singing in the chorus of angels, her voice crisp and clean. The woman was made of golden liquid, like the puddle itself, and seemed to be wearing a dress, covering her body, stopping just above her bust. With golden eyes and skin and clothes, she blinked at the group as she continued singing the dark hymn until it had ended, and the voices of the angels radiated in an after-glow, a hum, gently heard in the background, as the woman began to speak.

"Destruction. Are you ready to begin your father's work? The time has come, and a great crisis has spread throughout your realms. Alas, come forth, and take your reigns as one voice upon your lieges. Your army awaits you."
