Maxima was piloting a small useless piece of junk towards Lorcar. Focusing on the task at hand she unleashed a small sphere which once outside her ship would become the size of the planet and devour it.

The Bio-Ship fleet always in orbit defensively whipped their heads at the attacker, detecting it via psychic ability.
Ugh...Not another one... One Hornet-Class tele-pathed to the other.
Yes...It seems we're getting quite popular... The other Hornet agreed.
Alright, then...All together now, you too, Wasps!

In an instant, they used their massive Psyker abilities to crush the sphere like it was aluminum foil, then made a mind-crushing Psychic Scream straight for the attacker. The scream would disrupt any abilities the biological organism had, and the longer they stayed within range, the less they'd be able to do. Soon, they'd completely lose motor control, if they didn't escape.
Plus, it was really, really LOUD, and caused a major headache...

However at the moment the scream hit Maxima plunged deep within her mind giving sanction to her abilities causing the scream to not work on her. A construct of a zanbato appeared outside her ship and swung towards the Wasps to cut them to pieces along with every other ship she could see.

Because it was a PSYCHIC scream, her plunging into her mind had the effect of only making it worse...Since thats where she'd be hearing it. As soon as said construct was made, it was also crushed with telekinesis, and then snapped like a toothpick. Because of the massive psychic power attacking her mind, and the fact that she had increased its power onto her, the overload on her brain caused it to literally explode from all of the psychic power being forced upon it.

And with Maxima's death the deed was done, Maxima was a guinea pig to map the psychic signature of Maltruse's defensive fleet. And since the entire fleet had attacked, all their psychic signatures were mapped and sent straight towards the Library using a QEB type communication's device.

An Autoprogram that she had placed inside the ship also sent a transmission telling Ace Thunders of a secret location and it was untraceable by the Archive.
