The Grim Reaper
« on: July 20, 2010, 12:39:17 AM »
Name: Technically, he doesn't really have a name, just a title. He's the Grim Reaper.
Age: As old as both life and death themselves.
Race: Um...Iunno...Grim Reaper-Race? XD
Alliance: The Black and White Judges are his bosses, basically, so he's on whatever side they are.
Biography: He is the Grim Reaper. For countless ages, he has delivered the spirits of the dead to the Black and White Judges, so that they may move on to wherever they are destined. Those who resist are forced there, or, if he's in a bad mood, he can occasionally damn them directly to hell without a judgment. However, this is fairly rare, and he usually isn't in that bad of a mood anyway. In the case of a rebellious spirit that is willing to be peaceful, but still refuses to go with him to the spirit realm to be judged, he allows them a second chance at life, changing events so that they narrowly avoided death. Like, if someone was shot to death, he would slightly change events so that the bullet hit no major organs, or that it missed. Or, if thats not possible for whatever reason, he simply makes it so that the wounds or whatever 'miraculously heal' fast enough to allow them to live again. Either way, if you beat him, you live. No other conditions are allowed, though. You win, you get another chance. Thats it.
Also, if you steal his scythe, thats juuuust enough to tick him off enough to banish you to Hell, even if he seemed like he was in a good mood anyways. Its very annoying, you see, as too many people try. It was funny the first few times...Now its just old. In any case, he has been doing his job since the dawn of life, able to go wherever he is needed. AM fields cant block him, obviously, or people wouldn't be sent to the Judges in AM fields. And they still are. He is also basically invisible to those he isn't guiding, which is why you wont see him, or be able to stop him, if he's in the middle of taking away the dearly departed. I think thats it...
Weapons: He always carries his scythe, but its just a scythe.
Equipment: N/A
Magic Level: 5, but he doesn't really use it that much.
Appearance:

*If any of my characters die...Um...One of the staff shall NPC the Grim Reaper. Dont wanna meta-game.

Change the age, can't be that old or he'd be god.
Change the picture, that's too much of a joke.

Alright...But he IS the Grim Reaper...I just figured he'd be that old because thats how long people have been dying...What would you suggest?

And as for the picture...I thought it looked cool. The scythe, at least...And I didn't wanna use a picture of the Sims Grim Reaper, or especially not one from soul Eater/Billy and Mandy...I guess I'll try to find another picture, but if I cant, thats the one Im sticking with, alright?

Approved, though I need to talk to you 'bout it.

Also, here's a picture suggestion.

Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

I was actually trying to stray away from the whole 'skull of eeeeviiiiiiil' theme, and wanted the kind where you cant see his face n' stuff.
And thats fine by me, I'll log into meebo then.

Ja, that works.
...But I still want him to have the other scythe. XD It looks awesome, at least to me.

He's existed since Death has existed, and Death has existed since Life has existed. His age is fine.

Yeah, cool character though, Hiro.
There is only so much pain that can be taken before the bonds and chains of sanity are forsaken
It is in these lonesome times that we reach towards the light sublime
And from that light we pull the resolution of our time
To begin the end and start anew
