Griffins hunting for a home

[Zero]

The griffins. A race of magical creatures that were Sages like the Phoenixes or the dragons but that had their own unique set of abilities at their disposal.  A griffin with an oxygen independency spell was currently headed to the planet that the City of the Suvian had used to be on. This Griffin thought it was a new world.

This one was particularly faster than other Griffins however and flew harder than most normally could aimed like a missile straight at the planet unfortunately. Using magic the Griffin attempted to slow itself down and prevent itself from burning up in the atmosphere.

Yet something seemed odd to the griffin. As he reached out to the planet with his magical signature he sensed not very much life or anything on the planet as if it had been ravaged. Finally landing the Griffin began to survey the enviroment.

Rev appeared a little ways away from the Griffin, his magic signature masked, and his presence invisible. This was the first time the young ten-year-old incarnation had gone anywhere without Gen, as the two had stuck together ever since becoming aware. Even being separate and opposite types of magic, they had just found it right to work together, almost as if it was a calling. It could probably be said, that this was because they had gained sentience from the magic of Hikaru, K2323, and Kai, as it was their left over spells that formed the two, therefore some imprint of a sibling bond. Or it could be some work of fate. Either way, after becoming aware, the two incarnations had found one another and been together since, till now.

Now, in order to protect the City they had been in trusted with, and the AI that served as their friend and mentor, the two incarnations had decided to split up.

After careful thought and consideration, Rev finally appeared on the ground, visible to the griffin. "Are you friend? Or foe?" The young incarnation asked of the creature, looking him in the eyes with his own reflective ones.

[Zero]

The Griffin looked at Rev for a long time. It examined him and it's eyes lightened and darkened at intervals. Then it transformed into sage form again and said to Rev. “It depends really. " Looking at him it examined him and sensed unfamiliar magic. "What is your name?"

Stepping forward, Rev looked up at the Griffin Sage who was twice his height. Looking up at the man, he looked him straight in the eyes, his own eyes like mirrors, reflecting the intentions, motives, and nature of the person before him, seeing through to his very spirit. When finally satisfied, the incarnation answered. "Rev. And you?"

[Zero]

The Griffin looked at Rev and smiled. He said to him “My name is Sylvoros. “ He looked at the boy and smiled at him and then looked at him. “So....you are young but seem powerful...”

[Queen Bright]

"My..." Rev paused, hesitant as he didn't know the word he wanted. Him and Gen weren't exactly siblings, and friendship was a concept unknown to them. "My fellow Incarnation, Gen, and I are the Incarnations of Genesis and Revelation magic. What are you?"

[Zero]

“I am a Griffin.” He said looking down at the Incarnation. “There aren't very many Griffins left in existence only about 117 besides myself actually.”  He said with respect to the incarnation.

[Queen Bright]

"What happened to them?" Rev asked.

[Zero]

“Hunters. They hunted us to the numbers of us there currently are due to the abilities we possess.” said Sylthos. Looking at the Incarnation he said to Rev. "Will you allow me to bring the rest of the Griffins here?"

[Queen Bright]

"Are you an empire?" Rev asked. "Gen and I recently learned that empires try to take things, and even destroy them. We don't want that to happen to Archon or this place. Our other mentor, Iroku said that the planet was dying and needed help. So along with the help of The Commander, we all pitched in and saved the planet. Well, ... All but Iroku, he didn't like technology, but now he might help!" After babbling on, like kids tend to do, Rev looked at Sylthos. "Do you know Iroku? He talks weird, but he's nice. And Archon! Archon's like Gen and I, but he's made of technology, instead of magic. He can't come back because he's part of the city, that's why Gen's not here. She's protecting him and the city.

[Zero]

“We are not an empire actually. We are currently nomads who are looking for a permanent home to stay on. With your permission hopefully that home could be here and this world does look like it could use some help.” admitted Sylthos. "But no, I don't know Iroku or Archon. You say Archon is like you and made out of technology? How could that be possible?"

[Queen Bright]

"He's uh...." Rev thought for a moment, trying to remember exactly what Archon was. "He's a hologram, but technology, an AI. He runs the city. But Gen and I were entrusted with it's care. I think empires call it owning?" He then shook his small head. "But that's not right, because Archon's still 'alive,' ... So, we care for it."

[Zero]

Hmm. This incarnation seemed to be a smart one to Sylthos and so Sylthos would assist him somewhat.  “Well....if you are ever to get this world healed back to what it once was you will need a lot more magic users than yourself.  Can you explain to me who this Iroku person is?”

[Queen Bright]

"He's our mentor," Rev answered. "He and Archon, and Jade, and The Commander, and all of the others."

[Zero]

“Well perhaps since there are so few Griffins left and you do need help rebuilding this world we could come to some sort of a deal?” asked Sylthos. He did want the Griffins to be safe after all from all threats. Looking at Rev he examined him again and his eyes glowed white and then black.

[Queen Bright]

"I don't know..." Rev pondered, thinking it over. He had read the mans heart, but even with that, the heart reading had been confusing, the intentions weren't completely clear as the others had been. Was it because Gen wasn't with him? Finally looking at the griffin, Rev answered, "We should ask Iroku first, he was the one that knew the planet best."

[Zero]

Looking at Rev  Sylthos said to him “So where do you suspect we can find this Iroku person?”  Sylthos was clueless about Iroku and nearly clueless about Archon, Jade and the commander. All of which he did not know about and therefore would have to find out about from Rev in depth later on.  “And who is this Jade person you talk about? It sounds like the person is a she....”  Sylthos had been pondering a few things and those things were the questions he asked Rev.

"We trace his magic signature, of course." Rev went forward and grabbed Sylthos hand. "Like this." He then teleported them both to where he sensed Iroku, the Outerverse.
