[Zumi] The Drop Off
« on: July 15, 2010, 02:54:42 PM »
Zumi departed from the transportation vehicle that took her to the edge of Hell. From here, Zumi traveled on foot.

It intimidated her, to say in the lightest. This was where she belonged, where she should be placed at as a tree. Without really meaning to, Zumi reached up and touched the marks on her neck, rubbing it gently as she continued down the path to Hell. In a way, it was calming, it felt like home, but this probably would be because it was where she was meant to be, and instead she wasn't. Satan must have been extremely pissed that he lost a soul to whatever the hell Zumi had wrong with her. Sighing, Zumi kept walking.

Suddenly, the sands of Hell seemed to reach up, surrounding Zumi, pulling her down, and resurfacing her nearby three giant holes in the ground. A demon stood next to Zumi. "You... I sense that you have not come here through the Spirit Realm! State your purpose here!"

Zumi felt her dead heart drop to her stomach. She couldn't answer, as fear was consuming her senses, wiping away any thought and intelligence she had. Was she about to die? Was this it? Zumi felt a relieving calm wash over her as she stared at the demon. "I don't have a purpose." she simply said, eyeing him thoughtfully. "Am I suppose to have a purpose just to be in Hell?" Zumi wasn't really aware much of what the hell she was doing, just that she was IN Hell.

"No, but with everyone stumbling out of Mortality's Planes from the tournament, I couldn't be sure," the demon replied.

"Mortality Tournament?" Zumi raised an eyebrow, eyeing the demon. "And that is what, exactly?" she questioned, raising an eyebrow in curiosity. Maybe that's why it was so quiet down here, because everyone was at this...tournament. The name of it sounded extremely revolting, but at the same time it seemed to beckon as well. Zumi was extremely curious and wanting to go.

"Lucifer's holding a tournament in Mortality's Planes for the power of Plex," the demon repeated himself.

"May I go and watch?" Zumi could tell she was pushing the extremities of this demon, that his patience would be running thin just about now. "Or do I need a purpose?" Zumi added, sarcastically, glaring at the demon apprehensively.

"WATCH IT FOOL, I'LL THROW YOU IN THE FLAMES OF -"

Suddenly, Zumi found herself once more absorbed by sand, dropped into a metal hallway of sorts, somewhere underground. It was pure black, and yet the metal gave off great heat. Heat unimaginable to those who felt it.. But at the end of the hallway, a golden light of some sorts seemed to shine. It was Mortality's Planes.
