"Which of our fields did you say?" The elder asked, confused by the vagueness.

Aether showed what he did to the armour on the blueprints and handed them back to the Narrikian.

The fields that were needed were the Anti Pysc for starters so that it could be used when the Lorcar were attacked. The Narrikian Elite wanted the Lorcar wiped out completely and Rezick would oblige them. He had after all been working on viruses for that very reason that would wipe out all the Lorcar no matter whom they assimilated.

So he said to the Elder “I shall take your anti pysc, your anti magic, anti teleport, anti portal and anti energy fields if all of those are able to be purchased.”

"Of course." The elder said, quietly adding up the total approximate cost. He may not be good at magic, but he was good at math. "250,000 credits would be the total sum, if you wanted to by the blueprints for reproducing the shields, as well as several shield generators."

Holding out his card Rezick once more wired credits to the Zarethian Government. These fields would hold off Zere for a time being at least. One less problem for Rezick to have to deal with for the time being. “Deliver the fields and everything to Shuma except the blueprints. Send them to my ship along with the armors and the powered weapons.”

"Its been done already." The elder assured him.

Once assured that the supplies had been delivered to his ship Rezick grinned. Today would be the day that the Narrikian Elite Guard got prepared to deal with beings like Zere so that there would be no more problems with beings like him. After the preparations had been made Zere would be hunted and killed so that he was no longer a problem.

Still though the suspicion of Alexandere weighed heavily upon him because of all that Alexandere had done so far. He had arrived on Nap without an invitation and had a suspicious man with him.

Bombs had went off after that man had made a call on Nap. Obviously something must be done about Alexandere, but Rezick was not the kind of person to accomplish what needed to be done.

So he would ask the elder to allow him to send a shadow after Alexandere for a few weeks to keep an eye on him in order to be sure nothing happened that couldn't be dealt with.

“Honored Elder, since I am suspicious of your zarethian diplomat Alexandere may I have your permission to send a spy to keep an eye on all his activities for a month in order to put my mind at ease as to whether or not he is a member of WWB?”

These words had been chosen carefully as there was no desire to offend anyone. Proof was what was needed and if none was found, no reason to be suspicious of the man after all. Just to be on the safe side though this spy would not be a Narrikian that was sent, no this time something stronger instead would be sent.

Still though the supplies needed to have their delivery confirmed and for that to happen Rezick needed to be on his ship to send a transmission. Yet there were still trade agreements and what not that needed to be signed and done.

“Honored Elder, it seems something has come up and I must immediately head to my ship, but I assure you that another diplomat will be meeting with you shortly. As for the news leak it was fake and only part of my plan to stop the WWB from attacking the Narrikians and the Narrikian Enhanced at least until I have a solution to both of them. Their attacks slaughtered too many and so I came up with this solution after watching hours of video footage of their attacks over and over again.”

The Elder nodded wisely, his beard touching his lap. "I think that, because of your declarations.. we can have a Zarethian tag Alexandre. I am most honored to have you here, and I hope our paths cross again, Rezick." The Elder said.

The ship that belonged to Rezick code named the perception received a class 5 emergency transmission from the fleet. It informed all on board including the computer's cyber intelligence of what all exactly had been going on completely.

The soldier who had been talking to Aether panicked and said to him “We have to get to the armory. A hidden location in space full of emergency supplies for this kind of thing. I hate to leave Rezick behind, but this is no laughing matter.” With that he began to strap on a Zarethian powered assault armor that had been brought on board and told the ship's painter to come paint the symbols of the Elite upon the armor.

Once the painter had succeeded the soldier ordered Aether “I want you to upgrade the Zarethian Powered Assault Armors to have solar lasers and conventional weaponry built into them by the time we arrive at our destination.”

Meanwhile

Rezick looked at the Elder “Very well. I do hope we meet again in time. Anyway I must be going since I have to get back to my ship as I am receiving a message on my communicator to hurry back there as quickly as possible.”

Aether looked at him is surprise. He wasn't used to be ordered around like this. He resisted the urge to say something and then nodded and got to work.

Still though. It would be wise not to antagonize the Narrikian who was nearest him and clad in a ZPAA. So the Narrikian said to him. "Please get to work immediately."

------

Rezick returned to the Elder with trade agreements for him to sign.

What the Narrikian Enhanced said to the Zarethian known as Aether even though he was armored was “Will you please get to work on the armor and adding the solar laser upgrades and what not to the armor?”

Rezick returned to the room of the Elder. This time carrying a heavy stack of paperwork he set it down near the Elder and groaned with a bit of discomfort. “All this paper work is our trade agreements.”

Aether was already working and so did not hear him.

The Elder looked at the pile of papers warily. "All this for some trade agreements? Are you sure you aren't trying to bore me to death first?" He asked wryly.

Rezick is not trying to bore the councilor to death and merely moves most of the stack leaving the last 20 papers which are really are all that are needed for trade. The other 40 just ensured that the Zarethian Council couldn't sue the Narrikian Elite for using their material to reinforce ships.

“Very well. There were only 20 you need to initial and sign. On both the front and the back.”

The soldier watched him get to work and thanked him.

The Councilor sighed and got to work, reading the slips carefully to make sure that the Zarethian trade rights are not violated. Some short time and a lot of writers cramp later the councilor was finished.

The papers had now been signed and so Rezick took out a card that contained a teleportation spell. He handed it to the Elder and said to him “In a time of need rip this card and I shall come to your aid if I am able to.”  He took the papers and used magic to teleport them onto his ship.

He looked at the elder and pulled out a stone tablet that had several spells on it. “This will bring a few Narrikian Enhanced to your aid if you need them.”

With that Rezick held up his fist and pointed it at the sky a portal appearing on the ceiling and sucking him into it. He was always one for theatrics while leaving. So before he was sucked in he said to the Elder “I will see you again soon friend, once I have checked and made sure everything is fine.”
