Janice was lying down in...A arena, of some sort? Groggily, she got up, getting the sleep out of her eyes. Last thing she could remember, she was doing some tests on one of the ships, and then...Blank. She looked around; it wasn't a arena, no, rather it was the top of some kind of tower of some sort. A alter, at the top of a tower, for...Something. No walls, not roof, just a raised section in the middle with a hole in it, and...What appeared to be a small red sun(comparatively; it was rather large, but small compared to a normal sun; this was about the size of a bus, except spherical) floating right above a hole in the middle of said raised area. In truth, it wasn't a sun, and this wasn't just any tower; but rather, the Mars Lighthouse, designed to hold the Mars star(the big sun looking thing) to provide the world, along with the Lighthouses of Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury, with Alchemy in a alternate reality than which she came from, but she didn't know these things. Just that it was really, really weird being up so high with a floating sun that had no gravitational pull.

OOC:If you have no idea what Im talking about, just look up the Golden Sun series. Its a pretty good series of games. Anyways, in the series, there's four lighthouses, each giving power to a different form of 'Psynergy', and each fulfilling a different part of Alchemy. Blah blah blah, the Mars one powers up Mars, or fire, Psynergy. However, since psynergy probably isn't magic, that has no effect on our duel, and Im just giving you near useless info.

"How droll." Lincoln muttered as his short frame looked up at the red orb that seemed to shine light on the world below. He had been sent to acquire this specific item by his creator and master, Koty. How he would go about doing such..would require some thinking. Sighing quietly the sentient construct turned it's head towards the person who appeared to have woken up. He hadn't noticed her until she stood up, mainly because he was busy focusing on the orb. She looked young, and that would make his next job rather unpleasant. He was under strict orders to remain unseen and unheard. That meant that if she saw him, or even heard him. Or even thought that there was someone here, he'd be forced to kill her.

And Lincoln wasn't in the mood to cast a displacement spell, in fact he was in the mood to kill someone. Even thought he acted like a gentleman he had an innate blood-thirst. It reared it's ugly head every now and then, but that was ok, the little man had no qualms about killing innocents. He found it fun, as if he was a child with a magnifying glass, and they were but ants.

Clearing his throat before fully turning towards the female he wore a modest smile. "Hello, what brings you to such an odd place?" He asked in a seemingly harmless tone.

At first, she didn't seem to hear him, looking around at the expanse off the side of the massively tall tower. The Marz Lighthouse laid in the northern tundra, so very close to the Great Falls(in this reality, apparently the world really WAS flat, so the water from the sea was literally falling off the edge of the world). But hearing no response from anyone else to his question, she turned, saying,"Oh, uh me? To tell the truth, I dont really know...One minute, I was doing some adjustments, the next Im lying down on the roof of this tower. Where ARE we, anyways? And how is...That...And that...Even possible?" She asked, first pointing to the Mars Star, at the center of the alter, and then at the Great Falls which this lighthouse was so near.
