This was a rather expected possibility of an attack on the Library, portals could feasibly be opened which would block the radiation from reaching the Library, making it incapable of harvesting it. But, it was just that. Expected and already planned for. Within moments a wormhole appeared at the apex of the Quasar's jets, opening within a good distance from the Library itself which let the jet bypass the portals altogether.
