K2323 and Chal arrived in the K Archives and began searching for a book which K2323 desperately needed to find. Chal, at first, tried to keep quiet and listen to K2323's council, and assist the geezer sage by trying to find this book. However; after several minutes of searching, the two found nothing and retired to a table to sit and rest for a bit.
"Sir," Chal spoke up, questioning him. "Who was that man back there, and why did you..?"
"Chal... A lot of darkness has filled me over the years. Nobody triggers that darkness more than Logan Kent, the man you just met. I'm sorry if you saw an unpleasant side to me, but he.... He brings out the darkness in me."
"If you say so."
After a bit of a break, the two continued searching, and eventually they found the book they were looking for. K2323 smiled as he dusted off the cover of the book, reading the title out loud.
"The Dimension Theory: Issue 390 and a half. By K2323, based off the findings of Konjan of the Guardians."
And with that book in hand, the two teleported back to the Outerverse.
