Government needed a strong leader. Of course it had a strong leader currently, the Japae government was ruled by a leader who was prepared to lead them no matter what. Already he had reorganized the people into a more efficient social structure and a more efficient military structure.
Instead of being like Ju and using the same structure he had, a new structure had been implemented. It went as followed.
High Lord – The absolute ruler of Japae.
Lord – Ones who have completed their training under Lord Montreal but are less powerful than him. These act as his underlings and deliver his commands to his apprentices. Sometimes they even take over training certain apprentices.
Apprentices – Ones he has trained to some degree and has continued to train. They act as sort of the arbiters of his will and deliver his command to the blades.
Blades – These are the people that carry out his will on the battle field or the will of his apprentices. Usually only 1000 of these per apprentice, and 2000 per High Lord.
Paladins – These are sort of the normal military generals and are highly skilled at regular martial arts and other things. But they lack the same magical strength that Lord Montreal or his underlings possess.
NMI
The non magic infantry. These specialize in martial arts or technological combat.
Squire – Lowest rank there is. It means you basically are a commoner and have to do whatever you are told by anyone of higher rank than you yourself.
