The Crafting of 'Iirrenae'
« on: December 22, 2010, 03:38:11 AM »
Iroku, now returning to stand near the meditating children, Kotah and Ezael, sinks down into the Outerverse, surrounding himself with it. Tendrils of ethereal energy burrow into his skin as he communes with the Core. Soon, the entire surface of the Outerverse is engulfed in a misty, silver moonlight. Within seconds, golden petals, seemingly made from sunlight woven into strands of silk, begin to fall from the walls of the dimension, collecting on the childrens' shoulders and heads. His muscles ripple, flexing outwards as the Outerverse creates two new interbusses, sewing them directly into Nisorin and Celestie's weaves as they begin their ceremony. The flames burst out in a plume where Iroku had burrowed, first as a silver, shifting to a sunshine gold before finally settling on a powerful, almost regal platinum. Hours later, he emerges from the ground in a deep slumber, regaining his strength for the coming war. The Circle of Niirrn had been cast, the Iirrenae reignited, and new life created from it. Soon, the Embodiments themselves may be replaced, their purposes having been ignored and forgotten.
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.
