And what he got for this was a blade of wind slicing the sand next to him.
...Well, it would've, but Hiro's not a master mage. Instead it had force of a light punch behind it, and no cutting power. Either way, it'd get the guy's attention.
"And who the hell're you supposed to be, eh? How'd ya find our base?" Hiro yelled down from the top of the base. Masamune was in his right hand, the black blade draped over his sholder. Next to him was Sara, carrying her lance with both arms. Embers danced around the tip, as she was ready to fight if nesscessary. A fewother mercs were also there, Jonny with his knife was sitting on the top of the fortress' massive door's hinge, with Keira suddenly appearing next to him with the help of her cloak(she's best at invisibility stuff), to his disdain. Flora was on a level of the base, just below the roof Hiro and Sara were standing on, and was looking down upon(physically, that is, not metaphorically) the person from a window.
All in all, they'd gotten to these places in about half a minute, from wherever they were within. A rag-tag bunch, it looked kind of like, but of the better kept kind. Good clothes and armor, not rags, its just they seemed dissimilar in styles. Hiro had a shoulderplate on his left shoulder, and a gauntlet on his right arm. Sara seemed to just be wearing a black shirt, a pair of jeans, a purple jacket, and a annoyed scowl. Jonny had his knife in his right hand, and seemed to be wearing a t-shirt. Keira was wearing her cloak-anything underneath couldn't be seen. Flora looked to be a japanese princess of a sort, as she wore a oversized green kimono, of much the same color as her green skin. It couldn't be seen clearly by the hobo-looking man at the gate, but Alycia, the Archive VI given to the mercs, was standing next to Flora, in a holographic form that is. They all seemed to be judging the person, waiting for his response.
